Hey guys,
Since the EIB scandal and my alt being a teller in the bank I have been left with 1.5 billion isk in the alt's wallet. The simple fact, is that I don't want the money. Those interested in obtaining this 1.5 billion isk, or prizes etc are advised to give some ideas on ways this isk can be given to you.
This may include but not limited too:
* Lottery/s * Knowlege Competition/s * In-game competition/s (duels etc)
Or anything else you can think of. So, if you want a piece (or the whole thing) of the 1.5 billion isk pie, put your thinking caps on, and give me some ideas.
Please limit everything to the forums as I rarely get to play eve any more.
Cheers

Edited by: Fuujin on 24/10/2006 05:35:42 Treasure hunts are always fun. Set up some puzzles around the eve universe that relate to each other somehow that will eventually lead to the final prize.
Though i'd prefer the 'give money' function. _______________

I had an idea for duels in newbie frigates. It would be more of a test of tactics and who can select the best setup. Also anyone could join in.

as an instructor here at CAS I feel that a massive influx of cash to my wallet is a vote for the future of eve. if I no longer have to worry about money I can dedicate all the more time to informing new players about the gaps of the tutorial and other issues. it would also allow me to be more free with isk and basic supplies to help new folks who are having some trouble, and to provide seed money for a few small player corps to encourage new players to get out into the world.
a billion isk for tek'a rain is a vote for a better, smarter tomorow.

Please note, the idea has to be relatively simple to implement as I don't have a lot of game time available to me. Either that, or the person suggesting it may like to host it themselves and I basically just pay the winners etc (ie regarding noob ship duel)

its easy, pass over the cash to tek'a, and rest easy knowing that your helping to make a few nubs a little smarter, and a lot less annoying. I calculate that such a cash influx will increase the averaged inteligence across the eve comunity by at least thirty percent.

You could throw it into a battleship BPO and put that off as a lottery - perhaps one of the new Tier 3 ones coming in Kali

Uh, how about... Give it to the first person who wins a particular prize on a certain date for a certain person. But make sure the time is uncertain and the date in unknowable. That way no one will know, when to go get tickets! So make sure you go hide it away in an unknown planet in a unknown system in the middle of an uncertain place... That way no one will be able to find it before the certain date. Also make sure you don't spend it on an certain item that you have wanted for a particular time. As the item is really a gimmick from a unknown person for a certain reason, namely to get your money! So make sure you give it to the certain person on that particular date, in that unknowable place, before the unthinkable happens.
But don't forget to hide it in the unknowable place in the middle of the uncertain system on an unknown planet. Or the unthinkable might happen and the unknowable might happen to a certain currency, which you wouldn't want to happen to the certain money. As it's very important to remember the unknowable might happen, but you don't want the uncertain to dwarf the unknowable as the improbable always wins the day.
---------- I gave up on sigs. As all the beatings are starting to hurt and leave nasty bruises. |

1. Put out lots of secure cargo containers near gates with a question in description, and the password to match the question.
2. Put a note inside each one of those, which points the generic place where the next can, can be found.
3. Hide the secret can pretty well, and put a question to the can, and password to match
4. Put a note inside which tells how to claim the 1.5b.
5. For more challenging puzzle, put up several different "storyboards" which lead to parts of the message required to claim the 1.5b.
Or easier, just give it to me --- Sell orders Recruitment

Aside from the most logical solution of giving me the isk you could buy some rare item(s) and stash it away at some random safespot, with a riddle as the can name to figure out the password. Riddle could be eve related or something else (maybe something related to the EIB scandal ).
Alternatively I'm sure that an eve-radio DJ could use the isk to run a super contest on their radio show, or maybe you could even talk with the live events team to script some sort of event where a dev could fly a bad ass faction ship and the items dropped when they died would be the isk equivalent?
