Right click locations got fixed yes.
And yes the doubled pos fuel bay works. |

Damn, all windows are resets even I did restored my old core_user_*.dat files. Dear CCP do you think I will set every single window on all my 5 accounts again?
BTW you didn't fix that overview window move at top client window, when I have overview snaped to selected items window and I do minimize selected window. Snaped windows should stay in position. Snap should be done only on resizing and setting up windows.
I wish you instead of reseting windows should enable to set transparency for pinned windows to be defined at user need not fully transparent. |

Same problem. Now Running Repair tool. Repair tool wanted updating to newer version. Repair patch 110Mb. Will update once repaired.

Yah, was for me, I had all optional patchs installed too. I can't go in to check the build number I was working from, as I'm now running the repair patch, but afaik it was the most recent build with optional patches. Worked fine before DT.
To confirm, Repair tool works, and i'm now on build Version: 7.20.326279.
I think the XP problem occured with the patching tool itself. It crashed once it started downloading the patch proper. |

- logged in in station, entered ESC menu to change colours etc, on exiting back to station view, chat window has disappeared, only way to make it reappear, quit game and log in again.
- entered space, when redocked at station, cargo and chat windows jump half way up the screen, tried pinned and unpinned, still does it everytime i dock. |

Started client-> got the popup to download the patch. Patch downloads succesfully. I execute the downloaded file, and I get the message "Target payload not found", patching process hangs.
I go to the Eve website to download the patch from there. Executing that gives me a error about the python.dll file being corrupt. Repair tool just fails with a message about not being able to connect. Now downloading the full client again... Win7, 64 bit. |

It seems there is an issue with building remotely from BPOs. You will get told - Not sufficient runs - which of course is nonsense. Docking in the right station will allow you to do it but that seems a bit counterproductive. |

Same problem as the first guy (my windows have been resized etc etc... not a major problem..) I run linux tho :) And for you guys that cant download the patch install it manually (go to downloads then patches and select the ones u want and then just run it) :)

Have noticed a significant increase in unexplained disconnects from server, running multiple clients on stable platforms. Seems to be a random but increasingly common happening. Have tried multiple computers, running smaller groups, random DC seems to be random, but increasingly frustrating. |

Info - as to my patching.
Downloaded patch and ran - failed - listing a load of error messages. It suggested to run the repair tool. Tried to run repair tool and it needed to d/l the latest version which it did. Tried to run it and it said something along the lnes of "program eve.exe is already running - stop this program then run repair tool"
Checking computer did not show any Eve program running so I shutdown and restarted compuer.
Tried to log into Eve and it worked fine.

Have the same problem of not being able to run EVE anymore after patch was installed and getting a message saying that verification failed for lots of files: exefile.exe, _ctypes.pyd, _vivox.dll, etc. I ran repair.exe from the default directory (program files(x86)/ccp/eve). Nothing happened, still same error message when trying to start eve. Dowloaded the patch and tried to apply it manually. Got the message "Eve online update 323364 -> 326279 Setup: The installed client is already compatible with the build number in this update file (326279). Please select another folder.
What to do now? If the sollution is to reinstall what do I have to do in order to keep all the ingame settings, as it seems that first I have either to uninstall Eve either to select another installation directory.
Regards.
One more thing. Noticed now that repair.exe dissapeared from the default directory.
Forgot: Windows 7 Ultimate / 64 bit |

I am on the pc client and have the same issue, we should not have to keep on changing our window settings every time you come out with a patch. |

Have the same problem... downloaded the latest patch, instaled fine, but now when i try to start the client I get 10 validation failures, e.g. "Verrification failed 'C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE\bin\ExeFile.exe', crc:20a3c69d, expected:49f5ed7a."
Running windows xp 32 bit... Never had a problem until now. I tryed manually installing the patch but it was adament that the build numbers were the same and wouldn't patch.
Repair tool tryed twice; both times if failed after downloading... Seemed to have lots of missing blocks during the diagnostic though.
I'm gonna try reinstalling the client... :( |

