I was killing a Harbinger today, and the guy was just begging and pleading in local to let him live. So I offered him a ransom amount, and he said he didn't have any where near the required amount, so I killed his ship, and then I killed his pod on top of that.
He was a fairly new player with a mid ranged T1 fit ship, but in this day and age of alt characters etc., I didn't cut him any slack. But the begging in local was pretty sad, making me think that indeed this isn't an alt, but just some poor sap with barely five mill left in his account after he just pimped out his BC with everything he had. It went pop anyway. Oh well. People have been far (far) more merciless to me in the game. Eve is not for the weak willed.
So anyway, this got me to thinking: what is just the hardest, meanest, most cold blooded thing you've done in Eve? Inquiring minds want to know.
Because I said so...

O dam. But see, that was an accident. I'm specifically talking about being cruel and merciless on purpose, especially when you know that the victim is completely helpess and innocent and you're probably ruining his entire Eve career up to that point.

on my first trial account I podded someone within an hour of playing in high sec after they took something from me in the training complexes :o/
I actually felt kinda violent, they had a stupid name and were just in this stupid little pod thing after I killed their ship, which I wanted to explode and destroy. The frozen corpse thing is just beautiful.
It felt like creeping up behind a sniping noob in an FPS game then blasting the **** outta their head.
Concord then arrived and vexed me greatly.

My alt is such a good little boy, griefing people just like his old main!
Hauler alt's - if yours aint yarr, you're letting a whole lotta potential go to waste!
Edith; During one week I robbed 3 people for so much they quit eve (one of them even got his account banned), man I was laughing hard, i'm really more of a griefer than a pirate -_- Signature removed - please email us with a link to find out why - Serathu ([email protected]) |

Lame? Perhaps. Funny? Quite. Cruel? Oh yes. Yarr etc. |

Ok, let me tell you a tale of a new player in eve.
My alt was sitting around the trade channels when this guy starts asking if someone an build him a brutix. Being the nice guy I am I message him, we talk for about 30 mins and make friends and laugh and get along great, I agree to build him the brutix and as payment he hands over all his minerals aswell as all his rat loot, the fruits of a career in eve whacking away at roids with miner I's for weeks.
His proud, the big shiny industrialist is going to build him a brutix.
I fly my alt's freighter 20 jumps to pick up all the stuff (could have used a badger but what the heck, might aswell impress the little carebears), upon I inform him that this is ofcourse a scam and that he wont be getting anything.
He gets hurt, then upset, then ****ed and starts spamming me, apparantly in five days something nasty will happen to me, he refuses to tell me what until the five days are gone so being the impatient git I am, I have privateers war decc his alliance (retarded high sec alliance, you know the type) and mail a claim that the member is to be kicked or the war decc will not be dropped.
three days later, his without a corp and is ofcourse sending me heartfelt "omgz ur ruining my eve lolz" mails.
Few days later, his in another newbie corp, well I have a lil talk with their ceo, I have a few war deccs thrown out and voila, his without a corp again and...ups, I just realised I actually forgot to call the mercs off that newbie corp so I better go talk to them after I write this post for additional payment.
Anyways, after that he was offline for a week or two, He came back online two days ago and he just joined a new corp, can anyone guess what time it is?
Total profit: 30.000.000 Mercenary cost: just above 100.000.000 Fun: Hell yeah.

I held a pod in a mission for about 3 hours. I didn't ransom him or anything, I just sat there waiting for him to convo me. He never did, so I just left him sitting there. I had lunch and a few smokes before I realized I had disabled all convos. I felt pretty bad about it, so I convo'd him and apologized. He said it was his first time and he had no idea what to do...so then I podded him.

Meh , that reminds me I'm a fluffy nice pirate even when that helpless exequror didn't send enough for the ransom , I refunded it before blowing it up.
There's nothing like highsec griefing tho - stealing the same poor scythe miner thrice , ganging up with another yellow pirate when he fights back , get him can flagged , blast him to bits then loot his stuff in front of his pod

Some cruel stuff in my career, off the top of my head though:
Tricked some newbie in to thinking I wanted to help with his mission. Ganged him, warped to his mission spot, bookmarked the gate, went in, gave him a quick podding. Nothing special. Talked to him afterwards and I think I gave him a mill or two, I forget. I'm a nice guy y'know.
The next day though, he was back in system, and I was out hunting with some friends. I notice it's the same guy in local, so I warp to the mission spot I bookmarked... gates still there... I go through... why hello thar.... put 2 and 2 together to figure out what comes next
I've actually probably done a lot worse, but off-hand I can't think of it (almost 5 AM, meh). This one always gives me a chuckle though. Poor guy... the hate mail was so worth it though

Wow, you guys are evil.
My most cold-blooded moment?
So I am wandering around in my usual haunts when I get a convo to jump on allied corp's vent. I get on and they ask me to come home and kill a noob in our home system. Not so evil right?
Well, turns out, the ally corp was trying to recruit this noob, but the noob wouldn't join. They were telling the noob about the dangers of lowsec and he will get popped unless he has their protection. I get home and find the noob in an Imicus, he is 4 days old and mining his little heart out.
I gank him in my rupture.
He goes to the station and starts to say, in a convo to my friends, "Deimos Regal just killed my ship." My friends say to him, well it is lowsec and if you were in our corp we would be able to come to your aid. He says, why do I have to be in your corp? They relpy, well we don't know if you are bait.
So, my friends give him a brand new shiney Imicus, a couple of Miner I's and some drones, on the condition he consider's joining their corp. He returns to mine his little heart out.....in the same belt.....using his same can.
I gank him with my rupture.
He again goes to the station and starts to say, in a convo to my friends......you see a pattern?
End of the day,
Imicus kills: 5 Noob pod kills: 1 Laughs behind his back on vent: Priceless

Me and my corp was mining in a 0.5 system because we didn't want to risk low-sec. So after a while I got bored and jumped into the 0.4 system next door, only to find a Retriever mining in a belt, with a Badger hauling and a Tristan as protection. A few rats had spawned, so I helped them kill them off and then just sat there, talking to them. Since they knew little english, I went back to my corp, feeling thoughtful.
So, of course, I ganged my corp, got in a Ferox, and jumped back into the 0.4 system. I saw the barge slowly crawling to the gate, so I warped to the belt they were at (swearing), to see that the Badger was still there, getting the last can. I opened fire, and wasted him before my corp could even exit warp. The cries of "?" an "?!" in local made feel slightly guilty, but it's their fault for trusting me
I made an alt just to pvp. So, the day after I made him I was in an Incursus, cruising low-sec for an easy kill. I eventually scanned down a 2 month old in a Stabber. I warped in right on top of him, scrammed, webbed, and shot. It was a quick fight, and after his pod warped off I saw that he had 2 arties of different sizes, and two autocannons of different sizes, a heavy launcher, and a standard launcher. He had tried to mix his tank as well. Made me smile that I was able to clear the system of someone with no idea how to fit a ship.

Hmmm, ok this was all IC of course :)
But my corp got invited to join an alliance, and as a response we wardecced them set some mercs on it till the alliance and the executor corp disbanded.
(there is more history to this, but this was the gest of it, my character was particularly annoyed by the person that invited her and the alliance she got invited to)
But I thought that was pretty coldblooded.

i cant really call myself cold hearted. apart from the aunenen camping days and currant empire piracy.
tbh if im in a gatecamp (normally only 3 of my mates, no blobbing!) theres no mercy regardless of who it is, as is standard procedure.
when im belting for targets however its a different matter entirely, or at least it was. pre 800k sp nublets (damn i hate them) if i came across a [pilot aged less than 2 months id kill him, scram his pod and i'd talk to him - give him some pvp tips or w/e and in some cases give him his surviving mods and a little amount of isk to get him back on his feet.
since nublets nowadays are born PWNING lvl 1's and can pretty much start taking level 2's immediatly or w/e im more inclined to do the same, but without giving them their mods back and without the isk, and a free trip to the clone vat.
this is especially the case where someone is blatantly an alt (a fresh nublet in a "well fitted" drake or an isk buyer) there is no moicy

Warped in to it and popped 3x Mobile laboratories (90m each) with my Impairor, which took less than 20min (i think). After that i "had" to send a message to the CEO of the corp owning the POS, telling him that he just lost POS equipment worth 270m isk to a rookie ship |

On a rather slow day, to be exact a day not one person entered our little stretch of low-sec, we hatched a devious plot to get some kills. We sent a friend into the near by high sec, with positive sec status and all that, and got him asking for help with missions in low-sec. Meanwhile we made a random safespot and parked a ganksquad at it, gave him the bookmark. As he got people to help, he ganged them, and warped them right into their destruction and podkill. I've never laughed quite so hard while killing people
Oh, and we also tricked some miners into thinking we would protect them from the rats and pirates in the belt they were mining (two -10 characters, mind you). And we did, for about an hour. Once their jetcan was nice and full, they said they were going to get haulers. Before they could we popped them both, scrambled the pods, shot the jetcan (so they could see the destruction of their efforts), and then podded them
And by the way, I rule you.

