I was also annoyed with this even before the patch (on the test server hehe)
After thinking about it why not have ships drop a CAN if they have stuff, and a Wreck? Wouldnt be that bad and you could still see your wasteland around you as well as know where you have been so as to not go back through wrecks you have already visited or waste ammo on destroying them.
I especially hate it on a few agent missions where the cans were hard enouth to clean up because rats would keep spawning in. With wrecks not disapearing or changing + lack of ammo for my ships, really makes it a pain. I am putting off ratting/missions for a while but I do hope a hotfix is added to address this soon. Cool Idea, PITA Reality lol.
Pluss im not able to use a salvager yet.

I feel wrecks need a little tweaking; i was out running drone missions with a friend and i took a badger to pick-up the loot. Its annoying that after you empty 10 wrecks, you start to get confused about what wrecks have been looted and which ones havent.
I feel there should be some kind of icon change once the wreck has been looted just so you dont start tractoring stuff you have already emptied.

Originally by: Kichae Chandramani Hire someone to clean your wrecks up for you. Wrecks aren't there to give a free bonus to mission runners. They're there to give people something else to do. So, find someone else to do that part. Work out a deal: They'll drop the loot into a can for you, and they get to keep the salvage; or, they'll drop the loot and salvage into a can for you, and you'll drop iskies into their wallet.
Or go home. The rest of us still have the ball, and we're willing to run with it.
My plan was to have salvagers pay me for the rights to loot and salvage my wrecks on the missions I run. I get isk, and save time by not having to run around looting them