You seem to have royally bloody well routed the install for me.
Again.
This is the third time this has happened since crucibles release including crucible itself and the two patches since, every time I have wasted time and valuable bandwidth first attempting to repair which fails so consistently it would make the rising sun blush before finally resorting to downloading and installing the whole bloody thing again through the two bits of copper wire that connect me to the world. I've already had to pull an all-nighter to re-install the bloody game as to not miss skill training swapping and to be quite frank it is killing Eve for me. Bandwidth is not unlimited here, not with my ISP and I am certainly not willing to switch providers to pay more money than I am willing to fork out.
My question is who can I talk to to ensure that this stops happening, or better yet find out why it happens so it can be prevented for myself and others in the future so I won't have to unsubscribe and find something else that doesn't make my house-mates want to murder me for "whoring all the internet."
I want this issue resolved, done with, finis or I am. |

I have this exact same problem, using windows xp 32 bit. The first ingame patch failed near the end and I have tried the repair tool, the generic patcher, both close with errors near the end. Eve will not launch and specifies certain files are missing or corrupt. I have uninstalled and am downloading the full client install. |

Our corp has several individuals at +10. Our POCOs are set to allow access for +10's. Those individuals are in corps towards which we have no standings set. Those characters cannot access our POCOs, because their access level is based on the 'no standings' at which their corp is set. |

Patch download and install on laptop (Win 7 Pre 64) has gone fine.
However it looks like the windows reset was needed because we now have windows settings per character not per client as before. So for all you multi char people even more windows to reset . |

Again i had a problem installing a crucible patch.
Ever since crucible was released the ingame patcher/repair tool do not work properly.
This time i got the new version dialog box as expected and let it do it's thing like i have for all previous patches.
After downloading the patch (60MB) it was installed, apparently with no problems but when i tried to start the eve client i was presented with the verification error screen and told to run repair.exe (tbh i wasn't suprised)
When i ran the repair tool i was told it needed updating which i did, even the repait tool update did not install correctly at first because 'C:\\Program Files\\CCP\\EVE\\bin\\ExeFile.exe' was still running in the background (why is this still running when eve is closed??) I had to find it in task manager and manually end the process.
After running the updated repair tool it started downloading the repair patch, this time it was 100.13MB (how can the repair patch be bigger than the original patch it was repairing?)
This patch did install correctly but from reading the above comments it is certain that it would have failed because ExeFile.exe was still running.
I have had problems installing with all 3 main crucible patches and by the looks of it i am not the only one.
I am running windows 7 Home premium (64bit). Before the patch the client was fully up to date and installed in the default directory.

The only "issue" I can find date on first day of Crucible and it's that if you have an item with a long name in your cargo and that item at the very bottom just beside the down border of the screen, the border will cut part of the font. If you resize the window, the window will scale and cut the font exactly the same way. |

Downloaded the latest patch today, about 20 minutes ago. After downloading the patch I now get an error message at the log in screen. It's not so much an error message as it is just an error, but at the log in screen it now says:
no label: UI/login/EULA/EveEULAheader
no label: UI/login/EULA/ThirdPartyEULAHeader
and then it continues from there telling me there are "No LABELS" for the other things that should be appearing on the log in screen. I cannot scroll to the bottom to accept the EULA agreement, as no text shows, and there is nothing for me to 'click' on in the log in screen now. I've searched the forums but did not find anyone at the moment who is having the same issue.
I also tried to access the settings screen by hitting ESC at the log in screen but this did not work either. So I cannot empty the cache by that means there. Anyone know what's going on? Little help please! |

Can you try running the Repair Tool? It looks like you're somehow missing the language data, which the Repair Tool should fix. Software Engineer, Core Infrastructure |

I did not run the Repair Tool, but rather simply restarted the computer and I'm able to access the game now, so problem fixed! Thanks for the help! |

For the 1.0.2 patch, the need to REDO EVERY CHARACTER'S WINDOWS SETTINGS is bordering on the **** off level. Infact, you're threading on thin ice here. Do it one more time, I can almost guarantee a never ending uproar.
Please revert it back to the per account setting as per 1.0.1. I don't need to stress how annoying it is to redo 3 characters' windows settings per account.

