Hi,
We are aware of the current problems with expired and banned accounts on Singularity, but unfortunately we need to wait until January to get this resolved. Then we'll deploy a new DB mirror from TQ, which will sort out those problems. The exact date for the mirror is not decided yet, but we will probably aim for the 2nd or 3rd week of January.
Then we will also update our processes for account state changes and similar, but until then we can unfortunately not offer any help for expired or banned accounts (well, beside the /omega command if you are able to login, but your account is in Alpha state).

Will you please remove keepstars (and preferably the other citadels and EC) from the seeding list for the next mirror.
They cause massive performance issues in the numbers that get deployed in 6-C and it's not reasonable to give everyone instant access to 300B structures that 99% could never afford on TQ.
Just seed BPO and let them be built, like titans and supers. |

Does that mean if you are omega on tranquility and have alpha on singularity that you upgrade (activate) the alpha accounts on singularity to omega before the next mirror? |

@Demolishar: We are looking at the performance impact of citadels in 6-C (and if we need to fix anything for TQ for systems with many citadels), and we will discuss deployment restrictions further based on the outcome of these investigations. I personally would dislike to make it much more difficult to deploy them, but maybe we need to restrict them somehow from 6-CZ49. Another option would be to mirror Singularity more often, as then there would not be such a buildup of structures - but for this we would need to improve our tools first.
@Sha Boost: The exact details are still being discussed internally, but if you are Omega on TQ, then you will also be Omega on Singularity directly after the mirror. We will announce details as soon as we deploy the mirror.

Noticed all my accounts are suddenly Alpha-clones on SISI, even though I have not quit paying for my accounts on Tranquility and have had them active continously for 10 months now, and they where Omegas when you mirrored.
Anyway to "upgrade" on SISI or will you fix this in January as well?

This is expected and it will be fixed with the mirror in January.

Sure being able to move to the couple wormholes and therea and the combat system is nice
But it would be a blessing to those supercap pilots who want to go to somewhere specific to test out builds etc.
For example; "/moveme delve" moves me to an npc sov held system in delve etc
I dont like having to fly 40-50 gates in a titan just to test stuff out

I dunno if you can jump gates in a titan on sisi but I would advise investing in cyno char's especially if you are a titan pilot on tranq or you never know when one of those cyno's you use from other people will be a trap and besides its much faster using them compared to actually traveling by gate jumping.
Also for the op n rest of ccp, will the mirror in January take into account the issues with your login database for tranq and how it dislikes certain email accounts or will that issue be fixed by then too? |

I have to say it's been pretty awesome to come back to this game after a solid six months or so unsubscribed and find that I can't use Sisi at all for the entire first month back. Claiming that this is to preserve the integrity of performance on the test server seems questionable considering the average number of people logged in at any given time is far fewer than the amount you get when you hold a mass test, and even during a mass test I've never noticed serious performance problems. The only thing I've noticed that really kills performance is citadel spam so if anything needs to be addressed it is that.
Banning people with no way of activating their accounts when they request and making them wait until the next mirror is beyond stupid. It's an extremely clunky way of handling your perceived problem. |

I think the 6c shows exactly what TQ will be in the future. As it sits there are dozens if not hundreds of abondoned citadels just laying in space.
I know my mains corp has one that we left in occupied area we evacted from 7 months ago. Because of the pain of grinding it has been left to float in space. Is there a mechianic in discussion for clearing up long term space junk? The old pos system had a mechanic as they were limited to the number of moons in a system. |

I have a question about "duping" using /copyships

Is that an exploit or are you guys ok with this? AFAIK, the intention of /copyships is to put your fitted ships from TQ into the testing environment, not to duplicate mods and items that are not seeded on sisi
If you allow it, you might as well seed it. It seems like an unfair advantage exploiting one mechanic for a secondary purpose

