Impericus	Posted - 2007.03.13 14:04:00 - [61] For those who think right click is not possible on mac: --> hold two fingers on trackpac and click on mouse button... whola... you have a "right click button menu".. I am a recent Mac converter (one month) and using the track pad on mac is much smoother than on pc once you get used to it. After 17 years on pc, I am surprised how easy the transition was. AND you dont have to reboot your machine after several hybernation session like on XP. Macman

Both times I have ever used a Mac, it was given to me by my Uni. The reason they give us a MacBook to run Office in the first place is beyond me, but both times I have had horrible experiences with them. They are nothing more then trendy. Steve Jobs gloats about hows Macs never crash, but both my MacBooks had to be re-imaged upwards of 4 to 5 times over the 2 month span I had each of them. Macs arent meant for gaming, they are meant for talking to your friends on iChat and taking funky camera pictures for Myspace. At least most of them will be total noobs. Or any other system with Windows on it? Let me relate my gaming experience with a intel based Macbook Pro. I have played World of Warcraft, Privateer, Homeworld 2, etc., for several hours/days on it. Not one crash. You just had bad luck with it like hundreds of thousands of PC buyers have every day.

The only software that has chrashed on the Mac is offcourse Microsoft office 2004 and that is because it is run in Rosetta ( the ppc emulator since msoffice is from 2003). Microsoft say they are going to make an intel mac native office environment in the new version but im waiting on what Pages3 will bring on the arena. Hopefully it will be Endnote compatable (its a deal breaker for me). Otherwise I have not had anything but pleasant experience. Macman ps. bacspace delet can be done by pressing fn+Delete button

For those who don't know why the right-click still isn't working you'll need to enable ths in the macos System Preferences under Keyboard & Mouse.

I also thought it was pretty pathetic when people thought the iPhone was the be all and end all of phones, and how people cried over it.
