Yes. I would also like to know why this person hasn't been treated better than everyone else, and allowed access to the REAL Eve that never has any lag, and no spam, and no farmers, and no whining?
Seriously. What a world we live in where older players don't get special treatment! Damn all you to hell!
When you are asked, BY A GM, to put in a petition on behalf of several alliances, and your petition is then ignored, that's the problem.
Did CCP really want to address the issue, or simply brush off one petition instead of ignoring hundreds?

Your game is broken, and people are leaving. Your customer service is lacking, and it will be the downfall of this game.
That's strange, cause I just checked the subscription numbers, and apart from them increasing every month, this month had an even bigger increase than last month...
with all due respect Wrangler I know of at least a dozen ppl from our alliance who have quit and i know of quite a few more thinking about it...
Well, the average time a person stays with a MMOG is somewhere between 6 and 12 months, very roughly, so any corporation or alliance would have people joining and leaving at any time.
I'm not saying there aren't issues with EVE, though we do work hard to get things resolved, we're constantly working on improving hardware, software and content.
But I see the subscription numbers, and the idea that EVE is going to die because people are leaving is simply not true, those subscription numbers go up every month.
Wow .. so the best you could come up with is .. why bother fixing things .. just deny it cause people are stupid enough to subscribe anyways?
The number that is important is not the number of new subscriptions but your retention numbers. Any moron in the MMO community knows that a lot of business is generated by word of mouth. How long you think the new memberships are gonna continue when the COMMUNITY starts to complain to each other about the lack of effort being put into fixing your game or someone emails pcgamer your dumbass quote in this thread ?
Grow a brain and do not speak to us like we're morons ..
A lot of issues that fleets are facing are being documented in this thread as well :

With all due respect.
Wrangler, CCP has a monopoly on space combat simulators online, at this time.
What would happen if another corporation, say BLIZZARD, put in a "Privateer Online"? What if there was no (or near as makes no odds) lag? Even if it was sharded this new game would get a lot of subscribers.
Right now you have no competition in this niche market.
Don't let that make you lazy, or arrogant.

I can see how CCP's GMs are in a tough spot with this. If desynch isn't showing up in the logs, then their standard "if we can't see it, we can't reimburse it" policy screws over a lot of players. But if they just say "you have an honest face, here's your ship," then they run the very real risk of being buried under a mountain of whine.
Of course, the thing that gives me the higgly wigglies is the idea that, if the GMs don't have the tools to detect the problems, how in the hell are the coders going to fix it? _

See Harleigh's post above mine
Here is a brief review:
Case 1: I'm getting shot I warp to a POS I sit in the POS bubble.... yet I'm still taking damage I get my POD mail... while sitting in the POS with 50% structure left
or Case 2: I'm sitting on a gate, defending Enemies jump in I never see an enemy, and neither do most of my gangmates My client goes non-responsive, and I have to log after waiting 15 minutes. I can't log back in for 30 minutes When I do get back in... I'm dead BUT..... server logs don't show anything
...and that's because there is a desynchronization (desync) between my client and the server. Not lag (delay in ship response, modules not activating, etc), but desync.
But... our petitions are ignored or closed, and threads (other than this one, evidently) cannot get a meaningful response from CCP.
All we want (before a fix) is a CCP rep to say "We realize there is a serious problem, and we are doing our best to fix this as quickly as we can."

i appreciate you need help finding desync cause, but you can't exactly run the logserver whilst waiting for a 200 man gang to jump in on you, as you need as much bandwidth as poss to reduce Lag..
were in a catch 22 situation with this..
run the logserver program and you increase Lag don't run it you can't fix the issues...

Yup, it's been acknowledged, as Wrangler said they've even asked the player base to help in trying to resolve it, but some just come on here shouting 'fix it now' I'm sure they must see how this isn't helpful?

Funny that wrangler said it is still being worked on and acknowledged it's presence as an ongoing problem cause according to the petitions we have filed .. it was fixed in the last patch and does not occur according to their 'logs"

First, I didn't ask you to be gentle in the post you quoted. Second, a gentile is a non jewish person and third, and most important, the senior GM queue is for cases that take a lot of investigation and therefore it takes a bit more time. We also take all petitions in the order they come in, the GMs will get to yours when they handled the ones who were submitted before it.

It doesn't occur in their logs because their logs are server logs. The issue is the client getting out of sync with the server. In other words, the server things everything is fine. And the client is in another place, thinking everything is fine. So, there will be no error on the server side.
Companied by the fact that they do not have a 6 figure staff at CCP to try and recreate the amount of load on Tranquaility, added with the fact that no one there (to my knowledge), has ESP...must mean that it is possible to have thought they had fixed it, but in fact it did not.

Well, it was a funny spelling mistake, I saw one Oveur made a while that was better, he spelled whether wether, which means castrated male sheep.
It's not a cut and paste GM response, we have different queues with different levels of priority, the senior GM queue is one of those, and once a petition is escalated to that queue it gets dealt with in the order it arrived, and obviously it can take more time to investigate some issues than others. That's explaining how the queue works.
Common courtosy would have someone atleast send a "yeah we are still working on it message" or are the Senior gm's that busy investigating bugs? ...
Wait .. i know .. maybe they are too busy in their alliances with all the wars going on ... whoops .. not allowed to bring that one up ... :P