Hardest part with fake missions is finding the names of missions, you're dealing with pro mission *****s, they wont go for it if you have the wrong faction/name/level/objectives whatever. It was, of course, very helpful our baiter was in fact a long time mission runner that wanted to be a pirate

Since I usually fly in gangs if i'm pirating, I rarely feel like i'm doing anything cold blooded. Regardless of how much the victim screams or smacks.
Only one significant thing I can remember though, is luring an annoying egotistical retard into a .4 Caldari System while we were still in the State War Academy (noobcorp). I tell him to get to a belt and i promptly eliminate his ship + pod in my kestrel. Then I mistakenly get killed by sentry guns at a stargate, and then a bunch of people in corp chat send me isk for my loss/work. Never see the guy I killed again.
When I'm flying in a group though, unless other members say otherwise or if the target really has something to offer, there is no mercy. -------

i generally do quite a lot of evil things. 1 thing i remember well tho was scanning down a merlin and a vexor together. warped in 10km in my cloaked pilgrim to find the vexor mid ransom on the merlin (turned out to be his first ransom). so i uncloak, scram the vexor (knowing the merlin is being scrammed by the vexor). killed the vexor and podded him and then completed ransoming the merlin for 1mil
Then i got a rather annoyed hatemail from the vexor guy who had high grade slaves in and only put them in a few days before that's the second person i've podded with high grade slaves (or at least the second one who has admitted it). The other resides in Veto public channel most of the time and whines at me everytime i log on

I was pirating low sec in a cyclone a while ago and I killed some prophecy in a belt.
The owner was some pretty new char who immediately convoed me and started threatening me in caps with wardecs from his friends etc. He told me the prophecy was uninsured and demanded I replaced the isk it cost him.
I then called upon my loyal manslave 0virtu0, a noobcorp member and with him, we played an incredible scheme to scam the noob out of the last isk he had in his wallet.
It worked and we were a few mil richer while I think the noob proph pilot quit the game.

I once logged in for 5 mins on christmas day to change a skill at 10pm.
I had logged off in space a couple days earlier (I don't play around Christmas time) in a Taranis at a belt in low sec. When I loaded up fully and my ship warped to the belt I noticed a neutral thorax on overview that was MINING! ON CHRISTMAS DAY!
Sooo I MWD'd towards it, orbitted at 1km, scrambled, webbed and turned on blasters then logged off. The PvP timer must have kept me there orbitting and modules on because when I logged back in 3 days later I had a killmail.
But also an evemail. The evemail said "But it's Christmas!". Your signature exceeds the maximum allowed filesize of 24000 bytes - Devil

It was in 0.5. so I warp in, kill a few rats for him, then in local I said, I had his loot from the rats I killed, and that I would jettison it next to him. He takes, I scram, kill, loot. He had a shield tank on lol. Guy was only a few weeks old.
Another guy I killed on main in low sec, some hauler. Unknown to me at the time, I think it had his eve life in it. I killed him, his pod got away. He sent me a mail threating a 145mil bounty. So I mailed him back, telling him I'd tell him when my sec status was low enough so that he could bounty me. I don't think he has logged on since.

Did the can switch trick in a shuttle robbin from a hulk, he shot me with his drones I warp out hop into a Rupture and warp back and to my amazement the guys still there so yeah you see where im goin...
BUT I didnt ransom him, t2 drones were actually doin a good bit of damage and the lag was a ***** so yeah ended up poppin a half bil ship with a cruiser over maybe 200k worth of ore
Guy was seriously depressed, told me he had just got it. he wasnt even angry or shoutin at me he was just totally bummed.
Was funny as **** cause I was a total noob piwate at the time and had no idea how much a hulk was worth

I killed a Scythe mining in lowsec, had a nice chat with him in local afterwards and ended up giving him 10m and several tips on how to survive ^^

A few things:
Came across a kessie ransoming a cormorant, popped them both. Got hatemail from the cormorant. <3
Popped a cormorant that'd been in the week for < 3 weeks. I told him 3 weeks ago (seriously, I remember him too) how to survive... he was 40km off the drop point, mwd to him, scram, obliterate... oy. How's he gonna go forget all the tips I gave him?
Popping AFK's also. Always feels bad.

Well, one time I was hauling my stuff from my lowsec station to Jita to sell, I got jump'd by a solo gatecamper
So he proceeded to Scram/Web/ping me down to structure
He opens up a chat, randoms me for 100m.
Me being the carebear I am, AND just gotten out of my trial (I still have less then 2m SP!), I was a wee low on cash, so I tell him "Just one sec im getting a corp mate to wire me some money"
So after a few seconds he goes pop.
That totaly introduced me to tanking senty aggro solo in a T2 Fitted BC for 10 seconds after poping a noob BS and trying to randsom a badger is totaly a bad idea.
I made a bit of cash though ^-^

O dam. But see, that was an accident. I'm specifically talking about being cruel and merciless on purpose, especially when you know that the victim is completely helpess and innocent and you're probably ruining his entire Eve career up to that point.
ahh, now sa little one understands...
uhm, yeah:
I was once floating around in my usualy "ratting" grounds, soon bored of the bs traffic @ gates i thought ill fetch my mega 2 be able 2 do sumthing against them.
As i undocked in my megathron and warped to a gate nothing happened... no bs, no titan, no carrier, no shuttle blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, so i pushed the scan one more time.. BINGO, a fresh Cormorant Destroyer.
I quickly pinpointed him down............. middle of space . Okay, lets be nasty i thought. I rightclicked him ( idiot named his cormorant like every newb ) and clicked "Form Gang with this person".
10 seconds of bloody waiting then ( imagine your overview, and the number "2" next to the almost golden letters "G A N G".
YARRRRRRRRRRRRRRR i thought and pushed warp to member...
in this moment i kinda recognised that i was in my trusty 1on1 pvp megathron w/ mwd ( i kinda knew i would end up in a deadspace mission ).... Well i thought, lets do it anyways.. so im coming out of warp at the acc gate, push activate, and warp..
  60km away -.- , mwd not working -.-
to my surprise ( to shorten my story, the 2 day old noob started talking to me in gang chat as if there was no big red flashy bs approaching him with like 130m/s and a 166mil bounty on his head ) ..........

My post on EVE Pirate tells the tale of my ishkur happening upon a mining op and holding them in "shackles" (two 20km scrams holding their mining covetor and vexor) for hours while they slaved for me.
Few days later the leader of the group asked me to teach him some piracy. This was the same guy who said the 3 pilots in the op couldn't afford the 25mil ransom that led to them, getting enslaved.
So i say sure I'll meet you. Head there in my ishkur (was the ship of my choice at the time) and find him in a nice shiny new Drake (right after Kali, no less). Gang him, warp to an ss trying to scan out another local, and he mentions he's skittish because of his head full of crystals. That was the end.
Popped his drake solo and then podded him.
Blocked him midway thru the fight after he started begging for me to stop. He sent some true love to my corp ceo at the time. Laughs all around. This Sig is Within Rules. :P

A month or so ago, some noob a corp mate befriended wanted to go out pirating with us. Being the nice guy I am I of course let him (more points and dps is always good )
So we got him in gang with his little merlin, we're all in AFs and ceptors (most fun kind of gang in low sec imo, small enough to warp out of gatecamps before getting locked, enough speed tackle and DPS to put out some hurt even on high profile targets...) and so at some point while we're getting organized I ask what he's fitting. He rattles off a list of items including t2 everything exept warp scrambler, down to a t2 damage controll. At the time, t2 damage controlls were retailing for around 12 million, so this caused some raising of eyebrows in corp chat (this was pre-vent for us) but otherwise we just shrugged it off as noobish bragging atempting to impress us.
Four jumps into roaming and we're all anoyed as hell by this guy. He has no claimed to be ultra rich, and to have had a "famous" pirate alt previously, who he had to delete because he was too well known, and other such idiocy. Despite it all, he was a very nice guy and I'm sure he was only trying to impress us because he thought we were cool. I doubt he was older than 13.
I told everyone in corp chat to wait for my signal, warped us all to a safe spot, pretended to be scanning, then gave the signal. We then proceded to gank + pod him, seemingly (to him) without warning.
Needless to say there was no t2 damage controll in his loot.
I did kinda feel bad about it latter... Is it a 12-13 years old's fault that they're 12-13 years old?
Maybe not, but it's a free killmail ----

We had some new players from our old bf2 clan wanting to give the eve trial a go. So my mates thought it would be good to make a trial account team to play with them and teach them some ****. Trial gank team type thing. Problem was noone else in our group bothered so I spent my time smack talking and getting ppl to duel me, it was quiet fun but hard to find combatants. I ended up in jita due to the masses of ppl and thinking surely someone will fight. Quite a task actually, not many would unless i smack talked it up a bit. Anyway in this local smack-banter i said that if ppl beat me they could pod me. I was then informed you cannont pod in empire [i been in 0.0 since end of my first week in eve so i actually didnt even know that}. Anyway, that got me thinking, can you pod someone in empire before getting concorded. I built up a thrasher with gyros, sensor boosters and tech II arty and 1x rocket launcher. Now dont get me wrong im not a griefer, i just wanted to see if i could pop a pod. So i jump in the thrasher and sit outside of the main station in Jita. I wait for someone to exit in a pod... i wait.... i wait.. i wait... I wait more and go and get stoned.. come back.. wait more and more.. Then low and behold, my overview shows a nice shiney pod exiting the station!! Afer all that waiting i was pumped, i didnt check info or nothing, i frantically fired up all my modules and then proceed to target the pod. It targets and kaboom off goes my volley, hurtling towards the poor unsuspecting pod. At the same time concord come in and blast me to bits. The dust settles and im sitting there and there is no sign of the pod. Im not sure if i had taken it out or not. I then check my flashing mail icon.. 2007.03.02 08:10
Victim: xxxxxxxxxxx Alliance: NONE Corp: State War Academy Destroyed: Capsule System: Jita Security: 0.9
Involved parties:
Name: mydingaling (laid the final blow) Security: -1.7 Alliance: NONE Corp: Teabag Team Ship: Thrasher Weapon: 250mm Light Artillery Cannon II
Woot!! got the pod!! I then check the players name out, do a show info. Its a young toon, so i think its just some alt, i check agent standings to verify and to my horror i see agent standings, quite a few, yup it was a new player and it was his main. By looking at the standings he had rather enjoyed his carebearing up till that fateful podding. Been around just long enough he probably had some implants from his tutorial early missions etc. He disconnected instantly after the podding and never logged back in. I sent an eve mail asking him to contact my main but yeah to this day he hasnt logged back in so assume he quit for good. I truly felt horrible at the time and really guilty for destroying some new nubs life.