Station containers and cargo containers still only remember the last position and size any one of them was opened. So a Giant container for example set small and near the cargo hold instantly forgets that when you open a station container and reposition it bigger to see all the contents. The next time you open the Giant......yeah you get it, it assumes the size and position of the station container. Totally useless.
My Tengu still flies backwards.
Both issues petitioned but nothing done despite CCP ABRAXAS stating you were addressing at least the container part. There was no comment on the tengu issue, it was ignored......like so much else on here. |

Actually, having different settings per char may have lots of sense. Providing the settings will persist once set.

module cycle indicator completely FUBAR....there is no uniform start/stop position for mods meaning you havent a clue wether your starting, finishing or in the middle of a cycle......viewing the mod as a clockface, sometimes it starts at 6 and finishes at 11, starts at 11 and finishes at 6, starts at 9 and finishes at 3 etc etc. |

Yes and no. Yes if your character do different things (needing radically different windows arrangements), and no if your characters do *similar* things which overlaps - where having the same windows arrangement e.g. market window arranged the same way, OV and etc. is preferred.
Critically, the old scheme based on per account settings wasn't broken.
I've yet to hear direct from the horse's mouth their reasoning for such a change. Especially, I'd like to hear how they will go about addressing the obvious issues that this will create in the future. This change is tantamount to breaking one thing to fix another, for the worse.

The market export txt logs are still not corrected.
There is still a NULL char for each number in the date/time for each item.
For example the date that should be 2011-12-14 shows a 2NULL0NULL1NULL1NULL and so on.
I reported this before Crucible 1.0.1 patch but it' still remains after 1.0.2 |

After Crucible patch containers doesn't work anymore.
(Windows, PC)
I mean, containers doesn't recognize own place and size. Before patch:
- If you open container in station and set position and place - it open next time in this place and position - if you set up next container place and position - it open in this place and position always - if you set up place and position for next container, all containers will be open in this place and size, but containers which have different pozition and size, will be open in own place and size.
After patch: - if you open container and set position and size - all next containers, cargoholds will be open in this place and size !!! - if you try to set different position and size - all cargoholds and containers will open in this new place and size and do not recognize place and size which you set to them before.
Especcially this annoing if you open station container in station on half of the screen to select some items, and after this you undock and try to open cargohold - your cargohold will open on half of the screen and hide your overview, all chat windows and everything. Very youseful in PvP.
Thank you CCP for this, now you work like you did it before and you only crash things which was repaired of work normally before new patch. |

Seriously, 99 out of 100 times, this **** happens. The screen goes black, flicks and recovers after 3 seconds with the accompanying windows message.
This started with INCARNA, and despite posting about it, bug reporting it and all, it was kept alive until Crucible 1.0.0 when it was finally removed.
BUT AFTER THIS PATCH I GET BUG AGAIN. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
W7 x64, i5, Intel graphics (laptop) with perfectly updated drivers for everything. |

Got mine working. That download is never gonna load. I did a manual patch from http://www.eveonline.com/patches/patches.asp
Just make sure you follow the instructions and find the right Eve files on your drive..

Same issues with crucible 1.0.2 as with 1.0.0 (none of these seen before crucible):
Login screen FPS down to less than 1% of what it was (from >120 to <1). EULA screen popping up at said FPS, being almost impossible to scroll down. According to end of EULA it was not changed, so re-accepting it is pointless. 3rd-party EULA does not show itself at all.
Ingame FPS normal. Window positions reset again :-( |

Same problem only I do see the video driver stopped responding message. Same as Master Akira, had the problem pre-Crucible, went away with Crucible release and is back after the update today. Please fix this as I also used to get random crashes on undock or jump (roughly every third or fourth jump or undock) and if that is back...
Warp to + jump did not work on the few jumps i tried. Warp to + dock works.

Using windows 7, on loading the game my graphics card freezes and restarts, and the same thing happens every time I undock or jump through a gate. This was happening with incarna, was fixed with the advent of crucible and has now returned with the latest patch. Eventually, after a while of doing this, I just black screen and have to reboot my totally unresponsive laptop.

