Now back to the subject.
I just noticed your killboard project and wondering if it's better than EVE-Dev version. If I update my KB with this, what will happen to exciting killmails? How often you update your board? Does EVE-Dev templates work there?
I ask this because I want to have feeds working on my board too with major KB's.
I am biased on the "Is it better" subject as you can imagine. Maybe some would say so, maybe not. It will be up to the people using it if I ever release that thing. Just didn't had a big long enough time to prepare it to be releasable yet.
The eve-dev templates will not work on it. It's a complete rewrite of the system and there is no html in the code anymore. Everything else works about the same except for a few difference here and there.
The feeds works exactly the same so yes you can use the feed of the MPIRE KB. ------ This sig space is Read-only ! omgalink - Online Skillsheet |

As for the messed up mail subject, note also that sometimes, there is no final blow on a mail and the killboards don't show the kill unless you point it out directly.
But you usually can see it in the Auditing section of the admin. (eve-dev-like killboards)
I took the habit to modify these to put the final blow on the top damage pilot (first pilot of the list). That way, it doesn't modify the mail to create a duplicate on other boards when they sync it.

I think that is just the way the kill mails work... I think when a ship is destroyed, the km generator looks at the involved parties and just adds whatever ship they are in at the time.

The CPU guys (I had never heard of them until yesterday, to be honest) put down a POS in AH- yesterday.
We took a gang down there, had a damned good fleetbattle. We jumped in on them with a large bubble on the gate.
After the initial 2-3 minute slideshow the lag cleared right up for a lot of people and the killing started.
I remember thinking to myself when we cynoed in a couple of dreads into the center of a Large Bubble: "This had better go good..."
Anyhow, we held the field, looted everything and warped the dreads up to their POS and knocked their warp jamming battery to incapacitated.
We hung out and incapacitated one of the guns on the POS, while one of our carriers warped into their POS to scoop some fighters the CPU guys left in space somehow.
After a bit we all jumped out, after some GF type stuff in local. Good scrap that was.
Today, I joined a little late, but I cynoed into a POS, then warped onto the gate in the middle of a big furball. We held the field again, but we got word of a 90+ gang only a jump or two out, so we warped to the POS. (I think we had about 40-50 alive at this point, but I don't know for sure)
Got the order to jump to HB7, so the Dreads and carriers jump out and hold at the jump bridge, waiting for the go order to go back to BKG.
So after maybe 10 minutes of hanging out at the jump bridge, a hostile recon ship pops a cyno about 15k from us, and my client starts lagging like a mofo.
About 20 seconds later, I start seeing all the cyno jumps and there's a collective "OH CRAP" from our cap pilots, many of whom are in the process of jumping back to BKG, leaving only about half of the caps we had at the jump bridge POS.
So the FC gives the command to jump bridge out, and the rest of the caps jump back to BKG.
Everyone breathes a collective sigh of relief, until somebody comments: "Hey, did Gung make it out? "
NO HE DIDN'T OMG
So I'm sitting there MASHING the right click button trying to get the jump bridge to activate, and the jump menu won't come up.
No crap, over a minute goes by, and I know I am doomed. I've got a decent tank on, but there's 10+ caps all sitting around me putting on their bibs and pulling out their silverware.
I've now entered the starbase password over 10 times in about 20 seconds, and FINALLY I jump out, while screaming like a little girl.
Then I lag out.
Then somebody starts DDOSing our TS server.
I'm typing in gang "Am I alive? lol" in every channel I can find, and someone says yeah, you're in BKG...
Anyhow good times, Razor pulled a nifty hat trick with the jump-in on us.
Final note: Smacking is stupid, as is DDOSing TS servers, whoever that is doing that. Not saying it is CPU or Razor, but it got to the point where we had to switch servers and it's just plain annoying.
Good fights in the last week, looking forward to the 5 days of vacation coming up.