Wow, im impressed.
I understand pirating. I understand that ganking is the name of the game. I understand popping people after they pay ransom.
But, baiting people into low sec? Tricking them into gangs? Scams of all sorts?
And then, you call everyone except most x<-5 pirates carebares, hate all "carebares" like they personally insult you by playing the same game as you are, and on top of all, keep saying that there is not enough prey in low sec???
Good luck CCP on getting people out of NPC corps and out of empire.
With downsides of being an outlaw or scammer as low as they are now i fully understand why a lot of players are paranoid even when in empire.

Edited by: DubanFP on 02/04/2007 14:04:31 A week or two ago i was minding my own buisiness ratting from my private PoS when i noticed a punisher entered my system, i realized that there was likely going to be an industrial following up behind him so i grabbed my hurricane and went in just behind the shuttle. Sure enough a badger shows up and BOOM. The punisher shows up and BOOM. Next thing a raven shows up and i just couldn't take him since he had no web/scram and i had to go 20km "under fire" before getting into range so i ran. Now this isn't that bad, but it gets better.
I notice on the Killmail it mentions some fuel popped "all of which can easily bought 5-6 jumps away at nearest station". After i'm reasonable certain the Raven has left i return to find the punisher pilot in a condor on his way to loot the wreck. He runs off and i check the badger wreck. CRAPLOADS of fuel, some stuff that can only be bought 30+ jumps away in empire. They're no doubt coming back in new industrial to pick up, and since I didn't have time to get badger and take for my PoS I blasted the wrecks taking all the loot with it. The condor "watching this from 100km away" screamed YOU $#@$#@#!!!! on local.
I left them with nothing but the need to make another 30+ jump trip back through some of the most pirate infested 0.0 in EVE. I'm such an ass, but it was TOTALLY worth it.
edit: i would also like to add that every single time i've seen them pass an industrial through my system since they've had at least 2-3 combat ships flying escort. ______________________

This was back in the warp to 15km days...
I answered a plea for help against a pirate in local. Jumped in, shot down the pirate (but not his pod), saving the pilot of this badly shot up Mission BC.
He offered a reward, a couple of million isk and so being the nice person I was I offered to use my remote repair skill to help fix him up.
So I locked him, scrambled him, destroyed his ship and then podded him.

Lets see I made this low sp alt, and I went into a .4 zone and I just got done poping a few ships that day and I had something along the lines of -0.2 or so nothing much. I hit the scanner an see a rifter in the belts, so I quickly locate it and go there and once he see's me he warps out, and I ask why he's so skittish and he words are "Your a pirate" my reply was "No im not a pirate, I just got into a few fights to save my mining friends from pirates". So I rat a bit ahead of him for awhile to let him get his guard down so he see's wrecks and once he feels confortable around me I warp to his belt hit my AB to him and scram him and pop his ship and than proceed to ransom. Moral of this story, dont believe me.
Another time I found a nice Rifter ratting in the same system and myself being in a Rifter figured why not it sounds like a nice fight. I fly down scram him and pop him, than scram his pod and ask for a ransom, something like 10mil cheap for a 7month old player. Instead he hits self destruct .
My personal favorate though is the pirated who was mining, a -10 player. He was in a mining barge I found in a belt, I quickly found him but couldnt close the distance to scram him, and he warped out of the system. Followed him for about 10jumps and finally found him, he made his get away again. So one more jump and I found him at the gate, I caught up scrambled him and proceeded to try to pop the poor bugger. Sadly he had T2 drones and I was in a Rifter, I made it out with 90% of my hull and him halfway into armor. Something that I didnt know though was that I accidently tackled him for a typhoon that just jumped into the system who finished him off. Ohh was that pilot ****ed More swearing and cusswords than I thought possible were strung into a sentence. And somehow im his new goal in life, he wants to make me to quit eve

Addendum: Also, to avoid a sec hit (I was sub-Jita levels and I needed to buy ****), I bumped a Covetor in a belt in Mara over and over, instead of scrambling him, while a single cruiser Guristas shot him... ever... so... slowly... to... death. 1. Stole 40 units of Omber from a 2 day character. He didn't know the flagging rules, and paid dearly for it. 2. A guy shot me before I took his stuff, Concord'd. 3. Talked the same guy into being my buddy, lured him out to low sec with a REAL friend waiting in a cruiser. Popped his hauler, blocked me without a word. 4. Fit an Industrial with a MWD and played pool with the miners in high sec.

With a different character to start! i made a 1man griefing corp and dec'd an ASCN newb training corp. flying round in an uber gank munnin of doom as they flapped about with 3 BS lots of cruisers and frigs in empire, smacking me for not engaging. I consistantly told them i had a spy in the corp and that for 300mil i would end the war. and for 500mil i would end the war, and reveal the spy. I did this all the time, as simply another method of causing paranoia and hysteria within the corp. this lead to them getting more desperate, and eventually taking the 300mil tag and disbanding.
the swinging point was i warped to the station they based out of, and the main fleet was the other side, but as i dropped out i saw an osprey warp to a belt (only thing in that direction) i followed at range, hit him to half armor and he got out. he convo'd me within seconds and started asking how i knew he was there. i obviously replied saying my spy told me etc. Then i get convo from a head honcho saying "hang on.... isk sent, who is the spy?" i checked my wallet and straight from the ASCN main he had sent me 500mil.
I quickly browsed thru ppl online who i had buddylisted and picked out one poor git. who hadnt been there long etc, i said i couldnt provide proof as i was at my GFs for the week, but ill provide when i get back.
get back home a week later and get a convo asking for proof, quickly photoshoped it up, and sent it, the head honcho said "thanks, we felt bad the other night as we podded XXX and he didnt understand on TS, even after we flamed him, he really did sound innocent" i said "well theres the proof" and off i flew 500mil richer

Yes, because everyone who quits because of griefing is a WoW noob...
Hate to break it to you, but a lot of nice and friendly and non-noobish people want to play MMO games at least partly because of the community aspect of said games, and if the first couple of player encounters put them against griefers like you, they could quite reasonably think that the whole EVE community is like you and just leave for another game with a presumably better community.
But by all means, keep thinking you are doing the game and the rest of its community a favor by being an antisocial griefer, if that makes you feel better.

This didn't actually happen to me but, i was there and stuff...
I'm sitting on my carebear char putting up one of those things that blow up really easily(small POS) and all of a sudden I see this one guy way younger than me come into local. He starts chatting about his love of his cruiser and how good he is at PvP.
Next, I pirate shows up in local. I quickly hit the scan button because my shield was still in the process of going up. The pie is in a osprey and the other guy was in a rax I believe. Anyways, we all start talking and this pie says that he is a miner(story goes like this)....
Pie > I'm really a miner. Other guy/me > LOL then why are you blinky red? Pie > I just bought this char. I wanted something that could PvP with but he can't go to high sec. And, I can't use my barge yet.
At this point we're all getting along. I'm just sitting in my hauler turning mods on my POS and preping fuels etc.
Pie > Could either of you come attack these rats. I can't deal enough damage. Other guy > Sure man what belt? Pie > blah blah belt blah Other guy > (15 secs later) - WTF Why are you attacking me? WTF!?!?
Me/Pie > LOL, pWn'D
If I still had the entire convo I'd post it =/ It was hilarious though. I mean he had us both going on and on about different things you would normally tell a new person to the game like we were showing him something when he pulled out all the stops and ganked that other guy. ROFL. He shoulda been an actor, shoulda been.
Anyways, funny stuff him coning and killing the other dude hehe.

Edited by: T''Karr on 03/04/2007 13:47:20 lol, I guess I can qualify for being cold blooded, noob in cruiser in 0.0 providence, probably an alt spy, moaned and moaned, sounded genuine enough. It was a cruiser my alt could fly, so I offered to let him go if he ejected (my alt had lost his tackling ship earlier). I then popped him.
In my new corp (after getting annoyed at being a carebear) ran across some old alliance member while out learning to pvp. So we gank him. Couple minutes later he is back, gets popped pdq. Couple minutes later, back and popped again. Rinse and repeat, I felt guilty up untill a while ago where he lumped us with you guys, and said I had to move a can in their space or they would kill it.
As for the griefing some of you guys get up to...... I play games for the challenge, and the reward from overcoming them. I dont see the point in ganking nubs, but each to their own I guess.

Logging in an eight month old market alt to check market prices I see a few people in the npc corp whining about good mining locations. I offer to take them to a 'system I know' where there is good mining and we'll meet some warships for support at the belts. I start showing them prices of the minerals they will mine and tell them of all the lovely things they can buy.
Why do I feel evil? I took them to Amamake When the first pirate turned up I told the gang our first support ship had arrived.... and to wave to it. No one made it out alive, even I got podded as I was laughing too much to care.

