After living in Stain for like 5-6 months, npc hunting in my geddon (armortanking)
after sorting out some stuff in fountain/aridia, i jump into my raven up there, and go for some npc'ing..
forgeting a raven is SHIELD tanked, and NOT armnor tanked..
I die misserably to a 3x 1.4mill spawn..
Man did i feel smart after that incident.. LOL
ohh an this other time i lost a apoc (my first) after falling asleep while autopiloteing through some 0.5 systems..
woke up to my blinking pod.. and chekked the combat logg.. 1.5hours of beeing shott by 3 npc friggies..

After a little bit of chat with some guy in local, We agreed to a duel "in kisogo". He opened my cargo container, so i began to lock him and pressed F1, F2, F3 "Wait why are the guns firing without a lock!? OH CRAP i still have a random newbie locked! There goes my T2 fitted Stabber . . . Least i popped his ibis before being vaporized under a hail of concord fire  .

Well mine was yesterday went to a 3/10 plex with my zealot got to the end and was gettin hit hard by the heavy missle batteries went to warp actually warped then came back in a pod. My tank wasn't working either so i guess i must have switched it off right before i got to the second stage.

Setting a ceptor up to kill npc bs.
Get a Dread Guristas spawn.
Go to full stop to get the DG BS loot, drop it in your cargo, get pwned by a other npc bs. DG items pop..

Done this, and also shot at someone in Empire thinking I was in 0.0 so many times that I don't even include them in my embarassing stories.

Once apon a time, I had been ratting, and filled up my Vexors 480m3 cargo bay with tasty 0.4-0.3 loot, and I had ran off, and seen a "COSMOS" area.
Me, being the foolish noob I was, decided it would be a good idea to investigate.
Lo and behold, I was locked in place by about 40 infector virus drones, somethings... And I lost the Vexor, and all my nifty loot.
Boy was I mad.
By the way, does anyone know what the drones most likely were? It was in Caldari space if it helps.

I think I had been playing for like 8 days. I was all jazzed about the game and how cool it was. I bought my first Rifter and some guns and other stuff. I undocked for its maiden shakedown cruise. I saw a can and flew next to it and found out it belonged to someone else and I couldnt open it.
I thought to myself (this was before I knew about training grounds)"No more of a perfect target to test my guns on something than that cant shoot back" and I locked it up...."What's this?" "Am I sure I want to do this?" "What the hell does that mean?" "I pressed the button didnt I?" "Concord Schmoncord!" "Thats like the cops...are they gonna pull me over and dock me faction points on my license for cleaning up some space trash?" "Hey! WTF! My ship turned into a ball!"
*Confused, our fearless hero turns to the not so supportive and helpfull help channel to learn how to turn his ship back into a rifter*

After doing a ton of fed navy missions I desided to do some trading. Had a huge load worth around 120mil and made sure my auto pilot was going to avoid low sec. Click auto and went to get a beer and watch some tv. Came back to find that my standing was too low for Amarr space and that the Amarr customs fleet blow me and my cargo to bits

Imo my kill was the best,
I was noobish, and was hauling from o3l to agil with my trusty bestower,
read on forums that ecms are a cool thing on a indy,\
I though -' why not, its always a chance'
a vaga was ona gate, he targetted me, said "yarr" on local and i just paniced
hit all the ecm's on him, run for the gate, but my armor is shrinking !
i scream with terror, i end up in a pod, and the bob is laughing at me bout
"oh thank god to ccp, and sentries, they save me from griefing haulers like you(me)"

- Brand new Jaguar, first time in a T2 ship. I fit it for ACs and go out to try some NPCs and see how it handles. I find a triple BC spawn and they can't touch me. I have the first one almost dead when *smack* right into an asteroid. This bounced me between two other asteroids. Jaguar at 0 m/s vs 3 x BC spamming heavy missiles = dead Jaguar.
- Moving my tempest in 0.0 to an op location and run across an enemy Thorax on the gate. My tempest was untanked set up as a fleet sniper. Having very little experience at it, I decided "Hey, Thorax...easy" so I take a shot at him, then proceed to watch myself die a very, very, very slow and painful death while not making a dent on his tank. By far the most embarassing ship loss ever for me. But, live and learn.

