Hope no-one minds another thread to continue discussions of the fights around the FATAL outpost.
This continues to be a high point of my eve time thus far.
POS lag was bad but nothing like so bad as before and I could at least lock and get some shots off.
Having had LV last weekend it seems this weekends special guest stars for FATAL are 0utbreak (omg!!!) and as ever they were very professional and effective (even if they are now full of E-R nubs  ).
We had a definite lack of tacklers last night which cost us a lot of kills with people warping out in structure (damn HP changes makin alpha strikes very hard to achieve :p) but it was still a ton of fun.
For those that like to know how things were progressing our forces lost 2 dreads assaulting the POS, which was put into reinforced.
From a tactical position, the main problem for me is still the POS lag issue. You cannot remain at the POS to protect the capitals because it completely lags them out but at the same time it takes so long to load and get to them that they are left pretty vulnerable when there is a large force in system

Nice write up.
You need to put a Dev / GM in charge of your Dreads, that way they get there quicker, no lag and they dont blow up. Apparently its quite a tried and tested solution.

yup last nite was an ok fight the lag was less than in the previous engagments but still had an effect.
i think all things considered fatal are doing very well 2 pos in reinforced for 6 capital ship kills not bad considering the forces arrayed against us

Can I remind you that we have killed one of your large POS in system, but due to Chow comeing along and DDing our fleet we were unable to get our own large POS in place.

Yes, the count is 5 in reinforced, 1 down (but replaced by friendly ;), 2 left to survive, 2 coming up.
Good fighting all over and no smack or sillyness by people forgetting its a game.

true but the mission statment you guys have been pitching from the start is to take our outpost to do that you need to get your own poses up in this regard we atm have 2 pos in reinforced for your loss of 6 cap ships
still if you guys want to keep popping our poses and letting us rebuild them its all good poses are easier to replace than dreads or carriers

Well played Fatal, makes it interesting to see outbreak getting involved properly with napping the likes of BOB/MC/LV/FATAL now. That's abit of a scary powerbloc right there :)

I saw at least 30 Frig sized support on your side ... wish we could have such "low" numbers.
Was a good night, alot of fun and the laag wasnt that bad for such big fights.

Yeah but a lot of those were in AFs and slower ships so unable to get out to you and those that did get out to your ships got instapopped by your CBC and HACS, so we definetly had too few tacklers even if we had quite a few.

It's true I play eve with no underwear because the Aeon is hot.
Gotta say the highlight was waiting to get the dreads clear of the pos and sit there tanking you lot. My god hardly any lag and a plethora of targets for me. Pity I got told to leave system. See you later guys o/

Another weekend ahead of us.... I have to wish both sides good luck, and we'll see what happens over the weekend.
It's been an expensive campaign, as I'm sure everybody can see. Some of our losses have been avoidable, those lessons are worth paying for, but some are just the currency that needs to be spent in any major conflict in Eve these days. The titan striking at exactly the wrong time was a major blow for us. But our resolve is not diminished, and just because BoB might be in the area, and 0utbreaks contract has been changed, don't expect us to turtle up.