I'm just thinking of the countless newbies I've caught mining in cruisers in lowsec I've ransomed for their cruiser's insurance worth (yeah, I'll do anything for 3mil ISK) who've offered me their cargo contents instead because they can't afford the ransom...
...which I've accepted. I don't really want 37 units of veldspar and a multispectral crystal laser (which you'd be doing what with on a mining exequeror anyway?).

wow, framing a random person and getting them kicked from corp. i think that one crosses over from cold hearted to downright cruel.
You sir win this thread.
I'm a big fan of the INFOD Drone Lottery. When we scan down a mission runner and lock him down (and assumining he doesn't loggoffski) the fleet gets called in and everyone puts their weakest drone on him until he pops. The winner gets 1mil from all the participants. We had one guy locked down for around 15 minutes while our fleet slowboated through deadspace mission gates. HARR HARR HARR.
We warped to a belt to help out an ally the other day, too late unfortunately to help him. However a lone stabber warped in on our 15 man BS/CS/Recon blob. 'DRONE LOTTERY' He screamed in local for us to stop... but meh, we lolled as his stabber popped under our drones and we podded him. ------------ Request for Privateer Sticky! Keep the forums clean!

was ratting in 0.0 to raise sec and funds, and a zealot jumped in to system, convoes me and asks if i have instas for a certain 20jumps to empire. while my mind races, i say 'sure, but with the insta changes can only copy 5 at a time'
so i create some story of, need more ammo for npcing anyway, u wait here, il get more ammo while copying instas ( i think he was gonna pay me 5m or something)
so back i jump, refit tempest with the only stuff i can get (800mms t1, 2 neuts and 1 siege :s) and then em and thermal hardeners. jump back up, drop 1 torp in a can for him to pick up, dual web him, attempt a ransom...while he begs, then kill him as ransom wasnt going anywhere.
got some nice faction loot and my 1st hac kill...all because a kid wanted instas...and i had -5 sec.
after i just sat at my comp, had a lil smoke and pondered...realising there and then that i have no conscience in eve

I dunno how cruel this counts as but it was pretty screwed up all the same. I was in low sec of Sinq Liason when some cate in a rifter tried to attack me. So I killed him. Which would have been that but he tried a second time, so I killed his stabber. He escalates to a Cyclone... so I take the initiative and kill him before he tries to attack me again, and this time just take the sec hit and pod him. All of this was in an Arbitrator.
I get an eve-mail that he's angry I was pirating him. Three fights, he attacked the first two times. He's going to get his daddy on me. Seriously. The guy was 14 years old and sicked his father and a buddy on me.
Switch ships, kill them (barely though I add) and get the "We have more uber alts / friends / allies than you speech" At which point I'd enopugh of the chatter and lwoered myself to their level in the smack war. It ended with some bad things about their whole family, wether or not they should bring their mother or sisters for my amusement afterwords, and some generally nasty things said by both parties in the long run. I dont know why I didnt get petitioned save they may have feared the same thing. End of the day I'd killed Son A 3 times with a pod, Son B twice, and Father once.
A small family's eve enjoyment ruined for about a week as I continued my personal little war against them untill they moved on. I sort of miss them. The loot wasn't bad.

Later there-in I flew a deimos up that I bought with the isk, found the guy looking for some payback and destructed it in his face. Was rather clear that the ship was bought with his 250m.
Smack and crying ensued, podded him again and called it a day.

Also did some BS ransoms with Space Invaders way back when BS's were brand new and veeery expensive, got ppl to eject and paid them litle if anything. The insureance was crap back then. Also ransomed ppl outside stations useing ECM to jam the sentry's when they only had two sentry's. Later in the game we were gate camping in a 0.4 system and were trying to ransom a Mega and the pilot was a tuff guy, told us to **** of, pushed the self-destruct button, ejected, my mate borded his ship, we got the insureace money and the pilot got podded..

So anyway, this got me to thinking: what is just the hardest, meanest, most cold blooded thing you've done in Eve? Inquiring minds want to know.
Back in the day, back when mines were still in the game, we had a corp mate that used to fall asleep on ops all the time. Wed be camping a gate or whatever, and go to move, and this guy would always be asleep at the keyboard so wed have to yell and scream on TS for 20 minutes till he woke his ass up and logged off so we could move on.
One night we got fed up when he fell asleep, so we gang warped him to a safe spot and laid a huge minefield around his ship, so he couldnt even move to align for warp without hitting one.
Then we left and flew 30 jumps away continuing our patrol.

It had best remain a niche game! The system's straining under its burgeoning popularity as it is; I hate to think what would happen if it became (gasp!) mainstream.
For those of you getting all inflated over the evil-ness here, I can't help but feel that you're missing a great deal of the point of EVE, what makes it different. This game is utterly cutthroat; that's a lot of its charm. I'm not even a pirate, but if it weren't for the chance to be (or be victimized by) an utterly vicious bastard, I wouldn't ever have started playing.
So, not to get all dismissive, but if you want to play a game where you'll be protected from this sort of thing, you really are welcome to leave. You'll be happier without the constant threat, and both the pirates and I'll be happier not having to listen to the whining.
EVE is niche. It'll always be niche. It was designed to be niche, and if it ever stops being niche, it'll be in big trouble due to server demands, and, by the way, I'll quit.

One day a guy whos in a corp that my alliance has a NAP with, comes into 'my' system. The guy is a new player and recently got himself a BC (cant remember which one it was) and some brand spanking new T1 equipment for it.
Long story short, he gets caught ratting in a belt by the local pirates. Seeing I'm blue to him and chilling outside a station in my carrier, he cries for my help. IRL I raise an eyebrow, calmly switch over to alliance chat and ask: Say, does our NAP policy involve having to help each other out if we're under attack...say from...pirates?
At the time I'm also on TS, so someone on there inquires as to why I'm asking and I go like "Oh cause theres a guy here under attack from pirates whos dark blue to us" - Following that, the guy on TS asks "Well, can you help him? I mean can you save him?", my response: "Oh yeah easily, thats not what im asking..I'm asking, do I have to?", - "...Well...no I guess not", to which I say "Oh okay! Good."
I have a sort of alliance with the local pirates, and they pretty much do what I tell them to do and we help each other out now and then. So when I mentioned the guy they were killing was blue to me, the pirates sent me convo, asking me a few questions.
And to finally make more sense of why this was indeed cruel, I turned back to my private convo with one of the pirates and said: "Yes, I'm sure it's okay you blow him up now".
1. I could've have helped him the second I saw he was in trouble 2. I could've helped when he cried for help 3. I could've helped after a corpmember suggested I do if I could 4. I could've just told the pirates "He's with me, leave him alone" 5. I could've just told the pirates "Ahh let him go, I'm blue to him".
But...I didn't HAVE to

I still have regrets about this: Back in ASCN when we removed Tribal Souls one guy quit their alliance. Simple rly - well not quite...... 1)All his stuff was in Paragon Soul 2)His clone was there too.......
Sitting in UD- on the route to empire - with no dictor and on a completly different operation he jumped in and warped to our gate. This was in the days before wtz and he wasnt on insta - so first we get and kill his megathron loaded with loot and pod him - to his screams of: "PLEASE NOOOOOOO"
He then shows 15mins later in another mega - again filled with T1 stuff now. Killed/podded - again screaming for mercy in local.
Then 15mins later in a hauler....... again....
Then 15mins later in a velator.
Being a npc corpie - he couldn't have updated his clone. Stupid or whatever I still get a chill when I think of the begging about his clone in local..... He could have taken a different route tho.....

I was down in parts and had caught a 5 day old Hyperion with my throw away blasterax. Blew up his drones, took him into structure and convoed, purely to offer tips on safety and so I could leave him to seek his fortune amongh the stars.
Convo rejected
"Well", I says to meself, "The least we can do is try to recoup on our investment"
So I say in local that I will let him go in exchange for 2,950 isk. Now, we know he was there because when I found him he'd not yet launched his drones nor activated guns.
One minute goes by. Two, three... So I lose patience once his shields are halfway regenerated and blow the ship apart around his ears. Now the poor boy comes back immediatly in local and yells at me for killing him during a lag spike. I engage in this delighful conversation for a few more minutes and offered to pay the insurance on his ship and trade back his modules in station
For some reason he continued in his hostile language, so I added him to the meat locker

Ill set the scene for you...had been camping in pf-346 for about twenty minutes when i decided to have a break in orvolle. And these two guys who were obviously new to the game in their shiny new drakes asked me to escort them to pf to rat. So needless to say i docked up, fitted an extra disrupter...and im sure you can guess the rest.
Although i must say after getting eve mails for a few days afterwards i felt kinda bad, they were brothers who had been saving up for a few mothes for the trip to 0.0. I just see it as teaching them a valuable lesson in eve

