And to TRI, we al know even the empire carebears know that your sided with razor. Reseting standings and killing them inbetween fights to make it look good changes nothing. But hating bob has brought them together. Those allied with bob continually shield them. FIX is quite literally a shield for delve. MC is a shield for period base. The northern bob allies going south to help FIX and MC thus shield bob too. keeping you occupied up north removes you as bob shields. This is the case for most eve players that hate bob. For me though, I'm more looking forward to MC getting pushed to empire. To me they've become more arrogant than bob, claiming to be neutral mercs, yet occupying space, and employing propaganda in attempts to intimidate enemies that bob will attack anyways should they survive in the south, with mere words. How fcking arrogant is that. That and the whole theatrical shock when they were actually attacked. GASP* Like being a mercenary deserves diplomatic immunity. Can't wait to see them get their crap pushed in. Because posting on the forums is serious business.

That is the by far the biggest bull** of a post that I've seen today and I've been whoring eve-o the whole night. By your logic, CoW is allied with Bob/MC/fix/bla bla which means you're just another pet and another blob, a worse one at that since you have more blues than tri has members. This isn't the first time Tri. has set temp standings to get in on some fun, so you should expect them to reset within a few days. Now we all know CoW aren't a pet alliance and they can hold their own without anyone's help. People take sides, make choices and do what they need to do to survive (Read that as Do what they need to do to have fun), people who expect anything else are silly! You guys do what you need to do to have fun (And anyone expecting you to do anything but needs to offer to pay your subscription fee). But in saying that, we do what we need do to protect our home (also while trying to have fun). However about the 'You blob' bit. Im not saying youre wrong, just wanting to point out this story has a second side. During RZR/MM peak times they hold a number advantage. During our peak times we hold a number advantage, its a see saw, it swings both ways. I think we can all agree however, todays server performance wasnt much fun Fortunately though, EVE Voice and 'Heat' were complete successes! We fully expected the grid to load eventually so we waited and waited. It never happened, This is probably my worse game experience in over 2 years of eve. the node relocation just seem to make things worse.

They easily had 300+ on the first day and its by far not the limit. Tell us more about how rzr would be outnumbered...

Anyway , the fights during the say were fun , everything after 1900 was a joke thanks to CCPs inability to code for fleet battles and also some idiot DBA taking down teh node withotu warning (WTH was that all about?). Spent 2 hours trying to login and gave up and went to sleep. Saw on a screeny that I didnt die so the Hog lives for another day I hope that all losses on both sides are petitioned and refunded for CCPs balls up. Good fights to everyone , friend and foe alike.

I am sure both alliances could send the players elsewhere. As silly as this sounds it may be the ONLY way to have a good fight. I say limit it to around 200 on each side Isn't it time alliances took action themselves? Its obvious CCP isn't going to fix this game and keep telling everyone "there were no issues wth our serves.. bla bla bla"

What option does a defending force have but to blob up and engage, when their system is threatened by a huge blob of hostiles? You just dont have much choice if you want to defend your space. I agree it was playable for those who could log in afterwards- albeit there were plenty of targets to be found who quite clearly werent capable of fighting back

When you have one large group about to jump into another large group you might want to consider waiting to deploy drones until your screen loads or at least until after they jump in. It won't stop all the lag, but it might help a little.

I know for certain that this was not the primary tactic that the Old North were planning on using, but for anyone who knew the numbers involved to think the node/server would stand up to it was kidding themselves. I agree with Dtee, better tactics are needed, tho I just dont think there is enough honor in the eve community for a "Lag Treaty" to actually hold. Sorry to hear everyone had such a lagged fight. Im sure that eventually we will see 200vs 200 with relatively little lag, but by that stage we will be gagging for 500 vs 500 fleet battles, or more likely simply playing another game. And can anyone confirm that people were deploying drones before or during the jump in? FC's on both sides should of been experienced enough to command thier forces NOT to deploy drones in that sort of enviroment. If someone did call for drones than I would definately consider that exploiting known game mechanics/flaws. If it was done adhoc it denotes poor leadership or discipline on the part of the offending side.
