Emperor Rome SMASH Alliance	Posted - 2007.03.12 05:17:00 - [1] Edited by: Emperor on 12/03/2007 05:19:01 a bit of background first: SMASH was invited by RED and GOONSWARM to join the coalition against LV. SMASH accepted the offer and were offered the system of 77s and full rights to the 10/10 plex in that system. SMASH helps destroy the LV capital productoin facilities in JV1V as well as helps seige many other LV systems with the aid of GOONSWARM. SMASH destroys all enemy POS's in 77s and deploys a few POS's of our own to take soverignty of the system we were suppost to be given. RED alliance demands full access to the 10/10 plex, while GOON had already told SMASH that we would be given full access. An agreement is reached where the plex would be split 50/50 so SMASH would get it for 2 weeks of the month, RED the other 2 weeks. 2 days after this, RED alliance announces they want to buy a mothership from 1 of the pilots in SMASH who is a known empire pirate and scammer. Peoke informs RED that he is a very high-risk person to deal with and that RED should use Peoke or myself as a middle man to broker the trade of the mothership so that RED does not get ripped off. Red decides to ignore that advice and goes directly to the pilot and gives him 10 billion ISK. He then pods the RED pilot who came to pick up the Mothership, and leaves SMASH with the ISK. RED holds SMASH responsiable and gives us 72 hours to pay them their lost ISK or to get out of the area. Because the area is so rich and we had already invested a good deal of time and effort into securing the area, we decide it would be best just to pay RED. We offer them the money, but RED refuses, saying that they no longer trust SMASH and that we need to get out of the war. You can take this however you wish to, however it seems very clear to me that this was all a power-play for the 10/10 plex. So SMASH pulls out of the war and goes home to Geminate. GOON advises us to stay clear of RED as RED alliance has now re-set SMASH. SMASH pilots are given the order not to go past N-RAEL and not to raid RED space. RED's response to our trying to avoid them and let them fight BOB was to send raiding partys into geminate into TDE4-H, our home system. The raids increased untill within the last week we have had 4-5 diffrent raids a day, each raid containing an average of 10 RED pilots. SMASH decided that it would be in our best intrest to help the war effort against BOB still, so we moved our main PvP fleet over to the Outer Ring/Cloud Ring area to help GOON and D2 secure Cloud Ring and to help push into Fountain. The day after we moved our fleet out of TDE, RED deploys a medium POS and brings in 2 dreads and 4 carriers. Dispite our best efforts to stay away from RED and allow them to fight BOB, RED have felt that SMASH is clearly the greater threat and has decided to move on us instead of BOB. From this moment onward we are activly hunting RED alliance pilots. The POS they deployed in TDE4-H has already been hit into reinforced mode. It is my hope that GOONSWARM, CA, Tao Ceti, and all of RED's other allies will see that we have done our best to aid the war effort against BOB and would like all of RED's allies to stay out of the war between SMASH and RED, but that of course is up to those individual alliances. I would appreciate it if diplomats from all of RED's allies would mail me informing me of their stance toward SMASH considering what I have said in this post.

searchi tiberian suns	Posted - 2007.03.12 05:35:00 - [14] Edited by: searchi on 12/03/2007 05:33:12 seems reds urge to make isk by camping all complexes that they can get their hand on is stronger than their binding to the coalition. i dont see them actively invading bob space. might be even possible they arrange with them in a temporary sharing agreement. probably red knows, that IF ever bob and allies get dealt with they will be seen as the next treath to game stability by their urge to get their hands onto all the complexes

Aligning with certain people has consequences. Nothing worst then being stabbed in the back, but that should be expected from RED. They do have a record of opting out of agreements whenever they feel like it. Once no longer needed, it's 'boom' time. More folks will find that out the hard way as this war progresses.

After which you set us to blue and then proceeded to attack and camp us in station demanding we request permission. Not really the way friends are supposed to treat one another. But, I'm sure some folks will be fooled by your BS but it would seem RA and several other people know what you guys are truly about. Good luck and have fun.

Our pilot noticed a SMESH gang (they had + that time), and pilot with negative standings with them. So RA pilot attacked pilot with negative standings. RA pilot was killed by SMESH gang. 2. Our citizines was constantly killed by SMESH gangs. 3. SMESH there is no any big movement towards u from RA. Its just ppl having fun. We look at it as at hunting activity, not any kind of war... PS.