Edited by: DubanFP on 16/04/2007 01:25:08 I'm not sure if this one qualifies as cold-hearted like my earlier post because this guy had it coming, but still a very funny story.
Basically this idiot was placing cargo containers in the deadspace areas of the newbie zones "pre-revolution when exploding ships dropped cargo cans instead of wrecks" and then he would blow up the agressed newbies. Now 0.0 is free country and i'll love cause tons of suffering there "like my earlier story on page 2", but blowing up 1st day newbies in thier starter ships... that's just low.
I've killed tons of ships but this guy in particular was annoying. So i sacrificed a bantam to his caracal and came back in a Raven and got him. He pleaded for me not to kill his ship so i ransomed him for 2 million, then i made him say "Uncle DubanFP you're way too powerful for me" to all the newbies in local. I then told him to pick a number from 1 to 10 and this would be the last one, if he guessed it right i would let him go. After he had guessed i told him the right number was 13 and promptly blew up his ship. ______________________

My best one: Before joining Privateers, we'd got bored and started pirating.
Myself in a Flycatcher and corp m8 t0bor in a rifter were out in low sec with a Flycatcher and a rifter. We jump a .4 system with 10 or so belts, and hit a planet and start scanning. Sure enough we find a Megathron mining ... solo, and several of his corp m8's in system somewhere. We manage to scan the mega down, and warp to the belt. I warped in at 40, t0bor at 15. I begin an orbit at 30 and start the missle spammage, t0bor heads in and starts the scramble. Turns out that the mega is stabbed and he warps to safe. We talk over ts and he states he can kit 3 scramblers for a 6 str total scram... one problem its 3 jumps away. "what the hell, lets give it a go", we agree on ts. So, he makes the trip to re-kit, and I warp from belt to belt baiting our prey. I am not followed, but I warp from belt to belt in hopes of getting caught. 5 or so minutes later and t0bor is back. We warp to safe and start scanning belts, the mega is back, solo mining. We manage to catch up to him, this time... 6 scramble strength.
The scramble starts, and the mega holds still, and the missle spammage starts. In a vain attempt, the mega pilot dumps drones, but we make pretty short work of T1 heavies. I see a vigil warp in about 25k from me, one of his corpies in to help him ... I lock him, fire, he pops.. insta volley. A condor follows not long behind him... same result. We get the mega to about 20% structure and I start a convo with the pilot, it goes something like this: "20 mil or the mega pops, you have 10 seconds to deposit the isk in my wallet" "Its not mine, its the corps", he replies. "10 seconds, its your choice". "I'm telling you its not mine", he states. "5 seconds". .... "Ok", I say over ts. "pop him". We pop the mega, and then scramble his pod. We tried to get him to pay for his pod, he disagrees, and wakes up in a cloning station.

I ran a scam that I dare not mention ever on how I did it, but the circumstances were perfect, and tbh, it couldn't ever been pulled off again. That being said, I got a random guy in Jita to hand 600million isk to me. I still have the guy in my address book, and someday, maybe someday, I'll give him his isk back......nah, probably not.

So.. This is not that bad, but i found it pretty funny.
I had just moved my ships down south, so i could go shoot some bob's. I dock up at a station with my domi, and just arrange some containers with my different stuff. I then see this guy in local, who is asking "Is this system any good"? I tell him that theres no pirates, and the ore is NICE. Hence why i moved down. He didnt quite trust me, so i undocked in my domi, and went to the first belt. I then told him, that if he didnt trust me, just warp to the first belt, and he will see the nice ore!
Needless to say, he warped to the belt, and his poor ferox with 1 caro expander on, blew up

Well, maybe not a cold blooded but funny like poster above.
Was waiting on aggro timer to go down in belt after taking on EW cruiser, about year old guy comes into local and warps to last belt where I am at waiting on timer, he with full commitment attacks me in his T2 fitted rax, after about 30ish secs he ends up in pod and warps out leaving my humble almost 2 month old person with his T2 loot. Then he starts to rain mails at me asking for a 'fair' fight, with 'honor' and 'courage'. Apparently explaining to him that if he lost a ship then attempt to get someone into trap didnt work out and I became a usual 'yr nub!'.
Sad story, but was quite fun. ---

Yesterday I was mining and doing schoolwork in empire. I look up from my books and see a flashing red dude warp away from the belt. I warp back to the station an hop in my ishkur and return to the belt. As I am coming out of warp I notice he disapears from local. He either left through the single gate or he logged. Just to be sure, I warp to the gate and jump through it. [At this point I still dont even know what he is in]. I spawn in system and catch him just as he again leves local. Three gates to choose from, I made a random guess and tried to persue. I pop out on the other side of the gate and there he is. Lock, Scrambler, Shoot, Drones, Boom.
Turns out he was about 10 days old in a Thrasher and he hadn't even stolen my ore. He had just looted a wreck nearby my barges. His corp mates hadn't explained how can stealing works or that you might wana check around for the can's owner before you loot it. Worst part is that he was still on his trial account and hadn't decided to keep playing or not.
I feel pretty bad for possibly keeping yet another noob out of eve. =/

Edited by: Sunny Mooninite on 24/04/2007 13:47:39 I spent 30 minutes getting all buddy buddy with a guy who used 2 accounts to rat in 0.0. I talked about my family, got him to talk about his, acted like I admired his clever playing style. Meanwhile, I'm in gang chat getting my evil friends stoked and salivating and waiting on the gate while I talk this clown into taking me out ratting cuz I'm too scared to go by myself.
So I get him in his Mega and his alt in a jaguar out in the belts then I warp scramble the Mega while my buddies jump in and pop his AF and the mega.
He evemailed and said he was disappointed and he thought we were friends, and I was like, "Nah sorry, none of my friends would have fallen for such a weak trick." ------------------------ In RL I wanted to dump this girl so I talked her into letting me stick it in her ****er, and afterwards I was like, "I don't think I could date someone who takes it in the ass."
EDIT: OMG, look at the above statement and see what it censored. Ass is ok, but a childs word for ***** was censored. Wacky.

Edited by: Algorithm 5 on 24/04/2007 13:49:31 I logged on one morning to check skills, and a friendly was complaining in local that a member of my alliance was warping into his ratting belts in a Caracal, stealing his loot and killing the seed rats, and what should he do because we have a policy of retracting outpost access for killing other friendlies, even if they are being *******s.
The dude wouldn't respond to convo or anything and just kept doing it.
No implants in, so what the hell. Jumped in one of the stand by disposable blackbirds, fitted purely for caldari ecm and tackle.
Warped to the belt. Scram, web, perma-jam, orbit at 500m. The alliance member still wouldn't talk, so told the friendly to make sure he kept killing the rats off, apologised, then walked out the door and went to work. :)
The friendly told me later he was talked and jammed for 4 hours before he forgot about the rats and we both got popped.

This happend to me quite long ago, but I still remember it as one of my funniest eve moments. It's not really cruel either, but still quite funny.
Some corp was doing a large mining op in a 0.5 system (Hek I think), and had some of their own guys as protection and a few guys from another corp (They were really over-doing the protection for a 0.5 system...).
I was in desperate need of some cash so I did some ore thieving. I was already fairly well known in the area, but this corp was from another place (They had been stripping all the belts in the system all day).
I warped to them in my little hauler seeing if i could get a share of their ore. As soon as I approached their cans, they all targeted me. I hung around a bit, talking a bit in local and checking out some of the other cans to see which one had more in it.
For some reason, they (The corp doing the op) though I had stole something, so they all shot me. Got me halfway down to hull before concord saved me. Ofcource I lol'ed in local and the guys they hired also lol'ed quite a bit. I started talking to them and they agreed the miners were a bunch of dumb wussies not worth their time. They left the gang and warped off.
Now I had free game and took all the ore I could (The miners getting really angry in local). I quickly warped to a safespot and waited a bit. After about 10 minutes, nothing happened and all was quiet again so I decided I might as well go back to a station.
Unfortunatly their protection squad just undocked as I approached the station (And this was before wt0), so while I realigned for warp, they killed me.
I almost made it, and even though I was completely broke after this incident, I laughed my ass off!
Other cruel things I do is kill n00bs who can't pay ransom (Because they don't have the cash, or are on trail) and stuff like that.

Originally by: MiztikZ With a different character to start! i made a 1man griefing corp and dec'd an ASCN newb training corp. flying round in an uber gank munnin of doom as they flapped about with 3 BS lots of cruisers and frigs in empire, smacking me for not engaging.

I'm bored so i'll write up another story.
My alt was hopping about the trade channels like he normally does when his on, and met a guy wanting to buy a Phoenix.
It was his brothers birthday the day after and he wanted to give him something special, so using the last bits of his ISK he was going to get him what he most wanted, but could not afford, a caldari Dreadnought class ship!
Being the helpfull sort, my alt ofcourse offered to sell him said dread. He is part of a consortium of legitimate nigerian businessmen who dabble in this sort of thing.
Long story short (and hiding my methods from the compeition) I recieved 1.78 Billion ISK from the vic...ehm, person :).
Now, when he discovered that the dread had by magic gone up in smoke and he would never get his hands on it he was dissapointed naturally, he could no longer afford a gift from his brother and after laughing my ass off at his sulking in the conversation I logged off for the night with a smile.
A few days later a guy from his corp messages me, asks me why his buddy is quitting eve. I told him the story, and the guy tells me apparantly he had one of his characters banned when trying to scam dreadnoughts
I look up and lo and behold...the char is in a corp imitating my alt corp, with a copy paste of my bio, not even bothering to change corp names etc.
Apparantly, one of his would be victims had half a brain, looked up the miss-matching corp's on his characted and reported him, posing as someone else while scamming means an instant perma ban so not only did I skin him for, his brothers birthday gift and his entire fortune.
I took him from one eve account and left him to quit the game.
Now, i've made quite a few people quit the game, but this is by far my favourite episode.
Kublai - Keeping World of Warcraft in business while preserving the integrity of eve since 2006! (That's right, Kublai's newbie, a stinking rich newbie with a shiny corp history and more SP than any of the local alt-spammers, hate me people, hate me!). Kublai is looking for a new corp! recruit me today |

