The dictionary gives us:
- to overcome in a contest, election, battle, etc.; prevail over; vanquish
- the act of overcoming in a contest: an overwhelming defeat of all opposition.
- an overthrow or overturning; vanquishment:
- a bringing to naught; frustration:
- Archaic. undoing; destruction; ruin.

Without smacking or anything - LR had a war with them last week, and people got so bored, they willingly went to 0.0 to rat.
The best ship we killed i believe was Deltauk1's manti, and the rest were frigs and haulers. And when they finally decided to give us some action...we had an astarte, raven, and vulture, and VIGIL had 2 ravens, 1 geddon, 1 rook, and 1 drake, and were too afraid to engage, despite us even aggroing.

and im afraid LR we were a bit puzzled by your war dec: the reason you had no targets is because we had already wiped them from the face of the universe.
This post is largely in response to smacktalk from several of their illustrious leaders.
They are beaten but refuse to acknowledge it, so the post is here so we can let our war with them end but anytime they smack at us or w/e we can just link this thread and say:

I don't know what dictionary you're using, but one that uses a word to define itself probebly isn't that reliable a source to use in the future...

... i have more personal kills under my belt in the last month or so than you have against a whole alliance your claiming to have pushed to the point of death.
If you think 303 kills is alot.. you need to take a step out of your pond into the big sea we call 0.0.
"Vigil" doesn't sound particularly important either, so is it worth posting a victory message? it only points out the insignificance of your own alliance.
If your want attention and publicity, get out and fight a real alliance, and bring it, win lose or draw engage, that will get you talked about for all the right reasons.

One thing to say relik bafoon...
multiple spies inside our alliance. When ever we had a gang going that could beat you you looged or stayed docked. When we had even forces we beat you.
Deny it i dare you. Without that alt you had in the VGL it would of been fair.
So jog on ladyboy, and next time ask druz for permission before you open your trap. btw You were one of the least respected pvp's in this war.

oh my dear relik, you guys may have smashed us to pieces but you didn't break our spirit and we certianly aren't poor and have plenty of isk and ships thank you very much. also relik of our huge 38 kills
you were the most obliging victim and how your even allowed in molotov I don't know, but never mind you didn't break us because we're still here and we're still active so pls stop going on. despite our losses i enjoyed the war to an extent and learnt a lot about what my rook can and can't do, also met some pretty cool people you not being one of them. as for you waxau the incident you mentioned. we didn't engage you because you were in docking range also you dec'd us so come and get us we certianly aren't scared of you, so hope to see you soon.

There was no alt until a long time in the war. And you lost every engagement bar 2, one of which was in hisec when the entire gang got left behind (gg, 12 v 5) and the second was 4 bs and your nanotard v a bc and 2 bs.
You have no pvp ability whatsover, so your calling out rellik doesn't mean much. How about you learn something other than smack for once?

Had you guys any idea how to use ECM, you'd have slaughtered us. And we deliberately undocked (without ECCM or refitting which you had accused us of) because we wanted to fight you without you running for once. Get the hell out now kthx.

The CAOD trolls come here telling us that we're chest-beating, yet they ignore the OP, this is not made to chest-beat, it is made because Vigil cannot accept the fact that they, an anti-pirate organization who 'own' some lowsec, got stomped on and driven out by Molotov. Not wanting to pay a ransom or offer something to get a group to stop killing you and you want to fight them off? Fine, I can respect that. Getting beaten down to the point that you're running all over the place and people are abandoning you, yet you cannot admit you've lost? Sorry, no respect in that. Being able to admit defeat is not a sign of weakness.
Heroim, your group was outclassed, a spy wouldn't change that. You've just used a line that many groups have used to defend their loss in a war, while forgetting...
Spies don't boost the player skill and character skill points of an organization.
Spies don't undo/create FC experience.
Spies don't make up for lack of in-game skill.
Spies don't make a bad leader good.
Spies don't make a leader unable to admit defeat.
Spies don't make a side lose their will to fight* for their 'home'.
Heroim, why is it hard for you to admit defeat? It's not hard, and you can use it as a learning experience. Everyone loses at some point.
And Tempest Kane, you have an enemy who is happy to die in droves to kill one of you, our enemy played the runningman game. When you get a nice number of kills vs an enemy like that, you come let me know. Not all enemies fight the same way.

k for one we are still at war with you, we are not afraid of you in anyway whatsoever and you certianly are not deserving of our respect, in fact I believe you only dec'd us in an attempt to get standings with molotov and i believe they told you to go take a running jump how scary and fearsome you are anyway we're still waiting, your dec is still current so instead of talking nonsense on the forums come wipe us out as it seems so easy, and if we do lose i for one will not moan or complain, i'll just make my way to jita and get another ship, Are you really so sad that you need to dec a fledgling alliance; it would appear so. We may not have a fleet of capital ships or lots of experienced players but we will fight so quit talking and come fight us?
