If I were the OP, after the treatment he was given, I'd join BOB, right freaking now, and hand them this juicy alliance with any information he has.
Keep your friends close and your enemies closer. If he was "suspected" any sane government would keep very close tabs on him... short leash... but oh so close.
No this is a case of an incompetent 0.0 government.
Look at what he is being accused of:
1. He's "suspected" of being a spy: Great- but they have no proof.
2. He used the "F-Bomb": Ok he got angry and went off. Big deal.
FREGE is apparently a bunch of slaptards. When BOB comes for them- they'll just roll over and start kicking each other out for spying.
What a country!
From what I have seen and heard, it is kick first ask questions later in 0.0. Information is valuable. Thus, if you suspect someone is spying on all of your comms, best to remove them ASAP.
As for the exploding, it was not necessary and included a threat. Does any real world national government allow people who openly threaten them to waltz through the front door?
I see DNS acting with paranoia, but from things I have seen, it was to an appropriate reaction to the suspicion. Here it is. Isn't it unique? |

They banned me and kicked me while on a ops...How do I get my belongings back....
You seem to get kicked from a lot of corps lately. I remember at least two incidents where you were kicked because your silly and drunk postings on the boards. Maybe you just deserved a beating?
If i was you i'd start to think about my attitude...

They had every right to kick a suspected spy, and they definatly didn't have to offer the suspected spy the opportunity to get their stuff. After said spy suspect's outburst, they really, really didn't have to offer the buy the stuff for a fair profit. They are being very generous in my opinion.
and by the way, In 0.0 its guilty until proven innocent.

Gotta luv alts who smack. You don't hae a clue what you are talking about. I probably oughta include an IBTL, as this is getting silly.
You miss the point:
1. You kicked a "spy". Whether or not he *is* a spy doesn't matter- his information will be used against you.... NOW
2. You named terms for his personal assets. Were he a spy he wouldn't have had assets of consequence, and probably would have not made a peep.
3. YOU (*******!) took the bait by responding to his post, defending your alliance to the last. (Which by the way opens you up to criticism.)
4. You attack the messenger with the whole "He posts as an alt" garbage.
You aren't effectively governing at all.
Advice: Shutup and run your alliance.
-- I don't post on my main. The reason is simple- to remain obscure. EVE as a society is a rough place, and I like being anonymous. I'm not afraid. I'm just prudent. |

Edited by: HelloDevette on 08/07/2007 03:42:13 I just love the "I do not know it is just a game" types that are paranoid about spies etc... If you do not like the guy, fine give him his stuff back(he probably wasted a lot of time to acquire it), and simply blast him to hell if you ever see him again.
Also try to remember that you are in a video game.

Out of curiosity, why defend this one instance of such so vehemently? What about all the other people that were booted from a corp and lost stuff in 0.0? What about all the people who lost stuff to their station being conquered? What makes this one special? That they were a suspected spy? How is kicking someone you don't trust different from kicking someone that you don't like or that is intentionally offensive against corp rules? Here it is. Isn't it unique? |

Since this game is competitive, you wish to beat others. They use spies. Therefore, you must account for this. How is this paranoia not playing the game? Is it going against your idea of what the game should be where everyone can trust everyone else and not tell their competitors all their secrets? Here it is. Isn't it unique? |

1. lol yeah all the secret frege information (hint they are a big alliance living in the drone regions) most big alliances don't give uber secret intel to members who are less then a month in corp. asside of that what big alliance in eve would possibly care about the drone regions?
2. having a pilgrim on a spy alt in hostile space is not unhandy but I personally don't think he is a spy. still if he joins a corp where the rule is if we for whatever reasson don't want you in the corp the first month you are with us (afaik they had that rule) we boot you no harm done. well he got booted within that time got the ability to move his stuff out but he go all angry on vent. and then wonder why he won't get his stuff moved out by his former alliancem8s.
3. I think my personal respect for frege has grown after this tbh but for those who don't know how 0.0 work yeah frege might lost some respect.
4. I think he tried to say that if you don't dare to say what you post now on your main is the information then relevant or important enough to read.
pelf really it is not unheard of that people are booted from there corp and well to lose docking rights/other way to move stuff out rights then you need to screw it up badly most corps don't mind helping members out when they hear they got booted.

as others said, this is part of the game I feel sorry for you but I see no exploit, just allowed game mechanics
create an alt and eventually sneak in there with him to pick up the contract

No, the moral of thew story is that unless you are able to be civil to they guys owning the station where you stuff is you might lose it. (Not loose it;) )
I do not "know" Ferge, and I do not know th op so all I have to go on are the two(?) posts about this and I am having troubles seing what else they should have done. If they had been vindictive they had said: "sure come and get it, you have docking rights for another hour" and then just ganked him, podded him and hoped that he had not moved the clone so they could pod him again getting some SP's down.
Ohh, and to all you who tells him to join BoB....what can I say... I acctually think that is degrading towards BoB. Do you realy think they'd accept what might well be a tripple or quadruple agent/spy master? I thought that BoB allways where accused of being the masters of social engineering and I have not realy seen such mastery here...more like social suicide bombing

Seems like a stupid situation to me. Sounds like a **** thing to happen, but she sounds like a spy to me after reading the posts on both topics. Dont have any evidence, but I'm happy to accuse anyway :) Morale of the story is to not put all your valuables in a 0.0 station. Heheh.

Hmm, as much as I am set to positive standings with FERGE. It saddens me to see such a stunt pulled.
At least let the poor bastard pick up his junk. Then let him just fend for himself in 0.0
If you want to camp the station while he does so, do it, he might bring in back up.
On another note, by implying him to bring his exspensive ship through N-RAEL are you the ones that are always camping that gate? I always get nuked to hell and back when running through it.

First of all, it's FREGE (Free Galactic Enterprises). Secondly, I don't understand where you're getting a "stunt" from. We're not running some sort of scam to keep his items hostage. If you had cared to read any of the many posts and tried to understand any of them, maybe you would have figured that out. Lastly, it is not in our interest to allow a pilot who has openly threatened our pilots to dock in our station in a combat ship. While his demise would be swift, the potential of him taking someone down with him, or escaping into space to cloak in our outpost system is unacceptable. It's also a tremendous waste of time and effort waiting for him to undock.
As for your last comment, if you're blue to us, you would have access to intel channels that would help you avoid being nuked. Half the universe camps that system at various times of the day. It is a major pipe for several of the alliances (blue and red) in the nearby regions.