Got told that if i let him dock he would pay 50mill for it as he was carrying nothing other than liquid ozone, turned round and said a killmail would mean more to my gang than 50mill
Was rather ****ed off when the 32 t2 1200 howitzers went bang =(...and the 200'000'000 units of liquid ozone.....

not so much evil, but was damned great.
few days ago, gate activates, and the "indutrial" icon shows on overview all nice and flashing, i lock, srcam and kill, just as it hits strt i notice its a hulk, which i think carp could have ransomed that nicly, no loot (no fittings and only a rifter in the hold so must have been new or being moved) but...
as usual another ship locks me, not sure if to monitor the fight or to see if i agro him and get concord on my ass but he fired a weapon, and i was non agro to him, concord pop his little atron, but 2 cargo hold rigs drop in its loot! all i can think of is it was the hulk pilots alt and he was using the wrong client :S
so went from very ****ed off hulk pilot and me with no money or loot, to a really ****ed pilot and about 80mils of loot from a totally unrelated event :D
got alot of hate from that one :)

My favorite trick is to go to my local 0.4 system in a Ishkur. I proceed to the level one plex and warp in to the first gate. I wait for all the 3 day to 1 month old noobs to venture into low sec and try out a plex. I love welcoming the all to low sec.
The greatest time I had two 2 week old players were trying to gank a solo pilot I warped in jammed one popped him. the second one bugged out and the solo pilot precedes to thank me for saving him until I sent him to the clone farm.
The best part is when they start asking me how I got a cruiser into a lvl 1 plex. All I could do is shake my head.

Was alot of WTF in local, I also poped their ore cans they had been happly mining into for hours, another time I landed on top of some hauler in a torp raven. I one vollyed him and then podded him instantly with a smart bomb, he was carrying trade goods his entire investment and it was destroyed =/
Now though when I kill people its all just a blurr, just another sqaure shaped thing ready to be destroyed. |

its quite a long time ago now, when i engaged somebody in my brandnew raven, i think it was a geddon, shieldtanked as armortanking was not really invented then... i approached it while spiting torpedoes on its weak tank. at above 30% armor, the pilot ejected and tried to escape. i did not hesitate , ejected aswell to get his ship out before it will break. he could go nowhere due to the torpedosplashdmg that would have been killed him anyway...
...

!! ...in the moment i ejected i realized it. and there it came, the last mjolnir my raven had fired. kawumm, 2 podkills with just 1 shoot for a thousand isk. can cruelty be more efficent than that?

I once had my alt in a shuttle on a 5/10 drone plex gate in low-sec and some noob pirate in a rifter goes for me and i didnt notice it, and this is what happend:
Pirate > Talk Pirate > Fast My alt > i pay My alt > 100k to let me go Pirate > How much ? Pirate > nah My alt > :( My alt > please i have children Pirate > lmao
He then pops my shuttle and starts to kill my pod, so i say nooo!! ill pay 10 mil in local, he then convos me again:
My alt > plz My alt > 10mil Pirate > Start talking Pirate > Umm.. My alt > 10.000.000 Pirate > 11 My alt > hmm My alt > hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm My alt > 10mil Pirate > 11 mil Pirate > Fast My alt > 10mil please My alt > i have children Pirate > 11 My alt > i only have 12mil in wallet atm :9 Pirate > Mhmm.. My alt > and no clone >_< Pirate > 10 mil Pirate > Ok, i wont be mean Pirate > 10 mil My alt > 5mil ok Pirate > 10 now Pirate > or bye bye My alt > i dont have much please My alt > no clone Pirate > You said 10! Pirate > 10 mil now Pirate > or i pop My alt > sorry i dont have much My alt > i worked hard for all Pirate > So am i Pirate > 8/9 mil then Pirate > Now, or thats it My alt > 5 man i dont have much please Pirate > 7 mil Pirate > or i shoot My alt > i dont want to lose skill My alt > please My alt > im new Pirate > Then pay, and you wont lose My alt > but i dont have many Pirate > Ok, say bye My alt > :( My alt > sorry Pirate > Ok Pirate > 6 mil Pirate > Final offer Pirate > Fine
By the end of this convo he didnt notice my main in a crow sneaking up to him.
I tought it was a good lesson for a new pirate, you should never spend too much time on a ransom and try to stick with your ransom demand, but i did felt a little cold about tricking him like that so gave him his loot back and 5mil for a new rifter.
Actually this is not that cold at all but i tought it would be nice to share it anyway

Oh, I certainly can. And I fail to see how someone who delights in this sort of behavior online could be any different in real life. I've been online a while and the only real difference I've seen in people between their online and offline personas is that they are more brash online because there are less consequences, they'll say and do things they could never get away with in real life.
In a game like Counterstrike, you gib someone and they've lost a few seconds of play time. You play for two hours, everyone has fun gibbing back and forth. Everybody says the losses in EVE hurt more and that's the truth. If someone loses a billion isk, that's months of gameplay for some players. Now it's one thing if you're talking about consensual PVP where all parties know they're putting their jimmies on the chopping block, it's high-stakes gambling. When it's nonconsensual, and especially when the biggest gain is the joy of ****ery and grief, that's pretty diseased.
Those who say "it's only a game" would probably not be as sanguine if the situation were reversed.

You sir sound like a very boring person.
When ppl sign up and play eve they know that as soon as they undock they can be killed and lose everything they have on them. That is part of the game. losing is all part of the game and if you never lost anything then it would be a very dull game indeed.
Ok the dead son comment is a little past where i would draw the line but killing someone's spaceship in an online game, i don't give a damn how long it took him to get it, it's still only a game and anyone who feels the loss emotionally in RL for more than a few minutes is the person that i think is strange not the ppl who take pleasure from blowing them up.

Not 2 sure if it was evil since i never intended it to happen, but I would be very ****ed if it was my ship... anywho -> About 1wk b4 the snow balls melted I decided to use mine, so off I went to a nice 0.8 system, I spammed local about how I was going to shoot people with snow balls and not to fire back etc.. So after about 5min of people beggin my to shoot them with my last remaining ball I decided to lock a mega, I fire away, after about my 2nd ball hitting him, he had me targeted, I though nothing of it since most people auto target back, but when he started flashing red well... I laughed. needless to say this guy hadn't checked local and lost his nice new t2 fitted mega :D.. made me laugh, cry, and ask in local how he was so dumb :) in the end I paid him 10m for the km :P (but made about 200m from the loot)

back in 2003 you could visit each region and place as many buy orders as you wished. I placed hundreds for very low prices. Each week i would buy battleships for 6.5 million isk. In those days there was no warning you were selling below market average - the deal was done - and it was too bad. I got some very nasty mails from that. Think i made my first billion that way. Still find battleships now in my assets. And back then there was no such thing as 0.0 npc bs to hunt/farm....money was tight.
i also had this horrible habit of killing corp mates during combat practice. It is not a nice thing to slowly watch a corp mate's battleship blow up.
But the best.....i once found an enemy asking for a hauler to help mine!!!!! quickly i had a hauler deliverd to the said system by my corp m8 and mined/hauled his ore for a solid four hours, whilst i "bigged" him up about how good he was at mining.
That was a better rush than pvp once his corp mates slowly came on line to discover whom he was mining with, and for them to inform him that he was being ripped off. We all had a good laff afterwards at that one - even the victim....bless him.
then there was that golden period of the 9.5mill shuttles...

Good thing I'm not fooling around in 0.0 areas after reading this.
I just don't get how most people are able to lure someone into low sec and nice talk them. I've never been popped nor lost a ship, but that is only due to my stubborn reason of not trusting anyone. I see low sec people often try to become your "friend" when ratting in low sec, since they are in the area to guard a corp miner or something...and every time they pull of the "I'll just warp to you to help you". Forget it :-P
Anything below 0.5 can't be trusted, nuff said. Luckily Amarr low sec is pretty empty. --- Currently flying a PvE geared Crusader and Prophecy |

being a merc can be boring at times. we declare war, fight for 2 days and sit outside of stations waiting for 5. so i got a little edgey, took my hawk with t2 missles a couple of systems over looking for a fight. i saw these two destroyers mining and i started stealing their ore, and then blowing up the can of ore i had just jettisoned. i thought it was funny. they didn't, then they died. then i didn't even bother looting their wreakage. i think i might be a serial killer.

Actually, it's the people who seem utterly incapable of taking their dark sides out for a walk who worry me. If you're Good, and you know you're Good, and it's only other people who are ever Evil, there's no reason to examine your own actions. And then one day you wake up, and you're having people tortured at Guantanamo (though of course you don't call it torture, because torture is bad), 90% plus of whom will eventually turn out to be innocent.
People who don't understand their own capacity for evil, or who deny that it exists, are much more frightening to me than the sort of person who not only understands his or her ability to do wrong but has plumbed its depths to some degree. Between the persistantly righteous crusader and the make-believe evil bastard of a pirate, I'll take the pirate any day.

