We are aware of a problem with trial accounts not being able to log in. We are working on an emergency fix for this.

I'm running Vista post-RC1 build 5728. Eve has worked flawlessly except this patch doesn't want to install. It crashes when I select "Start Update." I tried compatibility mode for XP and 98/ME and same thing. Anyone seen this or figured it out yet?
Have you tried downloading it directly from the site and installing it manually? Auto-update didn't work for me (I'm on Vista as well atm), but getting it manually did.

BTW the mission journal entries don't have a bigger font for the actual mission name anymore.

Yeah I downloaded it and ran it and still no go. Anything customized about your Vista install? I'm going to turn off UAC and try again.

Turns out this was a change made directly into the database and not via a changelist notification. It should have been in the patch notes, but due to the manner in which the change was made it was overlooked.
I will update the patch notes in a moment with this change. I apologize for the oversight.

It's only if you have 2 jump clones at the same station. It was broken in dragon and fixed today.

My loooooong buddy and mail list now opens like a charm - at least half the time as before patch  don't know if ccp have done anything for this in this patch but I like it!!!

Yes, it was 100 ISK, I had my mind on an e-mail at the same time I was updating the patch notes.  Fixed now.

Somehow todays patch, made me lose over 3mill skill points and now I only have 6 skills left and 260k skill points 
Everything seems to work as if I still had all my skills, but as I want to train some more on those, it kinda suck that I cant see them
And oh yea, IŠve already tried reloging many times, dosent help at all

After the patch, if you approach a stargate and select it, the distance on the overview does not seem to automatically update - you must click the stargate in space to see the actual distance. This is different than before the patch.

Please try clearing your cache, if that doesn't work, you may need to wait untill downtime, but rest assured, your skills ARE there

clear the machonet and be sure you are waiting long enough, EVE progress bars lie sometimes I believe they are on a timer and can hit 100% without actually being done. I had to wait an unusually long time to get the bulk data this time as well.

Sheesh...I went through 10 missions or so, turning 9 of em down cause the funny agent loves sending me THROUGH low sec and not noticing in the mission description that there was low sec involved (reported that bug a while back, still there) and noticed on some missions the pics are missing...
The Rogue Slave Trader comes to my mind, can't remember the other few :/
Gonna write a bug report later when I see another one...but tbh...there are more important things to fix 
Hm...just went through my old missions...The Serpentis Spies and Shipyard Theft are missing the Pics as well

Working very nice here. Patch seems to have cleared a lot of fps issues I saw out in 0.0 during 20 man fleet combat w. drones out.

so kinda got screwed out of a few hours this morning in training because of this patch.
Where is the best, most up to date place you keep when you are going to patch.
So that when I go to sleep expecting to switch a skill when I wake up (before I go to work) I don't get screwed again out of training time?
I didn't see anything about a patch until after the fact, but maybe it's because I don't know where to look. let me know thanks :)

Yes, when you look at the details of the mission, the mission title is no longer bold/bigger font.
