Just bought my very first Curse in Rens. Went to test it on a corp-mate. Goonwaffe != Goonfleet. Thankfully it happend in a safespot and not infront of the busy station, only had to contend with the mocking of my alliance mates.
Really wish CCP would release the Sovereignty skill.

I was in highsec with a buddy of mine and we were mission ho'ing. We were doing great, having a blast, etc, until we goofed in a stupid mordus aggromongers mission and had to warp out.
As we wait for his cap to recharge, I thought it'd be funny to nos him.
CONCORD didn't think it was funny and blew me up.
I was all like "WTF?! But we're in the same gang?!"
He then told me, "Yeah but we're not in the same corp anymore."
To which I simply replied, "Oh."
The fun part is that the ship I lost then was freshly reimbursed hours before...

Lost a thorax when I tracked down a harpy with a few corp mates. We engaged the harpy (the harpy quickly wasted our main tackler lol) and eventually a thorax warps in and webs and starts nossing me. I didn't even notice him attacking me until I had no cap and wasn't even getting near the harpy. In the end we beat him and the thorax but not before I went pop

I nossed my alt for cap about 18 months ago in a .8 and lost a pretty expensive raven w/ limos siege... course back then they were 35 mil each... lol. Yeah I use energy transfers now that they exist... /me sighs.

Uncloaking my rapier in front of the Five fleet. When I never hit the uncloak button. This was just after recons had been put in. So I lost one of the top 10 rapiers.

ohh and got podded becuase this was back in the day when NPC could pod players.

Lol...earlier this year I lost an Armi (uninsured, to boot) when I accidentally hit a smartbomb button instead of my microwarp drive when approaching a busy gate...

In Torrinos, I attacked a war target catalyst in my incursus and he killed me. So I got a cruiser and killed him. Then he brought back a cruiser to re-kill me. As he dropped out of warp, I turned my guns hot and tried to get the first lock. I accidentally clicked some noob on autopilot that dropped right in front of him. After the sentry guns killed me, they killed a gangmate too. Turns out he had a t2 support ship and remote repped my incursus during the first fight. I still feel stupid to this day about that

First time POS came out CA put one up in HED-GP, I jumped into HED with an enyo and it was camped like hell, I managed to escape the camp and warped to a random moon.. landed right in the enemy POS

i lost a cerb with my alt about a year ago...
had intel bout fearless sheep (4s guy) in system close buy so i quickly fitted cerb and went out to attack his scorp (non jamming) i had just made the perfect fit too... so i thought (true sansha medium cap booster, 2 t2 invuln, t2 large shield booster, disruptor), no WCS's
I flew over and engaged him and i think his friend in a thrasher or some *** little **** and although my cap was holding fine my shield was dieing at an alarming rate(not at all what i expected from a scorp). i deaggroed and tried to jump through... didn't happen in time and i popped.
****ed off extremely over just losing a 150mil ship(at the time) + mods I logged and later logged back on...

My most expensive loss ever was and Ishtar with T2 everything and a Centus Med Armour repairer. Was out NPCing in Great Wildlands when a friend calls in Corp "Hey guys thers an officer spawn here I need help!" I warp to the gate, didn't have an insta for that 1 gate, though I'd be fine as system was clear, while I was in warp a solo Geddon jumped in, I landed a few Km off him when I came out of warp and died before I could think what to do. I think the guy was almost in tears when he saw what blew up on the kill mail.
After that I still had about 1.5 Billion ISK left, so wasnt that bad a loss, just was the last time I ever go out with expensive stuff on.