Me and my buddies were sitting in 0.0 one day chatting on ts while we waited for the poor lonely souls that floated to us from the great beyond. And we got to thinking... It was around 3 in the morning and everyone was pretty much goofin off when nobody was in local. We were fighting each other to see who could kill down to hull first and testing out new mod's and weapons. But eventually the conversations lead elsewhere and in particular towards jita. Se a buddy who was talkin w/us in ts was fitting out his bran-new Hyperion to bring out to camp with us. on the way he got gate-ganked himself... in a 1.0 sys by bloody privateers.
Needless to say he was not happy. So I decided that since someone had ruined my friends day I'd find someone unsuspecting to ruin. So I built an alt char, and fit him all out, skilled him up to a cruiser fitted with, god love em, smart bombs and put a 14 day plan into action. On the 14th day of my char's existence I made my way into jita and sat out side a station and waited... and waited... and waited some more...
There at the entrance many ships entered and exited but none showed up in my overview... that is until he, undocked... I didn't know who he was, but after a quick check of his char sheet proved to me that this was no nube characture. I activated all modules. And his corpse took a swim through space.
Later I got an eve-mail proclaiming 'WTF?!?!' What did I ever do to you?!?!?' It went further into details about my mom and other such matters but the best part of the story was that he had just purchased and installed in his little clone brain the final +5 implant to complete his set and was just heading out of system to pick up a ship and some skills...
At the time I felt fulfilled in my pursuit of causing others pain... but a new plan has since been brewing in my evil little brain... it's in the making and your system is the target.

current most eval thing:- sitting in a station all day, undercutting ppl by 0.01 isk, and when i have to go (to sleep) afk, changing all orders to cost price, just for the sake of it and then laughing at everyone who undercuts me. market greafing is fun.
probeing down mission runners is prity evol too, since the all think there "safe" since the scanning nerf, usaly get good loot off them. i do this alot :p Your signature exceeds the maximum allowed dimensions of 400x120 pixels and filesize of 24000 bytes -Taiatia ([email protected]) |

Once upon a time I was floating around Modun in my Pilgrim, warping to planets and scanning the local area. I happened across a gentleman sitting in a Punisher at a POS, so I warp in under cloak and surely enough, he's using the maintenance array to equip his ship.
Now, this chap was less than a month old and had joined a corp that, in my eyes, were just too full of themselves. A lesson had to be taught to the scallywag!
I waited a little longer and before too long the chap warps off to a nearby planet, most likely in an attempt to scan me down and hope I was ratting in an Executioner or other small frigate.
I give chase, still cloaked and drop out of warp 10km behind the dear fellow. He's quite unaware that I'm behind him, and this is when I strike.
As soon as the cloak drops the locking cycle begins. When he's locked the modules come online. He's instantly warp scrambled, webbed, nossed and has a tracking disruptor on him.
He must have been horrified, to say the least. Eight seconds earlier he thought he was looking for me...
Then, the lasers kick in and the drones are launched. Yes, I fitted T2 lasers to my Pilgrim. I'm an odd one.
Unsurprisingly, his tank can't defeat the amount of damage that I'm sending his way and his armour is flaying off into space. Just as I reach structure he returns fire and manages to sc*****my shields and obliterate his kill rights in the process.
The Punisher exploded, but the dear boy was rather jubilant about the experience in local.

Ranting about it will only make the jokes sicker. Of course, that will make me laugh harder, so by all means, continue, Jolly.

I have to say it. there are just some blackhearted %$#$%$%^%$#$% in this game...damn...just...damn...as an adult, I don't mind at all, makes the game unique, but think about all the kids that play for fun, who are truly hurt by some of these things, I'm just saying you have no idea who's on the other end of that computer screen. I know its hard to tell sometimes whos a kid and whos older but use your instincts and, if you feel its a little kid, at LEAST buy him/her a new ship.

I once ransomed a full officer fitted rattlesnake.
He was in a belt protecting a group of hulks so i decided to move in and engage in my megathron.. started shooting at him for around 10 minutes until he was at 5% structure. I decided to ask him for a ransom of 500mil.. but he paniced and sent 2 billion isk. meanwhile two destroyer rats were engaging him, i laughed to myself in an evil cold blooded way and continued to scramble and web the guy until the rats finished him off removing the 5% structure.. pop he went and i scooped the loot and docked up.
Total isk destroyed was in the region of 11 billion isk and the ransom on top was 2 bil along with 3 bil loot.. totaling up 16 billion isk gone in 15 minutes combat.
i loled for ages :D -------------------- "this is the templar fighter used by carriers" Originaly quoted by Shania Eria.

a while ago i decided to create another alt as cyno pilot, beeing bored i started to read the corp chat of the newb corp.
someone who was obviously new to eve stated he wants to be a pirate, so i convoed him, asking him if he had some skills, if he knew a good system to pirate etc.
since he didnt have much clue, it wasnt so hard to convince him that i was a future-pirate aswell who allready scouted some areas and was ready to start something. I started a new corp with a evil pirate like logo & name, and told him to join this corp. meantime i contacted a friend who agreed to borrow me a hand (well a scrambler, since my alt didnt have propulsion jamming). So i jumped to a 0.4, telling the newb that i would scout an target for us and he shall wait for my signal to jump in. then i warped to my friend, gave the signal, told him "our two punishers are going to **** up that vexor" and waited for him to arrive, when he arrived i started shooting at my friend to convince him everything is normal - and after we both had a lock, we destroyed his punisher and his pod.
he started asking me in corp chat if i got the vexor and if i can help him getting a new ship, i told him it was a trap. he said, yeah he knows, and if we would take revenge i told him "mate, ive set you up" he started telling me to **** off, so i threw him out of the corp, and wrote him a mail why a pirate should have some more skills then him. he logged off and never came back |

Worst thing I've done so far was this...
Found myself a hauler looking for work. I told him I was a miner looking for a good hauler. I played it up real nice, asking things about how much he can carry per load, that we'll split the profits 50/50, all that good stuff. So all's good, and my charismatic self gets him to agree to come out to my little 0.3 system.
Right before he sets off on his way, I tell him I need about 40 minutes to finish training into Miner IIs which I'd like to do before we started.
What this, of course, meant, was that I needed 38 minutes to train into Propulsion Jamming so that I could web and warp scramble him.
After a good 18 jumps, he gets to my system, coincidentally right as Propulsion Jamming finishes. I equip my ship properly for this, and warp to a belt where I have it all set up and waiting. I told him I have my can out and I'm going to start mining and that he can come warp to me whenever he's ready. Not to long after I get the message that he's warping to me now. Now I'm excited, I get everything up and running hot, eagerly awaiting his arrival.
In he comes, there he is, webbed, scrambled, Scourge Heavy Missiles firing away gleefully at his Iteron III. Poor sap didn't even realize what was going on until he was sitting in his pod, which I'd also fitted a Sensor Booster on just to catch. Capsule is webbed and scambled... he engages in a spirited conversation with me for a bit, and then I send him to the old Clone Vat.
I made him come 18 jumps in a hauler just so I could blow him up from the convenience of my own system, without all that mucking about looking for targets.
Now though, the way I figure it, I saved him a lot of time in the end by not making him have to go back the 18 jumps in a Rookie Ship or Shuttle. And since time is money, it's almost like he made a profit when you think about it. I'm glad I could be so generous to him.
All that survived the explosion was a single expanded cargohold, which I will forever keep as a trophy.
I suppose I was a bit mean the next day when he mentioned in chat about how the insurance company should be broke from all the free Rookie Ships they give away, and I told him that they're actually really cheap, and I heard that they're made from Iteron wrecks.

I was crying with laughter so much I had to get my brother to take over.

I was passing through a system when I noticed 3 vexors in a belt. A closer inspection revealed that at least one of them had mining drones out while the third was guarding the roid suckers.
I jumped in with my own vexor, but they were sitting at a jet can some 60km off the warp-in point. I quickly bookmarked the can and warped off. Three jumps later, I fitted my myrmidon with 3 warp disruptors and a sensor booster, went back to the system and jumped to the can.
I landed right on top of them, scramming two of them while the third made it out. Both the remaining vexors released a swarm of drones on me, but both popped before I was even at 70% armor. As the second one went down, their buddy returned with a belly full of combat drones - but he suffered the same fate as his friends.
Well... I laughed.