You can *manually* propagate the settings of one account (or even char now) by copying an renaming the settings file. It won't be 100% perfect, but it's definitely less painful. However, by large this sort of hack isn't known to the average player. It's more or less unofficial since you don't want to encourage players to archive their settings and then carry them over to a new patches for fear of any unintended effects/code reaction. |

Went to update from the most recent version to this version and am getting the same issue this guy gets.
Except when I tried to run the repair.exe. The repair disappeared from the file and was replaced with repair.exe_afibzr which can't be ran.
Edit.....I got it to work, but I had to go into my file for the test server and copy the repair.exe over to my main folder. Then I had to go into my task manager and end the process for one of the .exe for the repair to work. |

I am getting the same thing using WinXP x64 multi partition. I can update EvE from another partition and EvE will then run on the WinXP x64 partition. I get the same error if I try to run the SiSi launcher:

As I posted earlier in this thread. Windows settings are stored per char base not per account base. I have 6 accounts and I did manage my settings by setting windows (basicaly everything including settings for overview) on one account and then cloning core_user_(acount-id).dat to other account_ids.
I have no idea what smart programer did decide that windows settings could be moved to character core_char_(character-id).dat file, and leave rest settings like short-cuts, overview tabs and other settings as well in core_user_(acount-id).dat. I think it is accindent, because if it was planned it should be in patch notes and other settings would be moved as well. In this patch only windows settings did move to per-character settings file.
BTW: CCP you should in next patch if you decide move these settings, make some automatic migration or you will have really pissedoff EVE comunity. We aren't trained monkey for moving windows all around on all characters. It cost me yesterday over 4 hours to setup all back even I use trick with cloning!

W7 x64, i5, Intel graphics (laptop) with perfectly updated drivers for everything. Same problem only I do not see the video driver stopped responding message. Same as Master Akira, had the problem pre-Crucible, went away with Crucible release and is back after the update today. Please fix this as I also used to get random crashes on undock or jump (roughly every third or fourth jump or undock) and if that is back... Warp to + jump did not work on the few jumps i tried. Warp to + dock works. w7 x64, I3, Intel graphics desktop, drivers are up to date

When using "show info" on anything a smallish window opens in the top left hand corner. This is not big enough to see much detail.
Before cruicible, the window could be moved and resized and would retain those setings.
Now, if you close the window and "show info" on something else, the windows reopens back in the top left hand corner and with the same size. |

I'm sorry that this hasn't been communicated earlier, the window settings were supposed to be migrated from user settings to character settings, but due to a small but nasty bug they got cleared after the migration. This was fixed in today's update, so any characters logging in after today's downtime should get their window settings properly carried over. |

I second that. The in-game bug report form is horrible for 2 reasons.
1. Don't ask for a password in a feedback form, it's not cool. I realize it's a dirty hack that simply sends data to the web front end, but still never ask for a password.
2. When sending the request it seems the form is making a blocking network call. The client locks up completely until the data has been submitted. Very, very uncool.
In the current state the in game browser would do a better job of filing bug reports. |

I have problems with sound, ming lasers are extremely loud, Q.T.Sound doesn't help, need to zoom way out. and sound gets stuck, after lasers is of, only re-logon helps.
also sound problems with salvager and tractor, can get same after sound AND it contagious, fleet members can get my tractor and salv sound ringing after I turned it of and warping of 4 them dosen't help , only re-logon helps.
And have to ad to the issu of resetting windows, plz fix a "keep my settings" function, HARD when U cust. a lot

Applied today's patch, restored a copy of settings directory from Crucible 1.0.1 and everything is where I left it.
Glad I backed up before applying 1.0.2 yesterday.
Allowing us to export all settings would save us a lot of trouble. Please support: export of settings in editable format

post-update, two observations:
1) my chat window tabs retain their "on" state when they should be blinking off and on with new chat content. This has been experienced on one character.
2) my helios's speedometer has gone blank with no speed reflected. The mouse-over generated speed numbers do pop-up.

