You just need the guy needing help to bookmark the location (gate entrance)and then return and give you a copy of the bookmark. Since High-Sec doesnt allow POS to aggress unless at war or if agressed first, then the only "trap" here is if the bookmark leads to the middle of a swarm of NPC's. The mission runner can mitigate the danger by first warping to a Safe Spot and then warping to 70-100km away from bookmark (warping out if need be) [warping to the SS first means the other party can't gauge from what direction you will be coming in from and it makes it harder to set the bookmark in a bad spot].
To copy a bookmark, open your people and places window and go to the window with all of your bookmarks. Then click on a bookmark, hold down SHIFT, and drag it to your hangar or cargo hold.
To import a copied bookmark drag it from your hangar or cargo hold and put drop it in your people and places window. You can drop the bookmark right on a folder to sort them instantly into that folder.
I just read this thread and wondered when someone would think of this, I was almost giving up.
Btw, I love the fact that you can do stuff like this in Eve, wouldn't do it personally but the freedom is great. Yes, maybe it will scare away a certain type of players, but honestly we have enough people, check server lag for that. There's no reason to make Eve just a copy of any other MMO, I've played ALOT of mmorpg's and got sick of them all very soon except for one that allows even more 'griefing' than Eve.

I had the same experience, moreover, when I warped in on the BS's waiting as I saw them starting to lock on me I immideately left the gang, still outcome was the same, ganked. Kind of strange, the only thing I got out of this experience is I dont help any1 anymore, which sucks for those who indeed honestly looking for help.

Originally by: Cpt Branko Is this so complicated to understand: If you do NOT read warnings fully, anything that results from you not reading the warnings is your own fault.
You are informed you're doing something risky. You ignore it (sic!). What do you expect?
It's like people going to low-sec (and you get a warning saying how terribly dangerous it is), and then whining about losing their ships. You were warned. You ignored it. What do you expect?
Wake up!
Step 1. A person invites a non-warring member to start a gang, there is no warning.
Step 2. The gang leader now invites another person to join, who he is at war with. The gang leader and the person being invited get the warning. The first person invited does not get the warning.
Step 3. The first person who was invited gets scammed by the new member on behalf of the gang leader.
Simple solution: When inviting warring members to a gang, all gang members should get a warning, not just the gang leader and the person being invited.
Lee
You have no idea how this trick works. The gang leader is not at war with anyone. If he were, the target would receive information specifying the identity of the inviting party's war targets and there would be no need to invite a third party to the gang.
The gang leader is not involved in a war and the target receives the standard warning which he ignores. While warping to the "mission" the gang leader then invites a dummy character in a war target corp for another player who is laying in wait. The trick only works because people are stupid and ignore the warning they receive when joining gangs. _____ Heat Warfare |

To me this looks like an exploit, a way to kill people without getting concorded.
On top of that, it kills a part of the social aspect of EVE.
I dont see the good side about this.
It needs fixing imho.