Singularity is a testing server. It operates based on the needs of the developer. Its not a test server for players. It IS a test server for CCP to try out different features and patches. Players are invited to Singularity to add real world conditions to the testing grounds. Mirrors of TQ are done based on the needs of CCP and will fluctuate as the Devs need it.
When CCP is ready to accept new accounts onto SISI, They will reopen the activation thread stickied in this sub-forum. Any further request to have your account activated in this or any other thread will be considered SPAM and will be treated as such.

please cap the citadels on sisi max 50 per system or so cant make bug report because when i try jump to 6-cz it ends with game crash "process crashed with error code 3" i have almost 8 year old machine and before citadels were introduced to game had zero performance loss now to access 6-cz i have to play russian roulette with my phoenix if it crash or not on jump
after game cras when jumping i log in and i am in 6-cz but fps is 1 - 2 max per second trying to moveme takes me 15 minutes before can write moveme because evrything slow . |

Anyway - for someone who pays for a game and who is not able to participate on all features like others this sounds a bit strange. I do understand the intention of the test Server and the rules. But CCP - please understand also that i will only spend additional Euros for additional accounts whe i have the same possibillities like all others. That is also a technical Problem - for me!

All of this is a moot point if theres going to be 400 keepstars in the main testing system when it mirrors. Hopefully set aside fd- for citadel testing. Its the best course of action the keep the main system from becoming impossible to use . |

I just wanted to say that I hope CCP realized how useful SiSi is for players after this event.
Thing is, most players like me use SiSi to test ship loadouts and tactics, especially expensive ships before risking it in TQ.
I really don't want to read again that this is a testing server and it's not meant to be a service for players, because as you can see, there is a considerable demand of this feature.
Maybe CCP would consider adding 1 or 2 systems on TQ where ship destruction has no consequences, just so players can test loadouts and strategies. At this moment I don't know how this would be, but it's either that or start considering SiSi as a real complement of the main service.

Because, if you people would actually Read (Listen) and not Hit Enter (F1) everytime, you would be aware that the current sisi DB mirror is older then december, and that accounts were disabled/alphad for Testing reasons by CCP, and that the mirror that's about to be deployed sometime this/next Week will fix the Login issues.

Hi all!
The new mirror will very likely be deployed today within the next few hours.
What you can expect from this mirror (but last minute changes are possible):
- All current accounts on TQ will have access, including Alpha accounts
- Current Omega accounts on Singularity will be extended by a few months (probably in the next few days)
- PLEX market seeding is disabled
- Account changes on TQ after the mirror will not (yet) be copied over to Singularity. This might change later (more likely: for the next mirror)
- There will be no thread for reactivations (your accounts should be Alpha if you came back from a break) and I will unfortunately also not have time to help with account issues like password changes.
I personally assume that this mirror might live shorter than the previous mirrors (which lived for 3 months or even longer), but this is not decided yet.

My main is in Alpha state too and it was not when the mirror happened and has not been for the last 30 days, the account was renewed 2 days before it was due for renewal so at no stage recently was the account alpha.
Yet on sisi it is in alpha state.

Singularity worked fine for me last week, it does not work now. Maybe a reactivation will help?
When I try to log into singularity, where normally the "play" button is, it just says please wait.
Things I have tried:
- Restarted launcher (several times)
- Restarted computer
- Let it sit to see if it was updating, for hours
- Reset cache
Nothing worked so far.
Please help!

Again, it would be very useful to be informed before the snapshot is taken. Because my tests always involve faction and deadspace gear that is not available on Sisi. Also I usually want to test in specific wormholes, and it's very hard to get into them on Sisi (the ones where you can /moveme to are almost immediately cleared, and may not have the desired effect anyway).
I understand that you don't want to change your schedule just to give us time to prepare for the mirror. But I'm also sure you don't just decide from one second to another 'oh, I'll take a Sisi snapshot now'. Even an hour's notice can be useful. How about sending an alert out on TQ when you know you are going to take a snapshot? You already do this sometimes for patch notes and stuff.
edit: Shouldn't it be fairly easy to implement a version of /moveme where you can give the system name as a parameter and jump to any system you like?