Engaged a pod at a station in a system that i thought was 0.0. Turned out it was 0.1. 35mil down the drain cause it was a t2 fitted sabre

While traveling through 0.0 on auto pilot coz i had no instas i came across a crow at a gate. I managed to warp out to a planet, dropping a BM along the way. Having reached the planet, I proceeded to warp straight back to the previously mentioned gate and crow. WTF!! The crow took my merlin but i managed to warp out to my new SS in my egg only to warp straight back to the gate again. By this time i'd given up and waited for the clone express to get me home.

Falling asleep drunk on a 0.0 gate while moving a megathron loaded with lots of stuff for a new base somewhere. I had a megathron set up for travelling thinking that was the only thing I could do being that wasted (and still manage to log in)and managed to do 3-4 jumps and then I passed out. Half an hour later I woke up in a new pod somewhere in empire. I was killed by 3 frigates, while the mega had, web, heavy nos and frig/cruiser guns on it.
That was a long time ago though.

1. Lost raven to 2 frigs and one BS at 0.0 belt, because I ran out of missiles, had no drones and frigs kept me scrambled... I didn't know logging off was an option. The raven was borrowed from a corpmate at POS (he didn't know it)
2. Had a gang of two with my hauling alt in L4 mission in 0.5. I just wanted to try the damage of my missiles on him, then suddenly Concord was there and gaboom.. I had just recently rejoined a NPC starter corp :(
3. 5 minutes later lost a cruiser to Concord due to forgetting the agression timer and undocking... |

Right after Exodus came out, I was flitting around in my shiney new Deimos (one of the first ten BIG made). I was a resident of Fountain at the time and we were locked in constant combat with proto-BoB corps. On this particular day, I had headed back up to Placid to pick up stuff and found a buddylisted hostile in the system. Completely forgetting that was in .5 space, I hopped a couple of belts until I saw him, mining in an apoc. The only thing I can remember is getting giddy at the possibility of bagging a battleship with a brand new-to-the-game HAC, not even realizing he was mining. I thought he was running security for his buddies.
I attacked, CONCORD webbed me and I instantly realized my mistake...so I continued the attack. Back then, HAC's were cheaper than Armageddons, so I took him out and his pod. Of course, CONCORD took out my Deimos.
On the other hand, I killed someone that was either passed out or something in 0.0 about 20k off a gate in a lightly-traveled area. I was in an Iteron V with a smartbomb. He was in a thorax and had loads of tech 2 gear. Took me a while to kill him, but it was an awesome kill.

when you could still chain npcs properly, don't do it solo with a spawn that scrambles -.-
kill the ships off, and they instantly respawn + scramble :/
almost had some expensive moments with a dual mwd torp raven when asked to test the tank of somebody in corp

Two spring to mind.
First was when I warp scrambled a gate in my cruiser. Sentries made short work of me. In my defence, it didn't warp out...
The other was earlier this year. I was in the habit of equipping an Iteron V for battle and taking ore from farmers. Sometimes they would attack me and I would slowly kill them off in my It V. One time I happened to bite off more than I could chew - got webbed by the hauler and the Hammerheads from 2 Covetors proceeded to eat my armour before I could align for warp. I'm still working on getting revenge for that.

About a month or so ago I decided to make a trial account and try to re-acquire that newbie giddy feeling of training skills one right after the other. I decided to name him Pi Ratalt, and I wanted to kill some fool in a 0.4 belt in a rifter. I trained for a week (using my main's money) to fit a scrambler and webber, damage mod, ACs, etc, then I go to the nearest .4 system and try and figure out how to find a good indy target. So I figured, why not jump to some place near the middle of the map, so if I find someone they will be closer than a system fringe gate. Let's see....what's close to the middle of this system, besides the sun of course? Why that moon looks like a good place to start. I cackled in an evil manner as I warped to it, but soon realized that I forgot POSs go over moons. I died, and I was so frustrated at my noob moment I deleted that guy and never logged into that trial account again.

I lost a crow after accidently locking a freighter at a gate while trying to look at it in a 0.9 system. Then to activate my ab using the alt-f1 keys I only ended up pressing the f1 key.
This therefore fired a missile at the freighter - not pretty after that lol