A loooonnnggg time ago back when i bought this game, on an account which i have since forgotten about, I lost a kestrel in the most unusual way. Me and my buddy were miners and it took us forever to make any money, so when we had 200k we were very proud of it, and used it to buy me a shiny new kestrel. I put another 50k (doesn't sound like much, but this was back when the game was new and was worth a lot to me) into it for missles, then I undocked and started to warp towards a gate. While the kestrel was initiating the warp I happened to see a pod next to me. I right-click on it, and see the "board ship" command. What the heck? I click it, and ZOOM, my ship warps off and leaves me behind in this person's pod. Now I'm seriously confused, and i warp after my kestrel, because, of course, I know where it was going. I also called up my buddy, and he came to the system I was in and we chased after the ship. My pod was slow, and somehow his bantam was unable to catch up with a floating ship in time, and the thing just dissapeared after a few minutes. It was the most embarassing thing I've ever done in this game. The main thing I don't understand is how did I board a friggin escape pod? I would have complained to the devs but I didn't know about the petition oppurtunity, it may not have even been around then, and I was so frustrated that I just quit for several months. I was really stupid

I still kick myself to this day about this one, although, in retrospect, it is kinda funny.
I was in my shinny new wolf, all fitted out with t2 tank and t2 280s. only thing missing was a webber 
I was still in a gang from some earlier ops, and was sitting 100km off a random planet doing market searches for a webber along my route home when I get a "join waring gang" invite. laughing to myself at the foolishness of such an attempt, and feeling secure that I was already in a gang, I clicked join. little did I know, unlike the last MMO I played, that in EVE you dont have to leave a gang to join another one.
well, of course, 5 seconds later in warps an inty at 15km, followed by an AF (I forget what kinds exactly, but pretty sure both were caldari) I manage to lock the indy and strip his shield and some of his armor before hes too close to track (/em waves to noobjuice, yes I still remember who it was  )
I can imagine those 2 guys laughing about this one for some time, especially when they got the small can in my hold full of t2 fittings I was moving back up north.
at the time, being only a few months old, I never told anyone in my corp exactly what happened......

Not too expensive, but mighty stupid...
Sitting in low sec on a gate with a mate in a raven waiting to wander off, I'm in a stiletto. Noob-corp player in a merlin comes through, we decide to pop it as a potential spy (we were at war at the time.)
Raven opens fire, gets sentry aggro, I lock and scramble. Kill the merlin in a few seconds, no problem, plenty of time left. I think to myself 'podding time'. Lock, scramble ... wtf, where are my shields? Armor? Structure? Didn't even kill the pod, was almost in warp when I popped.
Worst thing: it was an alliance's CEO alt coming through to join their corp at the station's office. Oops... |

event 1 - 'scouting' in an Armageddon. Deaded by about 22 hostile t2 cruisers and a few frigs. I basically lagged to station Never repeated that one.
event 2 - "Woot, just got medium t2 blasters. Void ammo! Let's put these on a rax, put the best junk on it, and test it out on Sanshas. This is cool as hell, whooping up on some sansha with a t1 cruiser. 2 battleships down, loving this t2 rep...wait, why am i stuck on this rock? (there is only one sansha frig still shooting at me from about 10km, too far for blasters - i have forgotten to bring drones) Why am i STILL stuck on this rock? Why am I on fire? Where is my cap? Why am i STILL on FIRE and STUCK on a ro..

My best was in XZH, when we were fighting against D2. I had my main and my alt in one of our POSs, and I wanted to podjump my alt back to empire to get a skill or new ship or some such. But podjumping takes so long, and she was already outside the POS shields. So I took my new Tempest outside the shields and decided to speed things up. Oops. Who knew POSs shot anything that shot friendlies outside the shield?

I was in 0.0 for months without paying a single visit to empire. Ok so i went to empire some days in a taranis, you know instas after instas. I saw a hauler on the overview: mwd, aproach, lock f1f2f3f4f5 DIE DIE DIE. Died... It was a 0.6 system.

So I am still a newb... I was playing after a long night downtown, so I was quite drunk. I have just unlocked my first L2 agent, so I am doing a mission for him. He has me run a DNA sample somewhere... Fine, I hop in a shuttle and get over there. I come back and realize I had a lot of things I needed to reprocess from my previous mission. I lost my first cruiser due to accidentally clicking on the wrong thing to reprocess, then accidentally hitting OK instead of cancel.

I tried to help out a m8 in some pvp. I jumped the aggro gun and found myself unexpectantly under sentry fire... in an untanked frig.
Buddy of mine lost his blackbird when we were putzin around a station and he tried to ecm burst me.
