Originally by: Phoenix Lonestar Don't get complacent, CCP. We're happier that you're slowly but surely fixing what you BROKE (please, let's remember that it was fine before Dragon, but Dragon screwed the pooch), but we won't be entirely happy until the game is running like it was pre-Dragon. I don't care how much you say "The servers are operating with 50% less CPU usage since Dragon!" I don't care what your performance figures say. If they said CPU usage was at 153%, but the game was running smoothly, THAT'S what I'd care about. I doubt anyone here is oohing or ahhhing over the increased performance that isn't translating over into the client side. My personal benchmark is as follows: The problems are fixed when you can have 650 people in Jita on a 28,000 player day with minimal (if any) lag... like PRE-DRAGON!!!!!!
To my memory they rolled dragon because TQ had been experiencing realy bad lag for the past few weeks. What I believe they are saying here is that DRAGON fixed the major lag issiues we where having but as so many times before with software in general the fix has introduced new bugs with similar symptoms. (inow TQ has a new disease but running the same fever)

Originally by: Barrick Mane You got alot of nerve... It's ppl like you that make it harder for CCP, not to mention why should they even bother if they continue to get attidudes from ppl like you.
Because we're paying them US$14.95 per month per account?
Just a guess, but it might have something to do with why they bother and why they put up with so much. Besides, venting on the forum is harmless and we all know the devs don't read the forums, so no one's feelings were hurt.
(tongue firmly in cheek, you humorless bastards)

Originally by: Sharkbait hmm. there is another client i use, it is the decompiled client with some other tools etc. i can't really go into it tbh.
ZOMG, you use py2exe to produce the Windows client executable we all run?
