A reset would be the worst mistake they could make followed closely behind by not reinforcing their server and code.

There are a bunch of gameplay issues that would need to be addressed. For example, people can set up POS's relatively early while to take them down would require months of specialized training(dreads). Getting rid of unattended cans is fine by me as long as there is a way to reset the timer on them. NO secure cans littering places... no nothing... would it be fun to start again? errm whats the point, for those who actually end up staying and playing again from the start would eman they woukld know what they are doing, this will then l;ead on to less time wasted to learn the game. this ofc will then lead to lots of people in eve who are yes very close to each other and compeatng to get the best ships but instead will all be equal, more or less. now whats the point in that when 25k if use are near the same sp and can pretty mcuh fly the same class of ships etc and ending up having fights that are more of less the same . yes there will be people who will train things differnet to others but a vast majority wil stick to what they know is best and quickest to go for. persoanlly id rather be able to compeate with iothers at far diferent skill olelves from the rock hard vets to the ikle nooblets....

That's why all of us who started say, a year and a half ago, are rolling in the gutter, unable to compete with all those 3+ year old characters... oh, wait.