In a previous corp, we were hanging out in empire while we moved all our stuff to one place to jump it down to our new 0.0 home. A corp that had taken up residency in our old empire stomping grounds started smacking us in local about being pirates and all... They were stupidly sitting in a Megathron, alone, on a station 200km out. We undocked a couple interceptors and immediately warped on top of him. Scrammed, and unable to hit the tacklers, we undocked a couple sniping BS's of our own and killed the Mega in 2 volleys.
Now, this guy was seriously miffed now, and started smacking even more. His corpmate showed up and started telling us how much we'd be sorry when they all came back. And then.. he undocked a Hulk and autopiloted to a gate. Yeah... We warped a BC, 3 Cruisers, and 1 BS to the gate and popped that Hulk (filled with Stront and T2 fittings) in short order, and then warped off to a SS to wait out the criminal flag.
Strangely enough, we never saw or heard from that corp ever again. _______________________________________________

Theres no place in eve for morals and high class etc etc crap....
On that note i had some rich sap in a domi in Mara trying to find some Veto guys to kill. So i offered him a gang. Chatted to him in gang chat while i said i was warping us to a safe just off the gate. We lands at planet 1, hes already told me in gang chat hes fully T2 setup with no stabs or Cap booster. So i happily killed him. 25 minutes later i place his mods on the market in nonni with my alt only to find he ends up buying 80% of them back from me.
Theres also the time i got some sap to gang up with me in his navy raven with Gisti B XL/ dread amp / dread ballistics and dread hardners so i could help him finish off a mission. Ebay accounts FTW (noobs) .... so i then warp to the gate bm it take it back to my alt who is at war with me and enter the deadspace to find he hasnt moved from the warp in point. Alt comes in and i think you get the picture. Safe to say make some nice cash. However one ****ed off cookie.... I got a mining corp to give me director rights with my alt to help them fix there permissions while there ceo was away... Need say no more i think

When in an Industrial corp, I had everyone create a Kamikaze Kestrel alt (this was before the missile nerf) and we put them all into a new corp. The plan was to drive other indy corps out of the lowsec we were using at the time, without them realising it was us. That in itself was not particularly evil, but our first kill was.
One of the corps had this noob who kept inviting people in local to his gang so they could mission together whether he knew them or not (WoW mentality I guess). So there were about 7 of us in Kestrels at a planet in a 0.4, we invited him and told him we needed his help, since we were all noobs in kessies and he had a big bad Brutix. So we had him warp to us and..... boom. We blocked him and ignored his protests in local, which were cut off by his new clone being activated
Incidently, shortly after that I decided we should all head into the next system to look for more targets, so gang warped to gate.... but this was before agro timers. I dont think any of us survived lol, to this day people still bring it up
A friend has done something even worse than that. We had this kid who was given a CNR by his uncle and he thought he was just the koolest. So he thought we thought he was kool too I guess and often said we should work together. So one day my friend (Who'll rename nameless) got fed up with him, ganged up with him and also invited his pirate alt (the kid wasnt aware they were the same person). The kids CNR was jammed, cap dead, and into structure, at which point my friend demanded he ejected. After several minutes of protestations the kid finally relented and my friend had a brand new CNR
Have to say we all laughed, and eventually reported the kids uncle for the incredibly abusive language that was hurled our way.
So. Evil enuf?

I did put it earlier on but really without any description (drunk at the time i guess)....
When prowling Motsu (my home for months ) area in the PA empire wars, we had been running low on targets. Some guy had asked a few times in local about wanting missiles to complete his mission, i had ignored it for a while but then thought "sod it free loot". A player dropped out of gang and offered to take him about 4k of torps, he even offered to pay 4mil for them; a good 2mil over the price. Then came the blinding comment from him "whats you flying mate?", "faction fitted CNR" safe to say TS lit up with me and my cousin who were the only ones using our chars right then. Then the deal nearly got busted, interfearing bears in local spotted our transparent plan and started with bear smack lvl5, Arrrrhhh my loot! Anyway my cousin, in true devious style opened convo with him and chatted for best part of 20mins to try and convince him, usual bable about how you do missions, tank etc and how long it took him to get that ship and mods (about 6 months).
In this time i had managed to probe out some unsuspecting mission running target, you know the type raven called "i'm-at-war-and-stupidly-left-my-name-on-my-ship". I dived in, tackled and jammed it out and we all finished the gank to collect our daily bread. To make things better the raven dropped 4k torps, handy i thought as my cousin also let me know the CNR pilot had decided to ignore the usual residents of Motsu's warnings and asked for the torps. He did add "you're not going to gank me right?" Noooooooooo! cause not
When he jumped in to give him the missiles (in an Arazu, omg how much more warning do you need) he made his way to him (about 70k i think) with the CNR meeting halfway (nice of him about my curse range), the other ships were sat in nearest bm i had in there. When he got there the can was dropped "here ya go mate" and he readily transfered the 4mil "cheers". I must point out here the gang l3xz joined got dropped just before the can dropped and instant invite back to the gang. More chit chat starteded (to keep him off the scanner) as he locked him down with the arazu, about the same time the rook, damage geddon and curse jumped in.
The rest as they say is history, close chat and pop, it is said his screams can still be heard in the night in Motsu but after seeing the mail i did feel i should have ransomed.
To save the guys graces i wont post the mail link but:
Pith B-Type X-Large Shield Booster 1 0 isk Heat Dissipation Field II 1 4.96 M Gist C-Type Ballistic Deflection Field 1 0 isk Ballistic Deflection Field II 1 3.18 M Dread Guristas Shield Boost Amplifier 1
Motsu was a kind home to me, always said i wanted to pirate that place and pillaging it for a Rattlesnake, Nightmare, 2 CNR's and about 80 odd ravens surficed. Still dont get to this day why them bears ran missions in them ships when at war but hey paid for a load of stuff for me and my corp mates.

But this one time in Uemisaisen I got bored and saw a Retriver in the system got my Bestrower out from the hanger and thought I should get aggro and see how well it can tank a barge, when aggro was received and shooting began and also to hull the crying made it unbearable. I swear it he had said one more "plz dont kill me" or "stop!" I might have cave in and stop the shooting, not a pirate but what can I say I was bored

Im not sure if I should be tellin my story but I will do it without names in it because Im not sure if this guy is still active.
This was the former [Corp1] OPPercy about 2,5 - 3 years ago. OPPercy is not this evil anymore (not quite anyway). This was the moment when we played around Assah and G-5, when Eve Marshalls, Fin Fleet and all the other guys hunted us! It where pretty good fighting and a lot of fun.
So to the storytellin:
A couple of weeks before this "accident" a new guy had joined Corp1 and I did not like him a bit!
I where at this OP the FC. And I had everyone on TS except for this bloke that I did¦nt like.
We where in G-5 and I believe it was EVE marshalls that hunted us. We had kicked some of their ships and where now safespottin and tryin to find a angle for our next attack. We where totally outnumbered. We scanned and checked the gate towards Assah and saw that they where campin it with several ships (cant remember how many but there where a lot of ships).
So I said to myself omg I cant stand this dude.
So I ordered everyone on TS to stay at the safespot and that it didnt matter what I said in gangchat.
Then I wrote in the gangchat:
Everyone warp to the gate at 15 k NOW!!
The whole gang except for one dude stayed at the safe spot...guess who

Not really good at executing Evil moments... even though I have some of my own I'd like to give you guys an idea for a scam/evil moment.
1.) Establish a Pirate corp and recruit noob mission runners who have descent/good amount of isk. 2.) once you have a few members ask them to fit their best setups on their ships (frigs or cruisers) tell them you will be pirating in low sec. 3.) Fit your battleship with 8x smart bombs & fitting can b eanything else. 4.) go to a low security system and huddle around in a safe spot. 5.) Tell them to approach you so its easier to gang warp (if they're noobs they won't know how to align for warp) 6.) Activate Smart Bombs 7.) ----------------------------------------------

found a dude who was npc hunting in a raven alone, warped to his belt only to have him log out but noticed near a planet he was keeping a collection of ships in a ss and probed it with my arazu. 2 ravens, 1 maller, 2 ferox, 1 hauler. was gonna just blow them up but i wanted the insurance isk so i boarded each one by one then started shooting. blew up 1 raven, the maller and was working on the ferox's when he logs in and warps to the ss where im sitting and logging off again before i can even lock him. he logs a alt in and boards the 2nd raven at the ss which is already in hull and goes pop his pod warps off leaving a emtpy hauler to pop. i jump out of system notice a few locals so start looking at my scanner when the gate fires its the raven pilot and his alt, he uncloaks in a raven and his alt in a indy, i put a point on each and the raven logs out aggroed and warps off the indy does the same but didnt have stabs. popped the indy probed the raven popped that and his pod.
final score 3 ravens, 1 maller, 2 ferox, 2 indys and a buttload of loot. best part was i got basic insurance on all but the 2 ravens, he got insurance on only 1 raven as his alt was flying the other when it popped. i got away with about 300mill in loot/isk :) _______________________________________________

Originally by: PCaBoo I held a pod in a mission for about 3 hours.
HOOZAH MAN! HOOZAH! I did this on my pirate alt ^^ Befor I got brutally pod killed and lost all my sp after being drunk =\ Well what I did is... If they didnt pay the ransom for there ship... They got blown up... If they didnt pay for there pod... I just Scramed and webbed them for hours on end... some one comes into local? WALA BAM my corp mates pop up with a megathron to help out our.. "special" ransom Person scans us... jumps in.. "OMG RUN" 2 pods for webbing and scramming to death Good times

camping a station some goons were trying to live out of in 0.0 (knew one of them had just got his pod in there). So, he cant find a ship, didnt realize i was right under the station following after he docked there, and he undocks in his pod. Webbed, scramed, me laughing...
I waited for a bit after i had him webbed and scramed just to see what he'd say / if anyone else would undock. Im sitting there in a t1 frig about a month into playing the game, and this 3 year vet is at my mercy. He convos me and starts asking me to spare him, as he cant upgrade his clone here. /me opens fire
if he was telling the truth, i think he might have left the game - 3 years of SP , gone

Edited by: DubanFP on 19/08/2007 16:01:33 On the gate of a major EVE chokepoint just waiting to log off and call it a day "I was on gate so i would be in position when i made the actual trip just after downtime the next morning". Some random noob in local asks me if it's safe on the other side. He probebly thought my 5.0 sec status meant i was a so called "good guy". Now he was also in a ship that could easily take out my hauler.
I ask on our intelligence channel how the gate on the other side was only to find out it had a BoB gate camp. I told him it was completely safe and jumped through. The gate WAS safe, for me anyways. Unfortunately for him he didn't have the + standings with BoB that I had.
The campers all had a laugh when i recounted the story to them on the other side. Finally logged a little while later. ___________
