Anyone else you know has left or are leaving? I'm also wondering how long this thread will last before censorship rears it's ugly head.

Anyway, AFAIK it had something to do with T2 BPOs, which come from such a horribly broken system that concepts like 'fair' and 'cheating' can hardly be applied. ---------- IBTL \o/ EVE is upside down! I know i've cancelled my 2 accounts, my best friend has done the same, and I know several others for a total of about 20 accounts or so in my alliance. And alot more are looking towards stuff like vanguard and wow now till something better, but atleast legitimate comes around.

I cant belive that there is some people in the forums ask to not fire the cheater. I dont like that the devs help Band of Brothers because they are my enemies. I am not going to pay for this

X99 Z990	Posted - 2007.02.12 09:28:00 - [22] My opinions on people who are quitting. --- You want to see one of the CCP staff lose his job just to satisfy your feeling of justice, if the alliance was anyone other than BoB not as many people would care. Reading all the dev posts and articles state that they have already punished the member of staff back in the summer they cant second guess that and fire him after he has been working continuing months. The list of BPOs were listed on the dev blog and all in all in the grand scheme of the eve galaxy have not affected balance whatsoever or given BoB any advantage they would not have already, the assets aquired are probably equivelant to a full freighter being destroyed. As for the other accusations against CCP they have denied giving BoB information unfairly and the use of developer tools. Really i doubt any good could come from terminating the devs employment so i think its very small of people to quit over that. Feel free to flame me or call me a BoB alt if it makes you feel better.

But I've always maintained at least one account here. Eh, someone makes a mistake, a firing offense, and the boss is away so nothing gets done about it until he gets back and by then there's another crisis going so nothing much happens... it's standard fare in the corporate world. And I'm not going to lose any sleep over a game that isn't winnable, anyway. Frankly, in Eve I don't think it much matters if you do cheat, since there is no win in Eve. I play by the rules, mind you, there's not much of a reason not to and heck I helped beta this thing and I respect its vision. But something like this, even with 0.0 alliances, meh, it means nothing really to me. Maybe it comes from having watched a movie on military contractors such as Halliburton earlier tonite, but right now there's nothing in Eve that can even remotely disturb me other than the polarized nature of the community against itself.