My researched BPO for Fuel blocks is requiring the same materials as an unresearched BPO when manufactured. That's kinda bad since I just started a **** ton of runs. On the bright side, my Scourge missile invented BPC's are using materials based on 0 ME instead of -4 ME. Did not put a bug report in, as I hear the bug report tool is crashing some clients. I don't know where to find it anyway.
Good time to get those t-2 BPC's running I suppose. LOL

Now I didnt try with other modules/ships but with my Noctis I lock a target and then unlok and I get this lo9ud sound as when the salvaget ends its task.

CCP's development methodology and crack QA team pushes out as much junk as there are additional features or changes to the EVE service.
You should be numb by now to the blatant (and undocumented) bugs'n'****.

Anyone experiencing this, can you please file an in-game bug report with the subject "Video driver has stopped responding". We are actively investigating, and the more information we get the better

I'm running win 7. After the patch yesterday, my client freezes after roughly 20-30 minutes. It doesn't matter if I'm in space, docked or doing missions. It happend 5 times last night. I've had problems like this before while running on a wireless connection. But since I upgraded to WIN 7 and a new computer via cable, no problems, until yesterday.
Also, the rep cycle animation starts at roughy 12 o'clock and not from 0. It makes the cycling impossible since it's not accurate. After one and a half cycle, the timing is correct. But by then, you're out of sync and you need to stop the 2nd repper. And start again. |

My client has 'update/refresh' problems:
1) I do not see other players in corp or player channels anymore (looks empty) Workaround: This only gets updated if another player signs on/off
2) When i move stuff from 'items' to corp hangar , the 'items' folder does not get updated. Workaround: switch between 'icons' and 'items'
Also a complete restart of the client helps for a while as well.
(I have not found a way to reproduce, "it just starts misbehaving" )

I can confirm this one too. At first login and after everything was supposedly loaded, all my chat channels would be empty without even me on them, even if they are set to "immediate". Switching between channels force them to refresh tho. |

Using Windows 7 x64, Intel i5 and ATI 6770.

So the crucible patch 1.0.0 when it first came out fixed the intel graphic card failure, however since the 1.0.2 patch it has caused this problem to happen again...
Problem: Jump gate / undock = Gfx card to fail and black screens and freezes then comes back.
you MUST have an integrated Intel chip to reproduce this. (and for those of you haters, i can run 5X clients at the same time and still not break 60 C so its not the card over heating)
I have latest drivers / tested on the test server, and still the same problem. - Client start-up - undocking - jumping systems - worm holes

- Pinned windows do not pin. They do as long as I stay in the same ship and don't enter or exit a station or join or quit a fleet. Chaning to another ship or entering a station, or joining a fleet causes them to restack in any order they choose, most usually with the cargo window below the chat window but not always. They do not remember from ship to ship. Loading ship A, setting it's windows, then loading ship B and setting it's windows, will still need to set ship A again when reloading.
- Windows autostacking regardless of pinning state, "only stack windows if shift pressed" state, "try to use existing window if any" state, and "lock windows when pinned" state.
- Fitting management window, the one you get when clicking on a linked fit from chat, only ever opens in the center of the screen and only high enough to show the first 5 mods, never wide enough to show the full names of the mods. Regardless of resizing and pinning state. Even if opening the same fit twice in a row.
- Everything, and I mean everything, is slower in a wormhole now. Opening the fitting screen, hanger, cargo bay, contacts list, info window, chatting... you name it. (With the sole exception being fitting mods which has been sped up greatly.) When I say slower I mean that things have a tendancy to strobe somewhat. Like you can see them working or the frame rate is suffering. |

I make every attempt to use chat windows to initiate trades (safer than a mis-click on a fast-scrolling station roster in trade hubs). BUT I cannot honestly say which character I have used to initiate trades in the past when clicking w/in a chat window.
Also, all I can say is that this is the first time that I have experienced this issue (w/the latest version of Crucible). Others may have different experiences, of course.

