What is this, and why do i have to suffer through yet another useless "security" feature that i didnt even ask for? How do i get past this, when CCP insists sending the verification email (that i again have to point out, that i didnt ask for) to an email i created my account with like 10 years ago, which by now doesnt even exist anymore?
And yes i have changed the email since. I have 3 accounts, 2 still works.
All this security is stupid and useless, i-¦d play without password if i could. |

I am waiting for an email for 5 minutes now. Where is it? How is it being delivered? By pony express? The email address it is stating it is being sent to is valid and working. I just have not received it.
Is it being sent at all?. I hate when you make upgrades. They usually cause problems of one sort or another for me. They usually take a couple of days to clear so that I can play at all. You should pro-rate our subscriptions for us being blocked from playing |

been about an hour waiting here.
my verification email was going to a hotmail.com address for one account and it didn't arrive.
the one sent to a gmail account worked fine.
I've whitelisted [email protected] in the hotmail antispam filtering - still no joy.
I suspect that outlook.com (microsoft's infrastructure for hotmail) is either deep sixing emails or that the inbound connections from the ccpgames mail server is being throttled (which happens normally).

Microsoft is know to have a very tight spam filter, most of the time is very paranoiac, but i think that CCP also has some issues in sending out email due to the amount of email having to send out..., that, some times might be seen as spam by it self
because of that huge number of email gmail and yahoo also receives them slow |

Same here. I have multiple accounts linked to a email that doesn't exist anymore, and now I have no way to login. |

13 hours of waiting for a response on this ticket. My other account's email was old and deleted, but I have since recreated it. Still not getting authentication or verification emails,. Refreshing the ticket every few hours to see if anyone responded... still nothing and no expectation of when this might be resolved. |

Have the exact same issue, my second account which I ve had subscribed for about 8 years had an old email address linked to it, tried to change it before the upgrade but there was no option other to verify the email address it had....which I have no access to......
Have tried support (website timing out so I am guess I am not the only one) only to have a mass reply sent back to me advising me to contact support!!!
CCP you must have known there were many paying subscribers with unvalidated email address on your database what did you think was going to happen when your force users to validate through it????

Cant access my main account, because I dont get any e-mail from CCP. As the e-mail behind that account is a custom setup, I can view the mailservers log files. There are no incoming connections. CCP's zendesk support mails come through .. CCP you ****** up!

well lucky i'm not the only one , they rejected my info@ email of my company on my accounds , and now i have to proove with a long prosess i'm the owner so they can change it ? well why you ppl changed that after 13 years ? its a perfect working e-mail
they just say : Unfortunately, emails beginning with info@; mail@; admin@, etc. are not supported. If needed, I can change the email address on your account to re-enable access once we verify ownership.
you had to say it 13 and 10 years ago when i enterd it to create the accounds and pay for them not today
just remove this feature , the one B4 patch was working just perfect

Customer service beyond a joke, as stated in posts above you must have been aware of the volume of unverified accounts prior to patch day. Yet still, all people are receiving is automated responses and no further replies with assistance.

To those who have received assistance, how long did you wait in total? Did you get any compensation in game time? I'm going on 32 hours without access to my other paid account and no word about how long I'll have to keep waiting. Wasted my time yesterday checking the ticket and email every so often because authentication codes could come late at any time but are only good for "10 minutes".
More information please. Set expectations or even just give us warnings that this may take a few days to sort out. It's common f'ing courtesy. |

Hello, still no answer after 23h for 14 of my accounts which emails were verified.

Good thing I did, and still had to enter codes but I don't have access to thes accounts' mail anymore. You didn't say: make sure you are able to verify your already verified email for no reason.
I'm not mentally deficient and my password isn't qwerty123. I don't need your "security", I'm pretty sure nobody wants it.
Also last time I did a petition I had to wait for 10 days to get a response, I hope this will be faster.

Before you do that falcon, I ve had this account for over ten years and used the forums about 4 times... I am not a ranter I just can't believe the lack of support here for an issue you must have expected a multitude of tickets on. I just retried now, and bang, got my verif email in seconds. It's possible they've fixed the back end, so may be worth trying again |

Well I have one of two accounts going because I could still access that email. Less so the other. But only been waiting 24 hours so hey could be worse.
I figure the poor folks doing the support tickets are massively back logged and probably are getting a really good hate on for whoever this bright idea was owned by. It'll be some clueless management type I'm betting.
Normally when they do a new patch that gets me motivated to log back in and do stuff. For some mysterious reason that is not happening with this patch. |

If the support didnt waste time claiming "oh its not our fault" in the first response the tickets would be answered much quicker.
As the system is setup so that you have to have a verified email to be able to log into account management, which is required to resend email verification. That is one hellofa design fault. After 30 minutes it should send a new one on an attempted login automatically. That would rid nearly all of the tickets. |

I love the fact that all three of my accounts share the same email. Two accounts send the verification just fine. The third wont show up. You know its bad when even the copy paste response takes 24 hours, going on another 24 hours since last gm contact now.
Never thought I would say this, but how bout a nice couple of security questions instead? Obviously we need another way into accounts other then relying on support. |

Man it's been ******* days and I still can't get the automated system to send emails to my goddamned hotmail address. Customer service managed to send me an automatic form reply and nothing else. Locked out of half my accounts (of course the one with all my science and industry jobs on it is one of the locked ones).
This is really, really annoying. Judging by the number of screwups, it seems like it's gonna be a long time before some of us get access to our stuff. |

As you may be experiencing log in issues Log In or [E-Mail Verification issues, we need to make sure youGÇÖve exhausted the following steps before we proceed:
All email sub folders, junk / spam / trash folders have been checked and no verification emails have been received there.
YouGÇÖve whitelisted the following email or added it to your contacts list: [email protected] and tried again. a. Info on how to whitelist emails can be found here: http://onlinegroups.net/blog/2014/02/25/how-to-whitelist-an-email-address/
Make sure not to send the verification email multiple times. a. Each new verification email created will disable the last one. b. Each verification email is valid for 30 minutes.
If youGÇÖre getting a GÇ£Code MismatchGÇ¥ error message. a. Please wait for 30 minutes to make sure all codes are disabled. b. Request the verification to be sent once, and once only.
c. Wait for that email to arrive and apply the code to your account.
If youGÇÖre getting a GÇ£We have detected that your browser as cookies disabledGÇ¥ error message. a. This will be fixed very soon. b. To bypass this go into the Control Panel > Network and Internet > Internet Options. From there set the "Internet Zone" to Medium or lower. And hit Apply.

After a few days i finally got my main account email changed. but now when i go to log in, it says an error occured. no ******* support can help me with this and i cant log into my account anywhere. if they dont fix it within a day or 2. im gone. and ive been here for years on multiple account. i have invested thousands and they just took it all away like a bunch of dumb asses.
