To each their own. On a similar note to what I said before, this game is about keeping what you build and on the other hand it's about taking what you can take. If some silly builders come to 0.0 without grasping the concept of defence then they really should loose all their stuff. If you dont understand that then you can always head to Starwars galaxies, I hear it's impossible to ruin the nice towns the carebears build there. Outbreak was fighting quite well but at the end of Dice stay, we were pretty much pwning them. Were good fights, just don't talk about celes too much, coz they participated with 1-2 bs. -Do you realize we had only 2 corps at the time there, no capital ships etc? It was training and good one. For the umpteenth time, for the slower folk reading the forums: It was not "BoB" fighting against Outbreak in Fountain. We deliberately held our punches back and kept our numbers low. If the whole alliance would have been deployed, there would probably have been one fight and that's it. After that no fun for anyone. Fighting Outbreak served a purpose. They're good at what they do and served as a scrubbing tool to knock the crap and rust off us after a month of shooting smacktalking noobships in Syndicate. ------------------- -

If you can't deffend yourself, you are weak... at least ,weaker than your enemy... and IIRC Fountain Alliance was holding its ground for about 3 - 4 month... FA first lost Delve, than Fountain, slowly puting up less and less resistance... same happening to ASCN right now (ofc FA had NPC stations as well). And TBH.. ASCN will have no space at the end of January IMHO!.. just IMHO..

The same post we seen Molle make over and over again, not only in this conflict, but in others. As for ASCN, I can't really say I fought you guys recently, but my memories of of the CA/Xetic war are still fresh. All I can say is I have no sympathy for your current predicament. The war with CA was started when ATUK attacked you, and yet when ATUK left CA you teamed up with them and refused to back off or let up near the end. Then your war with the 5 started and those whom you previously served came and attacked you. Ironically, the corp that started the 5/Xetic war, Celestial Horizon, left Xetic and abandoned them. Then they came back with this new alliance, in much stronger position than they were under Xetic and able to run the tables more effectively. I have no love for BoB, but I am so satisfied that you have been humbled. I have co-worker who is x-ASCN and he summed it all up by saying "ASCN members are very rich, but everyone is worried about losing their ship". What good are numbers if you guys won't use your single advantage? Surely the BOB/ASCN forum warriors will take everything part line by line and inject nice tid bits of smack/criticism, rest assured I won't be reading. ----

Since the change in leadership in ASCN have you been subjected to daily posts on how bob exploits or hax or cheats? (Other then a few individual hotheads because every alliance has those types)

They did indeed keep their numbers low in order to give even fights. They tried to keep just two corporations in Fountain at the same time. We had a good time, largely due to this thoughtfulness on BoB's part. If they had blobbed us we would have had to slow down and move very carefully to give them the thrashing they deserved, with little room for error. I for one prefer the accelerated pace of having hard even fights rather than elaborate multiple stage warp in warp out fakes and ploys. Fights would have been less frequent and our campaign would have been over more quickly. BoB's conduct in Fountain during that campaign proves that they enjoy a good fight. They toed the line and walked the walk just as much as Outbreak did and all the fun we had while we were there would not have been possible without them. Our successes in fleet combat against BoB are due to our coordination with CELES, who fielded far more than '1-2' BS.
