At this point, two weeks have passed without any actual official mention of the Amarr/Minmatar warzone by CCP. Unlike previous events of grand scale which got pretty quick acknowledgement, this has gone the way of that odd smell that no one wants to bring up.

Medal or not, one CCP employee spending thirty seconds alt-tabbing form a development screen to type out a forum post would not have taken away from their progress towards Proteus. It could have been an entirely non-commital GÇ£Congrats Amarr MilitiaGÇ¥ and never mentioned a yes/no on the medal. That would have at least been something.

Considering that Faction Warfare is driven on internal community and was (at least in the past) something CCP put effort into (twice) to continue to keep alive and thriving, this seems to be a poor PR move. Not only does this send a very clear message to the Amarr players that they are not worth the accolades the Caldari and Gallente players were given, it sends an even clearer message to the Minmatar players. GÇ£Do not bother trying.GÇ¥

FW people know me; normally I try to be constructive and forward moving with what I say. This post does not really follow that, which I apologies for. I have had little enthusiasm to even log in over the last week or so. It is just that this entire situation has me frustrated. EVE OnlineGÇÖs FW is something I spent the last five or so years helping move along.

Over the last year or two, what I have seen is a slow rot spreading through the two militias I have contact with (the Amarr and Militia). Dissatisfaction and apathy have worn down both groups of dedicated players which has heavily damaged the ability for either group to help build up newer players in to dedicated EVE fans. A big part of this comes from the poor response from CCP towards issues brought up by the FW community. This whole issue over the Amarr militias (and the future of a Minmatar militia) warzone medal really is feeling like a final nail in the coffin.

not everybody uses facebook either, infact this game, these are the FORUMS, everything should be announced on THESE forums not some 3rd party site. that **** should have been posted in general discussion or something.

i agree completely with jhaelee, this is extremely disappointed as me and many of my fellow pilots have put many years into FW and to finally achieve something that we fought for even before it was cool and not get even a hint of a reward.... i feel burned by ccp.

if fw is supposed to be the place where new pilots come to experience pvp and invent a reason to pvp, where the largest small ship combat takes place IN THE GAME, you better take care of it.

Being in Amarr militia means actually doing something, not sitting in your chair on an unknown alt smirking every time you see another system taken.

Instead of comparing the "size" of our warzones we could focus on working together to get CCP to give a **** about FW again.

Dear CCP, could i aski how our medal creation is going?

I was hoping to not have to write in this topic.

It would be epic if u did not give us a medal while caldari/gall has it for the same achievement.

I can imagine only one thing: there is no pro photoshop guy in your crew who could draw a proper medal.
