Working on the glass shader and putting the Caracal ingame today (need a break from Gallente, even if it's just for one ship.)

I have a short video to share with you: ascension_blinky_caracal.avi (~9MB, XviD)
I had to shrink it to keep the filesize reasonable, so it is a 1680x1050 downscaled to 1024x640 video. The navlights can still be seen though, if you look close (that's the focus of this video, those little blinking lights on the Caracal.) Note that the Caracal is spawning with a Thanatos just because I'm using Gallente as my test race. :)

This whole project has to be the coolest thing ever, imagine offline fleet battles with no lag or actual PEOPLE to worry about. Oh and never mind the campaigns, just give us a skirmish mode with lots of ways to set up battles  *wets himself*

My apprentice, mantaray, has been tearing through the Caldari ships and is doing a fantastic job. I haven't been working on the mod much because of my class schedule (over Summer, yeah, I know.)

Yea just ordered from amazon, 12 bucks including shipping, about as much as x3 reunion. I've been picking up a few older games lately, cheap and fun and not centered around graphics.
