Im not a fan from anyone, but from what I see in the killboards of all alliances I dont think the coalition is going to get BoB players to stop wanting to login because they have for the past days kill/loss ratios of over 10 to 1, so I image they are having the times of their lives. I hope the war keeps up and that all sides have fun, after all thats why we are all here.

LV got pretty badly pwned and lost all their space, yet they continue to smack from their hidey-holes in stain and bob-space. 2. Not really. AAA attacked MC space and reinforced a bunch of towers, and MC saved them, in the process losing several capital ships. AAA went home despite taking no substantial losses, don't ask me why 3. Sorta. Youwhat did indeed beat RISE, but only because Outbreak intervened on YW's behalf. IMO RISE wasn;t a bad alliance, but has lost strength since they became BoB tenants. Signatures done by me! Why on earth some people try to spin it (however lightly) as a "victory" is beyond me. Twitchy gameplay is good fun but rarely accomplishes strategic goals, it all depends on what "subgame" of EvE you're playing. Case in point, if we were back in the E-R days i suppose we would have taken a bunch of cruisers and the odd blasterthron and leeroyed that camp for laughs. Now that we're in an alliance (well, they are, i'm inactive ) we have to think about other stuff too. There's no use losing a BS fitted to the brim with t2 to factors the player can't control like lag and more importantly, every ship lost in a stupid manner is a ship less to back up the alliance when a playable situation arises. Of course if there were 2-3 suicide waves crashing the gatecamp the outcome could have been different, but it's too much manpower to do simultaneously with a regular fleet of BS and capitals. I guess that if the Goons were there it would be a repeat of the LV cap yards scenario, regardless of node holding or not. The simplest plan for the coalition would be to send suicide t1 frigs and cyno in capitals/jump portal the fleet, but that can't be done if the node drops or the titan stands looking at empty space for 10 minutes while it's taken down. All in all, you can't condemn these guys for not engaging because it's like damning them for not giving away cheap kills. Do you want a fight or do you want to shoot offline/unresponsive ships again, oh mighty seekers of utmost challenge? It's not BoB's fault the game is broken (yes, it is broken beyond belief at this point), but when BoB is so proficient at the widely undocumented mechanics of said breakage, you can't fault their enemies for not willing to engage there and taking their firepower where it could actually be used properly. It's not being risk averse, it's common sense...a quality that obscure humanoid creatures like goblins, orcs and most importantly, trolls usually fail to comprehend when they have an agenda to push. Actually you lost about 30 of that gang tonight, and the only real BS's ya got were the ones in TPAR to delay you guys and pop the dictor like we did, so more could catch up. You also had 50+ and some nicely fitted ships ^^ Faction lewt 4tw. In GQ2 alone you lost 8 killed 1 on even terms then warped when the small BoB gang jumped in. Also don't wear stabs . . . Kinda sad you warped out with a point on you and so did a few of your other BS's.

Lag got progressively worse as we approached the target area. Intel came in of the reception laid on for us, and we fully expected to get a fight out of this. I think maybe 2 jumps from the target system, we met up with an iron fleet, maybe around 240 in local at the time and everything went screwy. Everyone tried to log back in, failed, petitioned CCP to be moved to another system (or on top of MC cap yards would have been nice!), failed (looked like some sort of auto message or 1 guy going nuts with copy/paste). After about an hour GM's replied area being fixed. Same time scouts in surrounding areas (they had managed to stay in game) reported sizeable BoB fleet inbound. Now heres the important bit for the nubtards who think we should have fought and are busy beating their chests from behind the rather large BoB safety net kindly provided by your masters.... Not everyone was still able to log in simultaneously, people were spread across systems and some had logged out of frustration, so co-ordination had gone out of the window to a large extent. So let's recap so you don't lose the point here.... mahoosive fleet in target system just waiting for coalition to jump in. coalition forces split, reduced considerably because of login problems, and now when they are starting to log in they have a roaming bob fleet taking advantage of the situation and just picking up opportunity kills. (No complaints there, we nearly all CTD'd at a gate and we would do the same if the roles were reversed). Now given all that you are picking holes in our failure to attack? I do beleive there's a call for a 'get a clue' skill and some of you should try gettin that to lvl 5 before you post on topics you obviously have no idea about. /rant off ---------------------------------------------- We can't all be heroes, because somebody has to sit on the curb and clap as they go by
