Effective immediately, I wish to announce my formal resignation from the post of Public Relations Representative for the New Venal Alliance (NVA).
I henceforth disassociate all future comment, analysis, opinion, conjecture, rhetoric and misc. communication from the interests and responsibility of the New Venal Alliance.
From this point forward my voice is my own, and until I take another professional Public Relations role with a formal political entity, it is my intention speak without let or hinderence on such issues that might amuse and divert me without heed of allied consequence.
Of the reasons for my resignation I will say only this; that it had become clear that my many enemies and stalkers in the sphere of public debate were making practical disemination of useful information near impossible.
Such indeed is the hatred of my face and voice in some quarters that any words I spoke were immediately drowned out by racous cries of brute antithesis.
Not, I think you will agree, either an enviable or indeed viable situation.
My new independence will afford possibilies however, and in the days to come you may be sure I will consider my options most carefully.
I wish all the best of course to the New Venal Alliance and the corps so joined in glorous camaraderie against the encroaching darkness.
It is meet and fitting both that such a bold company of heroes should survive the birthing hands of its founders ... how else that the dream of freedom wrought in blood and sacrifice be passed from past to future and the promise of brighter times to come?
So I say,
Long live the NVA!

The NVA is losing one of the best linguists in EVE, if not THE best, as their spokes-person.
But let us please know who the new representative/contact person for the NVA will be.

Of the many who post in these forums, there are some who stand out, and you are one of them. So don't keep too quiet in your retirement

This is truly a sad day for the New Venal Alliance. It appears that our public voice, defender, and (unfortunately) target has finnaly sucumbed to the pressures of that easily scrutinized and critisized position. A position that is not only public relations, but the public defence of the very cause that is the protection of our homes. And Jade has practically written the book on how to do this. I am sure that allies and enemies alike would vote Jade as the most dedicated, well written and politically savy alliance representative EVE has ever seen.

The voice of an organization is often targeted for its faults, and it is hard not to take them personally on some level. Especially when your personna is SO linked to that very organization. I also know that the foes of the NVA are some of the most vocal and inflamatory people in EVE. For your feverish devotion to the NVA and its pricepals, we all owe you a debt of gratitude.
Personal note:
When I informed Oberon members that we were considering joining the NVA, most could not tell me what direction Venal was, but they all knew about Jade Constantine. The common responses i recieved were "Cool, that's the alliance with Jade, huh? I really enjoy reading her posts. Best stuff on the forums."
Jade, I wish you the best of luck on any endeavor you may turn your attention to.

Sad day for the NVA... Anyway a proof that the NVA is really a democratic entity since it can change its leader.
Now there is the big question: who will replace Jade ? Only a few persons have jade's linguist talents in NVA...

I should point out that I only ever represented the NVA in public relations, alliance negotiation and as a single point of contact for press relations and such. I was never the leader of the NVA whether elected or otherwise.
It was my honour and my pleasure to speak for this bright assembly of comrades-at-arms for a time.
That was glory enough for a mere mortal to endure milady!

I know monsieur Cuisinart, I too wept a quiet tear myself in the dark hours before stationdawn in Gehi system; but all things must change and all bright memories come to a close if we are not to stagnate and become mere parodies of the dreams we once held dear.
My personal name and cause and dreams had become a zealous brand to unify the strange conjoined cousins of the foresaken empire in hatred at the alliance I loved so well.
So great my reputation and infamy it seemed, that callow ghosts of men departed were constant-raised from obscurity to rail anew at all my works and faith besides.
And pitiful display, the work of presentation amidst the cloying crowds of grave-damp hecklers of shallow wit and means lacklustre ... a mundane comedy of farce betimes, and spectacle of limited interest if truth be told full-unadorned without professional reprise monsieur.
So to future works and independence from NVA name m'dear; be full assur'd I'll not soon depart nor spare the crop of quick derision darting thence and there again to redden the buttocks of wayward mooncalf fools from time to time.
'Tis oft the case that perseptive thence will reveal surprising avenues of fine potential and true sensual rarified delight.
To the future not the past I'd bide thee fine Sir ... a new day and evolving chart of delicate political evolution set fast opon the map of stars and hopes of heart and ravishment combined!

To answer, its partly an appreciation of the fact that too many voices raised in constant idiot declamation can always drown out the bravest of solitary epiphets ... and also, an admission that mud does stick, and that if a hundred false accusations are made some will doubtless to be seen to be true regardless of merit.
But beyond m'dear, if I am honest, I must admit that restraint is not my natural state of mind, and I am a passionate and outspoken individual and to be silenced even by devotion to a cause, is to be imprisoned and gagged to mute frustration and abandonment of heart-close principle and fondest personal regard.
I have been a slave and object 'prisoned servant to other thoughts and lusts and hard designs in times before milady, and never again, for truly spoken this, if naught besides; that once a soul has stepped through strange dimensions as a spirit on the path of stars ... there is no going back.
Once in Venal I spoke of "owner-captains" fast united in broad desire for freedom far-unchecked and worthy bold adventure.
Those thoughts impell me yet as once they did, and faster now the urge to speak and laugh and dream and close embrace those wondrous pleasures of thought and flesh and forthright far refrain.
I cannot be silenced milady, it is not in my nature.
I am at heart an contrary soul, and to be commanded is to be chained, and what spark besides to trigger bright flame of joyous revolution?

Greetings Lady Jade Constantine,
I must say stepping down from the position which you held with no real competition is a bold and wise move on your part. Allthough I have to agree with the others in that your presence in that arena will be missed.
Would just like to say that you did your alliance and this fellow gallentian honor with your ever elegant and proper conduct at least for most of the times. Which is more then you can really ask from a true citizen of the Gallente Federation.
When looking back at your accomplishments you should feel nothing but pride. And this includes the attemptes to discredit you as well. Some show their hate and dislikes of you with a passion some even openly admits it. But as you already pointed out. This are usally from people that already lost and in their lack of sportmanship and better judgement they cater to thier bruised ego and continue and feed their hatred to compensate for their low self esteem. This are usally the one's who uses foul language and threats all aimed to your person. This to me is nothing more then a show of defeat. To lose once cool to the point were all you are capable of is foul words and personal attacks and threats is nothing more then a show of defeat. Which I have seen many examples of.
And then we have another group. A smaller one granted but never the less deserves to be part of your accomplishments of foes who have done nothing else but proven that they are still apprentices in the Arena which you have mastered. They tend to look deeper into your public made actions and speeces and read things I am sure does not even exists. To use as a topic for their socalled "debate". The fact that they have to point out their "RL" occupance and other RL related topics is to me a show of their total lack of skills in properly conducting a discussion to bring the majority of the readers to see their reasoning. By including that they are real life History Experts, Accountants, Directors and so on is just another show of their inability to give their own arguments the strength to stand on its own. But their persistance and continuing actions to open a discussion with you with past events should show you that they consider you a worthy opponent. And they seek to gain your aknowledgement of them as worthy adversaries in your arena. This are usally the type of people who also suffers from low self esteem and who either dont know or choose to ignore that fact. People who usally are well educated and bright but left with a flaw that they need to state that to everyone else and who takes it badly when people "fail" to see this.
Just the 2 isks from a regular grunt whos words are just as simple as the man behind it.

I have been on holiday in Gehi all week hoping to catch a glimpse of an elusive fellow who ordered out for a spanking...
That said in the light of recent events elsewhere in eve, I might take a while to do a little sightseeing.
I've a mind to revisit some of the carefree days of freelance guerilla psyops and public relations consultancy.
