Nooooo, don't mention frozen bodies. If Konk hears of this....you don't want to know what he does with them.

On a more serious note, fighting has been mucho fun, and this night the lag was pretty good for me. Still lost 2 ships, but thats because I am crazy.

Then the real fun begins.
80% or better resists across the board, and 320k worth of shields = takes a beating. :)

My heart skipped a couple and I was like "uh... I think im primary" Kudos to my fleet for keeping them off me.
It might surprise you to hear Turin, that you sounded completely and utterly calm. I was expecting at least some OMFGWTFBBQ THEYRE NOSSING ME GET THEM OFF! But your bottle didn't crash, despite having 2bil+ ISK sitting in space getting blasted :)

The correct answer on the name for your NAP Bloc is "New Regions Coalition" or NRC.
It is short, to the point, and works.
It also makes my blood boil, so it does its job.

It's all about trust.
We trust in our friends, you trust in yours. Nothing wrong here.
But look at it this way, did we go in and try to take over another Alliance space? No, we slaved away in the only area of space not yet taken. For a PvP Alliance building an outpost was quite an undertaking as I'm sure even the industrial players among you would appreciate.
Yes we have been roaming in Ka-tet and X-pact at times, but only for ônormalö fleet engagements. POS wars are not my love for eve. I can't blame the enemy to blob up thats unfortunately the only way eve is playing right now and thats down to CCP to possible solve, not you or me.
We had put forward a simple and strait forward proposal, you stay in your space, we will stay out of yours. We claim one constellation, not even a region, although we do need to be able to fly to empire and back etc. I have had nice convos with KA-TET leaders, told them that above and also we are not a staging ground for some mass assault.
This has been a friendly thread and respectful too, and I hope it stays that way, but at the end of the day what you are doing to us by continuing to drag more and more Alliances and people to the fight is hardly nice or a fair fight or a ôgfö. Yes we are not giving up and it would be a lot cheaper for you (and us) if you just build your own outpost in the constellation next door.
At the end of the day it's a question of trusting our/my word. Friendship is something that comes over time, not by a flick of a switch.

This is exactly why the war is going on. if dice or lv had come to fatal saying "hey guys we need to attack {enemy a} let us use your op as a staging ground" the above quote shows what the answer would be. no one thinks that you are lv/dice slaves..but you are their friends and as such would allow them to stage from your op. Which is obviously a security risk for those living in the new regions for the following reason 1) enemy a could be one of the alliances living in the new regions 2) enemy a could be a close ally to one of the alliances living in the new regions 3) it would bring the war to the new regions.
and it is this reason which has lead us down this road. Many of us have had less than pleasurable dealings with both lv and dice...and dont want to have a possible staging ground next door, you can say that it wouldnt of happned but the answers your guys have posted here showed that if a request was made...it would of been a very real threat.
But having said that FATAL so far have been among the best enemies i have seen in the past 26 months, and it would of been a honour, no matter how unlikley it is to happen to fly with them. Anyhow having said that im glad this will be a drawn out war as im working nights for the next 6 days :D (and i personaly welcome any fatal dude who wants to make life hard for our caerbears in the months to come)

Originally by: sophisticatedlimabean your right you dont understand what im sayin. the justification ive heard for this fight was the fact that we didnt nap with the entire region and we have mates in a bob corp plus we left lv and may still be friendly with them.
Just a clarification, since there seems to be some misunderstandings about this.
The problem wasn't that you weren't NAP'd with the rest of the region, nor was it the fact you have mates in BoB or were former LV. XPact and FREGE continue to pew pew each other, and we don't care. Both RAM and AWM fought with LV before forming Ka-Tet. AWM was with BoB in the begining, working with them in Tenal and Branch during the GNW. AWM even has former It had to do entirely with geopolitical development, and those former points were a factor.
First things first. FATAL has ties with DICE, are friends with them, had their alliance formed with them, and flew in combat gangs with them. Unfortunately, DICE are part of BoB, and there was no way for us to guarantee that you wouldn't allow DICE or the rest of BoB to base out of your station. That presented a maor strategic liability - it would allow BoB to hit RA from the rear into Cache, or push north into D2/IRON space. Either one would bring that war to our doorstep, which we didn't want.
Secondly was your association with LV. AWM fought with LV while we were part of KOS, and based on our experiences then there was no way we wanted the main LV corporations to have a home out in the new Kali regions. FATAL we knew, and you have since confirmed by your actions, are stand up guys who just like to blow stuff up. Other LV corps have far different aims, ones that we don't want to have any part of. Once again, letting LV have an escape route into the Kali regions would bring that war to our doorstep, which we didn't want.
Based on those two things, we decided that unless FATAL was going to break ties with DICE and LV - something we considered unlikely at best - there was a good chance that DICE/BOB/LV would be able to use FATAL's facilities in the future. We therefore decided to put that outpost under new management, which would be less likely to present as hospitable a home for those elements.
Personally speaking, I think that FATAL is an incredible corporation, and I would love to have you living under our banner or even as members of Ka-Tet. But leaving you with an outpost that we can't control the access to is simply an unacceptable risk from a strategic point of view, and thus we come to the present war.
That pretty much hits the nail on the head on why we went to war.
i think the nial your trying to hit is the wrong one if bob or lv decided to come here we may have let them use the station but if history is to be our guide both of these alliances could swallow us whole without notice and if they wanted an outpost they would hardly break a sweat tacking one from anybody in this region with or without our help.
i honestly belive and have had reports that you guys have put yourself on the map as a full aliance (even if not on paper) as these mamouth pvp alliances are concerned by attacking a smallish alliance that has absolutly no interest in pos war fare what so ever.
lets face it and i mean no disrespect you had to bring in all or at least a lot of your nap alliance to handle us and just to freely admit that its to in some way inconveniance bob against ra may have woken the sleeping dragon (or at least the dragon that was focused on a differant area)
i am still looking forwards to more pew pew with you guys and i do agree that your pvp has improved somwhat at least in the smaller engagments we have.
but id say that you have still a bit to go if you want to be in the sort of class that you will be facing in the future.
remember numbers did'nt help ascn when faced with a lesses numbered but more skilled pvp force

roaming is a hostile action, and why should we want an alliance 8 jumps away attacking when they are feeling bored? BTW was it your POS you have anchored one jump away from our home system? Keep the smack out of these forums, and if you've come to kill Fatal then keep at it, but stop pretending you're doing anything else but fighting our alliance with your alliances
Sorry for your understandable fustration. All I can say is I wish those fighters had kill mails whats it upto at least 300 or so I'd think. Also as stated, as long as we get our objectives completed ship losses don't count toward much.

I can attest to this. They do not appear lost when they engage us close range, long range, when they dock for new ships, undock with new ships, etc.