I don't think it's related to the station list, but I have encountered it as well. I think this is a new issue with 1.0.2. Correct, this is a new issue, and unrelated to station lists. A workaround is to switch tabs or resize the chat window, that will trigger a refresh of the member list. I'm hoping we'll get a fix for this out before Christmas. |

Before crucible I could have different container windows open in different locations on screen & each remembered where the previous one had opened, except cargoholds, which learnt after being opened once. So I could have my cargohold & it's cans opened at the top left, loot containers right of that & station containers on the right, now every loot container opens as a tab in the existing container window, so if I have a window at the top left open they open in that, or if there's no window open they open in the position of the last open container. I would like them to remember the last location they were opened, & not get reset by a patch or just changing ship/hanger.
I'd like to be able to to import all settings from the first character I fix, rather than having to fix every setting 1 character at a time, or better yet not have the existing settings reset every other week, while we alpha test new patches...
Also can you update the code so that reading the EULA is only required when you change the EULA, not every 1bit patch!
The Skills Queue window doesnt remember previous settings and when trying to drag the centre bar to widen the left side, it freaks out and opens with at least half of the window off-screen to the left, requiring a drop the window and start again.
& finally can we have 'enter the percent' or 1% incrememnts on the font scaling - I'd like the option of about 95% rather than 100% or 90% |

Unless you include what type of system you are using or a bug report number in your post. You make it realy hard to reproduce. Devs are going to work on issues they can reproduce before they spend time trying to recreate issues like those described in the above quote.
My guess you are having memory or internet issues. Session changes from system to system is not processing as fast as intended. But it is just a wild guess. Uses the new in game bug reporting system under the F12 menu. It auto reports all the important information needed for bug hunters and devs to reproduce your issue. |

On my Rorqual, when deployed, there are no lines to do compression. I am not the only one in my corp to have this problem. I activate the industrial core, with the required materials and blueprints in my hold and I try to find the manufacturing line to do the compression, making sure the filters are correct and nothing shows up on that page to select. I have removed the industrial core and replaced to see if that would help, it didn't. I cleared my cache and that didn't help either.
I know of at least two in my corp who have this problem, but I haven't seen it mentioned.
I opened a petition on Dec. 10th and updated it on the 18th, but there has been no reply.
Please fix.

Not sure if this is a new bug, or if something that was not working correctly before crucible is now working as intended. Cloaking device reactivation delays now seem to be preserved over session changes/system jumps.
Previous to Crucible: Warp to gate cloaked. Arrive at gate and get decloaked by gate. Immediately jump. Upon loading the new grid, I could immediately warp and cloak again.
Now: Warp to gate cloaked. Get decloaked by gate. Immediately jump. Upon loading grid, warp and try to cloak. Now I get a cloaking device reactivation delay message and do not cloak.
It happens every time and is easily reproduceable. I never used to get this message or delay timer before Crucible. Now I do. I know there was work done on session change timers. But I don't recall any changes to the cloaking reactivation timers in the patch notes.
Can a Dev confirm/deny that the cloaking device reactivations timers now carry over session changes / system jumps? "How do you kill that which has no life?" |

Still can't see distance on bookmarks, glad to hear this has finally been looked at though. Somewhere around Dominion this feature just disappeared like it never existed and no one I asked could even remember it. While you're looking at the solar system map could you please have a look at the beacons which represent wormholes you've been on-grid with, they cover up their own bookmarks making it impossible to read them or click on them. Also those little black labels for things such as "Unstable Wormhole" and anomaly names can get in the way of clicking on your probes, bookmarks or seeing scan results that may be behind/under them. Have the bookmarks also stay opaque after scan probes are launched so that they're not almost impossible to see against the even darker than before "sci-fi" solar map background, this is how it was before in apocrypha and dominion broke it or it was just changed without patch notes. A fine start trying to fix the distance thing on bookmarks, if more old issues like that get fixed soon it will be a very happy new year. |

Biggest bugbear for me at the moment is every time I dock, my chat windows jump halfway up the left side of the screen. If I also have a cargo hold window open and above it before I dock it jumps down under the chat window.
Second bug is every time I open a container from the right station services list it opens in a new tab of any already open window (usually an already open container window, but has happened with an open cargo hold window as well).

I'll have a go at trying to reproduce again (post Crucible 1.0.3). I'll also try it with a couple different variations, such as waiting for session change timer to expire and anything else I can think of.