it was almost a very nice 'hat trick' as you say... regretably, the jump in lag was horrendous, I finally cleared up to start a lock on you right as you were jumping out...
Oh well, our carrier blob got to spam smartbombs at ppl who jumped thru your jump bridge back at us, we got a megathron and a jaguar. I think our support fleet took a bit of a pounding from the pos (why they were at the pos, i'll never know...)
Any ways, just goes to prove that jump bridges arnt a 'win' button, you should always get it scouted...
Good Fights, my friends, fare well. /Siggy

Us having anything to do with it is completely unfounded. All I did was order your house burnt down, but that's just the level of meta-pillaging we've all gotten used to by now.
In all seriousness, our tackling carriers simply lagged out on jump in and the Arazu exploded. It was partially our fault because we didn't have the proper ship ready, but mostly bad luck screwing up a wonderful trap :(
Oh well, sooner or later.

After a month of planning, yesterday around 16:00 eve time our plan was put into action.
Capital ships were cyno'd into lower Branch with 1 tower being thrown up as a base. We were met with much resistance by M. Pire, Fatal and COWS. A really nice fight was fought on both sides. A call was to arms was putout in chat channels and a large PA gang came to the frey.
Soon after a general withdrawal notice went out for support ships to fall back to protect the carriers until they could be jumped out. Capitals were safely jumped out to their respective locations for staging with no capital loses on either side.
Today around the same time another CPU fleet departed staging locations and again cyno'd were lit up in southern Branch with more POS spamming. Once again we were met with heavy resistance. Another call to arms was answered once again by PA who sent another large group to our aide as well as Mordus Angels and Razor Alliance.
CPU pod pilots managed to hold the gate until reinforcements could arrive, then all hell broke loose with hostiles falling back to their jump bridge POS which was soon attacked by Razor.
Hostilities continue in the area and I would personally like to thank pilots from PA, Razor, Mordus and everyone else continuing to join is as we assault the area of southern Branch and what appears to be an industrial base of M. Pire
Thanks to everyone. ---------------------------- Alliance Executive Head of Diplomatic Relations Combined Planetary Union |

Slight update for you we took the fleet back to BKG and kicked ass a M.Pire Archon went down in flames, and everything else that tried to suicide save it. Got a few nice bits of loot from it... was even more enough so that I wish I was flying an Itty V and not support. =p
Anyway well played guys and nice job on the webs. Who ever gave us the warp in as well I want your babies.
Also another little note almost insta lock and web from support fleet doesn't count as de-sync get over it!

Have u ever thought the problem with desync was with maybe bieng bumped?? cos i do

Well put and nicely done so far but its a shame you are more diplomatic on CAOD than actually in game where you are less than civil.
As for M.Pires industrial side? Not quite sure what you mean here. M. Pire are everywhere, you just stumbled upon one of our many hundreds of pos's. What intregues me is that you would plan to goto and setup in a system in lower branch where you know you'll be contested?

It was an attempted trap Del, RZR and chums knew we would respond and prepared the trap with CPU. It didn't go exactly to plan though because we killed a load of CPU before RZR arrived, and by the time RZR did arrive we were well out of there.
Luckily for them that we experienced problems with our TS exactly as this was happening, which was incredibly bad timing as TS is always rock solid even with double those numbers.
This gave RZR n Co. chance to sit at our HB7 POS uncontested as we were unable to form up. If we had been able to get people together things would have been much different as I saw multiple opportunities for an absolute slaughter.
And so it continues! CPU, lets hope you are ready for a fight since you now entered the conflict proper.

mhmmm... Since you had a month to work and plan on this seems you did **** all , Honestly 3 POS in HA- you needed to plan a month for that, shows how pathic your allaince is.? why dont you take hints and tips from RZR and MM and CO on how take over a System since they did so well in BKG. seeing you write this just trips me out as you put it our industrial base ? thats a good one , how did you ever figure that one out. What you have showen to everyone is that your RZR and PA spammin POS oh wait you cant spammin POS so forget that comment :) I start that one again.
