I see that you didn't have a cynogen fitted on your Revelation. How did you expect to cyno in the fleet that was standing by to save you?
all else said added into consideration and then reading this! if it wasn't totally baseless accusations towards the corp he was in in the first place.. then that part just takes the cake and adds strawberries and whipped cream on it, with a nice little dessert of wtfpwned on the side.. THAT's just too damn funny!!!! rofl

Viper, no one stood by to save anyone. For real, stop trying to make Exuro seem like they were coming with all this aid. Righteous Fairy wouldn't help anyone but himself. Regardless, you should have still organized something, even if I was all ready dead. Furthermore, Marcus said he had a Cyno pilot nearby. When you get left behind by Righteous Fairy, maybe you'll realize, your alliance doesn't care about you; they just want what they can get from you.
If it's not cost-effective you will be left behind. Or if it's too "risky" for Righteous Fairy's ship. If the fleet was on stand-by, they should've came. No one was on stand by. It's one thing to be a coward. It's another to be a propagandist.
Unlike you, I have morals and respect for people. I would have bent over backwards to assist any of my alliance members in need. One team, one fight.

Your corporation leader, Marcus, could also relate. Remember when he engaged TWO battleships outside of H-S. We all readied to come help him. His actions were just as "stupid" supposedly. However, he engaged under one pretense. " MY corporation/alliance will come to my aid. " Which is what I expected, either way, even if I did go down. I figured there would be casualties and I could have done my share of damage until you guys arrived.
However, I found myself among cowards.

You're really an idiot, aren't you?
When Marcus engaged in H-S his support was actually in a position to help him, in your case, it wasn't.

setting up a cyno chain to cross half of EVE, gathering sizeable support that can handle a momaship in low-sec to make like 30 jumps, organizing a sizeable cap fleet, spending fuel for said capital fleet to jump, dealing with crashes that might come, add a bit more time for the unexpected.
let me get this straight: you want the entire alliance to come and save your "honor", dropping whatever they are doing to chase a ship that has like 99.9% chances to escape, unless you bring like 100 guys and lag him to death?
...in less than 5 minutes?
DUDE! WHAT YOU SMOKIN'! I WANT TWO!
REMEMBER THIS: in an alliance the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. You should had retreated after you lost your nightmare.
can't cope with it? too bad. I would give you a T2 fiddle, but I don't have the bpo for it. ---

Edited by: Scius on 26/08/2007 23:56:44 Sigh. For the second time. . . Regardless of whether or not I had fallen, they should have come, whether it be an hour, two hours, or whatever. Where do you keep getting this "Five Minute" crap? I don't know why people just continue bickering, nothing I, nor anyone else says is going to change my philosophy or anything else.
Just know this, my philosophy comes from people of history, of great stature. People who would rather die than run like cowards. Even if I did 100 DPS on the mothership, I still retaliated, I still defended myself. It's a game. All my assests are replaced and than some. My point is: Exuro Mortis should have come, one way, or the other. Whether it be minutes or hours. If you are in battle, do you not expect your alliance to come? Isn't that the point of an alliance? One Team, One Fight? You are the idiot.
In the armed forces many times people are sent against overwhelming odds. However, they cannot run like cowards. No one gets left behind. It's just like you going out somewhere and a fight is picked. Do you not expect your friends to assist you? Or do you expect them to run away and laugh like little fairies?

I think the 5 minutes came from the above. You are right though, it's more like 2 minutes. The point still stands: you can't create a cyno network and have a whole fleet ready to go up in such a short time. It takes hours and a lot of effort to move that many ship and gather that much fuel for a target that will most likely just escape as soon as you show up. ------ Dei Gloria "God is my shield and protector!" |

We fight as a team, except we fight against stupidity, rather than defending it. You stopped being part of the team when you made it obvious that you are mortally stupid - which is why my first words to you when you reported your loss weren't "I'm sorry for your loss," instead they were "get the **** out of my alliance."

People who buy characters then throw there assets at mothership's in low sec with zero backup don't deserve any sympathy or respect. My only question to you would be where does such a noob manage to get together the isk to buy a 40m skill-point capital pilot? leading me to the conclusion you bought the isk to then buy the character, in which case
Give it up, you are making a complete fool of yourself.

im really starting to think someone dropped u on ur head first of all it would take longer then the 30secs it took u to die to get our caps ready plus we had no cyno chain. talking about defending ur honor u should of 1) never jumped that nightmare in without a scout and 2) u should of took the loss like a man and not suicide your dread like an idiot. but anyway have fun in iac im sure you and TT will get along great

Why? And stop the real life analogies dude, they're all terrible because this is internet spaceships and I'm sorry to break it but 'honour' is a completely useless concept here.

When someone in the armed forces is deep within enemy lines, does he do a sensible option which is to discuss with his alliance mates the best way to move his assets out safely?
Heck no! Its Hollywood. Pull out the switchblade, knife the guard, grab the machine gun and gun down the enitre enemy force. And as is usual in most hollywood films, your backup will arrive just as you kill everyone, then you wil be taken to see the president, who you somehow safe from death.
Then, in a grand finale, you fight the leader of Tri in a deadly showdown designed to fill up the last 10 minutes of your gametime, then in a spectacular finale, you kill him with a single hornet I which bumps him into a POS, causing the stront to mix with the oxygen resulting in a massive explosion that sends the node crashing, with yourself being the only person able to log back in, view the carnage with a view of the sunset zooming out to the sound of heavy metal.
Or perhaps, you deserve to be as dead as Bruce Willis was within the first 90 Minutes of Sixth Sense. --
