Have the same problem. ~ 3 months of skill training gone and the queue happily continuing on at login (with no paused warnings) like it was August... Evemon have reported completed skills the whole time, and I was supposed to have 1 hour left when I logged on today.

Well, There are people like me that verified every single email prior to this clusterf*ck just to find that several accounts required the mails to be verified anew today. Every single one of my accounts had shown the mail as verified a few days ago.
Besides that little details you might be surprised that there are players who have a tiny bit of real life left and possibly could not log into their accounts for a few days. You know, working People on business trips, deployed soldiers, people who did not take their PC with them on vacation. There might be one or two of them out there, you know? Returning players are a whole different story as well. They might not have seen the shiny posts, because they maybe only heared from a friend today that an presumably awsome expansion is about to go live...
Of course real veterans would still come back only three days later after the worst kinks have been ironed out. Compared to some older expansions today went comparably well. |

EVE is my favorite game! I have played it for about ten years and have plexed and paid for many subscriptions off and on for the last decade. I have been playing multiple accounts for the last several years, never using ISBoxer or any other illegal means to profit or pay for my accounts. I have always tried to comply with CCP's EULA to the best of my knowledge, but I admit, I just click Accept any time a EULA agreement comes up without "studying" the details and what all it entails. I feel MOST normal people do this with most games as EULA's are generally the "legal mumbo jumbo" required to cover your liabilities and protect all parties and such. I understand I am responsible for holding up my end of the EULA and subject to CCP's decision if I have broken it.
With this new release, I know there are many issues with email verification.
My first question is simple ... Will CCP be making an easy way to link multiple accounts to a single email without having to petition each and every account individually?
Gaming in MMO's over the last decade, I have created over 20 email accounts.
I have changed passwords so many times for "account security" that I have over 60 possible passwords on those accounts which I have written down in my notebook to try to keep track of them all. Some I did not write down :(
I have tried to access some email accounts to verify EVE and those accounts have been inactive for YEARS.
One email wants to "message" me a code on my cell phone to reactivate my email .... I don't have a cell phone btw ....
Another email provider has temporarily "frozen" my account due to inactivity but I may contact their customer support.
I can see how this is a serious issue for players who made their accounts over a decade ago.
Secondly .... Is it possible to allow access in account management using usernames and passwords?
I ask this because when I tried to sign on to several accounts, an email verification was sent ... I just didn't know where to ... I would have written down the email accounts I have used on every account IF I had known I would not be able to access account management to see which EVE account was linked to which EMAIL account. I have previously been able to just sign on to my accounts to find out this information any time I needed it ... like when the new launcher came out before.
I feel CCP seems to have encouraged a true sandbox in EVE and LOVE the vision and direction CCP has taken recently. I think many "multiboxing" account holders are in the same position which I am in due to CCP's recent email verification change as 2 of about 10 people I have talked to have had issues as well.
Thank you for dealing with this issue and congratulations on what otherwise seems to be an epic release. |

FYI something is definitely borked with training history. An alt is currently training Min Strat Cruise V. Last entry for training history is Min Strat Cruise III on 11/2. Another alt appears to be missing between 8 and 11 days of training based on last training item in history, current training item progress and EveMon's expected progress when I first started it up so the actually training queue may be messed up as well.
Bug reports submitted from both accounts.
Bah, I don't sign anything...

I've read most of this forum, and I'm not upset at the biography thing. I am very concerned about my e-mail confirmation not going through. I haven't played in a few months, and left my accounts alone as I didn't have money to pay for them. I was able to confirm this one, but i have another account that I can't even get to the EULA screen on the launcher or in EVE Account Management. I verified that the second e-mail address works (sent a test email from my primary to secondary, no hiccups or anything in retrieval), so I'm worried that this is a miscommunication between CCP servers/e-mails and my secondary address. I've debated on putting a Service Ticket in, but I don't know how long the response would take, hence why I'm messaging here.
I just don't want a 4-year old character to poof out of existance. |

i am beyond livid right now cause there are so many optional ways of authentication that other mmo's use and you failed miserably at figuring out a better method..

Yahoo problems here too. Got a couple of accounts with yahoo email addresses registered right after down time this morning. Now trying to run more accounts through the process and not receiving the emails... |

that would make sense if ccp got black listed from sending out all those survey monkey's and "please come back to eve" emails
brilliant thinking ccp! im even more furious about this right now..
where is that GM Hotep response now.. cause even on ownership verification you do not want that information being sent out as it risk even greater security leaks!!

It's yahoo mails that seem to be the issue. Both my regular accounts use yahoo mail and neither recieved any type of codes trying to log in.

My secondary account is hotmail. My AOL address worked fine. |

I was getting Yahoo e-mails fine earlier today when setting up on my laptop, but now that I'm home on my desktop I've not received any e-mails to my Yahoo account from CCP. Currently not able to access any of my six accounts waiting for verification codes. :( |

This morning (U.S. Central Time Zone morning) accounts I have linked to Yahoo emails did get their authorization codes, though they were scattered between Inbox and Spam. That Yahoo is no longer playing nice with automated CCP emails is very possible, considering the sheer number of them pouring out of Iceland. It also speaks volumes how much trouble this 'one time only, we promise!' two stage login has become in the first day.
I'm just glad I didn't jump the gun and do the two part check-in as was suggested via the Launcher for the last couple days, only to face it again! My frustrations lie elsewhere.

After injecting a book that the prerequisites are not fully trained for, it looks exactly the same as a skill that has not had the book injected for. the only way to tell is the change in the right click menu options.
This needs to change to give feedback that the skill book has been injected but is (currently) untrainable.
Its not possible to please all the people all the time, but it sure as hell is possible to Displease all the people, most of the time.
