What are you talking about?
Mostly they used it to gank people in lo sec where it had zero risk of ever getting destroyed or into a sticky situation it could not very very easily get out of.
not really lol. in my eve life i saw twice hera sitting alone in front of a hostile station just cause he could. once he escaped after clearing the system, second time he escaped with a few scratches, but after clearing most of the sys.
igno is a skilled pilot, the toy alone doesnt make all
Yes really.
I suggest you go look at their killboard and look at the actual kills on it. You will not see too many epic battles there but you willl see a ton of lone BS and hauelrs getting ganked.

Originally by: Maggot During the pirate siege of 9UY over a year ago I used to have frequent dreams about Hera. None of them was in an Eve setting. I think the most bizzare was the one when it flew down over my street whilst I was washing the car and everyone ran for cover indoors whilst it smartbombed those that were too slow to get their fat arses safe.
EST have my everlasting respect for the way they flew the best looking ship in Eve.
RIP

Well this was quite a piece of news to get back from vacation to read.
I guess the only thing I can say is, ''******* ****s.''
### I nearly finish carriers, and they nerf it. I nearly finish Amarr recons, and they make them useless. Vagabond pilots beware... I have bought Minmatar Cruiser. |

I still remember trying to catch hera in her supersafe in the taisy area for 6 hours straight...
Ahhh, I'm sad that this ship died in an engagement that I did not participate.

Edited by: Amantus on 28/08/2007 01:59:20 A tragic loss. My first major loss in the game (my brutix) was at the hands of Hera. It's no surprise Hera lasted this long: Rawthorm piloted her absolutely flawlessly.
It was a pleasure both flying with and against Hera.

Its ironic, but that post was necro'd if you bother to look at the dates. Strange that it was necro'd and within a week Hera was dead

Respect to Hera and Ign0ramus, I had many fun encounters with her fighters back in U'K' space flying under Spiderweb's skin.
I will never forget the tanking test marathons vs her fighters outside Unity (now a sad reminder of the death of RP in the hands of CVA).
Respect to EST. You guys were true gentlemen when it came to PVP execution. Cloaks, ambushes, quick cyno traps you name it, EST were always an intelligent and unconventional force.

Lets think about this rationally:
Would YOU hire a notorious well known pirate entity to move billions of your stuff? A sane person would think they'd nick the content and pod you for much less.
EST&ED deserved to lose whatever they lost for scheming this type of deal behind the backs of their friends and neighbours and this now leaves open the question of whether there's some closer involvement between the two, something that everyone should be aware of when dealing with ED in the future.

Desync or not, it was dead when they dropped carriers + bs on it...
I not saying it wasnt
Just saying that the fact he got de-synced at all, is a failure on CCP's part and a problem that needs to be top priority over anything, Trinity II or Rev 3.0.

They better frapsed it!
Too bad on losing Hera it was one of the only ships I've ever been so scared for. When I saw that arazu jump in I was the first to start bashing on the warp out button
Congrats to the RA capitals and dictors you did it once again __________________

What in the hell are YOU talking about? Taking the fights as they come obviously includes taking the easy wins. Est are one of the groups widely known for not walking away from tough fights.
