I'm relatively new to the game, but it's stuff like this that I really started playing EVE for to begin with. That being said, I don't have a whole lot of ISK... but enough to purchase maybe 5 or so shares. Be gentle with the laughter. :)

If you have 5m to invest, you're often better off investing it in yourself and your own advancement than in an IPO. All that said, if you've done a level-headed evaluation of your financial circumstances and still want to invest, it'd be my pleasure to send 5 shares your way. Without even a hint of laughter. MP Oh absolutely. Well, as I see it... my market (minerals) has been somewhat limited lately. I've got stockpiles of resources and I'm waiting for the market to recover in some areas, rather than selling low. So while I may only have liquid ISK's of 5 million, I've got much more than that tied up in assets. I don't want to sit and spin on my thumb, waiting for the market to pick up. I'd rather take advantage of this IPO before the shares are all sold off and I miss out on a potentially good thing. 5 shares, may not get me a lot... but something is better than nothing at all. And even it if ends up being a huge flop, I'm not going to be putting a gun to my head or spacing myself because of the loss. I'll send the ISK the next chance I get.

The only portion of isk that investors will not see is that which would go to unsold shares. That isk will stay in the corp wallet, raising the base value of all shares (both sold and unsold). The other two options I can see are to have the corp purchase shares in itself, or to modify the dividend in such a way that unsold shares are not paid. If one of these other options--or some fourth option I had not considered--has the support of the community, I'd be happy to do that, instead. MP -- TINY.
