maybe its because they were doing a event in the area or maybe its because they are actually keeping a close eye on BOB because of all the B***S*** that is happening on this forum at the moment inspired mostly by goonswarm.
It seems some of you are to caught up in this and believe that this was done by abusing game mechanics. I hope that CCP does look into this and makes a statement to show you guys weather or not it was done through "SKILL" or "ABUSE" 
As for the titan's being reimbursed due to logging off in space. if that does ever happen then they should also reimburse for Titans in build or in space which are being killed due to server node crashes.
in my own personal opinion i believe that credit is deserved to BOB for killing the D2 titan under the current conditions and forum propaganda which is going on. I am also sure a lot of you guys are thinking WTF were D2 doing and hoping for them to continue the fight by this action fueling their rage to carry on. I myself also hope this will fuel their rage to carry on. It will be very interesting to see what happens in this war from this point forth.

So, according to most of the smaller alliances on the coalition's side: 1) If BoB does something worthwhile they are h4xx0rz. 2) If their side does something worthwhile they are awesomeness embodied.
Good god, if BoB (lord help me) wins, the crying will never stop.
One good way to show CCP you don't like the way they act is to...I dunno.... quit. *****ing and moaning and throwing accusations around on the forums just makes you look like a ****.

well d2 are saying the titan was sitting in a pos for around 3 hours and was not agressed, he jump bridged some ships to yz and shortly logged off, and bob proceeded to kill him in this state. All it wouldve took was someone to shoot one wreck, or even his own guys shooting him to get him agressed before he logged. A titan is a big target so there is a small chance someone shot at him somewhere.

as outsider, im kind of new to the game and i havent been in alliances yet
but as i have readed how titans have gone down so far it seems mind-blowing
and kind of disgusts me.
to destroy all the work of the players building it just by using a bug/exploit?
i just hope such acts will be impossible when ill be joining some alliance

I would be intersted to know what caused the aggro timer, it's not like you can accidentally aggro without killing the entire grid.
There is a known issue with POS guns holding aggro for hours after people have been shot with them, and also the wreckage shooting exploit. If it was either of these, then the ship will be reimbursed. It is also possible that remote repping, jump bridging, or something else we are not aware of triggered the aggro timer.
Regardless, this game is becoming more and more broken every day - we have a visible aggro timer in high/low-sec, so why the hell not in 0.0 where it matters.

There was no D2 involved. The Titan logged off from POS after 3 hours. He was then probed and Shrike jumpbridged a fleet on it.

They're not hackers, they're simply abusing a bug in the game to keep someone aggro'd long after his aggro should have worn off.
BoB abusing bugs and metagaming, wow, that's a shock isn't it? Maybe if they didn't have such a long history of this kind of underhanded crap people wouldn't be so quick to scream exploit all the time.

yeah the comparison is quite humorous.. bob kills a few offline titans and claims god status.. we kill a titan wrapped in a pos with a 400+ defense fleet and they act like it was nothing..

They are presently busy running EVE.

I hope CCP bans all you ****ers who whine and complain whenever Bob kills a rat.
Crashing a node on purpose, and using login traps deserves bans. Killing a Titan due to titan pilot stupidity is fair game. Just because it's the second time they do it (kill a Titan) means that their enemies are pitiful players.
