But as for your post, ok we get it you hate bob and everybody hates bob and they all want bob to die and see it coming all that propiganda crap. But alot of the stuff you've meantioned in your post is, if bob is defeated, and goons become the new "bob" that everybody hates. What is going to happen to all these great pvp'ers that will come from bob. Its all swings and round-abouts, I know bob cant last forever, i doubt any alliance could continue to evolve and stay ahead of ccp's changes forever, god knows bob have done a good job staying top thus far but even if they do get defeated. Can you imagine any of them joining goons? Same thing that always happens in that situation; Charismatic personalities go "screw this" and leave, taking as many people with them as they can into their splinter, which is maybe 20, who then go and make their little splinter corp and amount to near nothing. Ermm...from my observations, yes, they would. Anyways, nice set of posts. There is indeed a lack of in-depth counter arguments, but I don't really expect such from people playing an internet space ship game. Why formulate very nice and articulate arguments when you can watch pretty spaceships explode in pretty fireballs? So, I find your arguments plausible and if the other side would care to present an articulate, carefully thought out scenario as you have, I would probably find it plausable also. I just don't believe it. There is not much in the way of evidence that what either side is saying is true. I will fight for my side and whatever happens will happen. Either you've gained some decent sources or you're a lot better at sifting through the bull**** in COAD than most people give you credit for. Its also somewhat more relavent; ranting about ASCN's defeat or BoB's recruitment tactics and communication with your girlfriend really isn't insightful about the current strategic situation. I don't think the fundamentals of what you're saying in part 3 are wrong. Certainly, in Eve wars are won by getting the enemy players to give up. Running back to empire, jumping ship, or "failure cascade" as we call it. But this goes for all alliances, not just BoB, neither do I think there's a reason why BoB are more susceptible, even if you argue that they expect victory in all that they do. An alliance simply reaches a breaking point where they no longer have the isk (or ships), stations, or morale to continue fighting. Numbers themselves don't matter, as they are only depleted when the players give up. I wish I could predict when this point will be reached, but it will be a long war.
