It's OK. Whine and troll as much as you like the mods will prolly just delete all the topics about the server crashes. Then their logs will trully show nothing.
As a matter of fact I expect this forum to be locked any second now  .
If you have no problem with the server, why don't you go play the damn game and leave people speak their minds.

People can complain all they want. Freedom of speech and all that plus it's entertaining as hell. I'm sure CCP is working on the problem and I'm being patient just reading this but I just have to say 1 thing.. Kittamaru you should NOT be comparing EVE now to what it was in beta.. It's far from that and honestly nobody gives a crap how long you've been playing and I am tired of watching you say the same things over and over. If you want to kiss CCP's ass start a new thread and call it Kitt wants to kiss CCP's ass. tyty

Yep, I'm really considering to stop. But then there are real people in this game, friends I made. So why am I dissapointed? Because I can't be 24/7 with them ("cry me a river")? No, but of course I have to work and have a family also, and after all the days tasks are done I look forward to play a couple hours with said friends. Well, as the ETA again was moved 30 mins ahead (not that I did actually expect the servers to come online at 23:00) I have to leave it be for today.
Oh, BTW did you also participated in the beta of Earth and Beyond? I don't know, but that beta seemed more stable than Eve today (but the game itself was of course not as good as Eve - but what does that help if you can't play).

Dark Paragon, I'm not kissing anybodies ass. I have gripes with EvE and I have made them known...
HOWEVER
I have seen EvE in it's infancy... and I've played eve for long enough to know that CCP does a bang up job at keeping EvE running and interesting. The cost is fair (especially if you pay for longer times at once) and the game is constantly evolving... you don't really get that elsewhere without paying for the extras.
I didn't start the comparisons either Paragon... I simply ended them.

They have tried to fix Jita... the problem is, there is no real practical way to make a single system support 500 + people constantly.
If you want to pay for a parrallel processing dual quad-core cpu, 8 gig DDR3 ram rig with liquid cooling... I'm sure CCP could arrange for it.
however... as it is, Jita is up to the players to fix. Spread OUT a little...
you know WOW had a huge lag problem with the auction house only being in ironforge and what did they do..
BAM made all auction houses universal so you could buy the same thing in any major city..
if you want us to move away from JITA than do the same thing.. it cant be that difficult.. a small transporter or something along those lines for people who need to RP or just make it so the stuff appears in my inventory i dont care how it gets there as long as its there when i buy it...

My both accounts are not skilling actually, as skills they were training were ending with a 20 minutes difference. There was remaining like 15 minutes to the first one when server crashed.
I am not happy, but well, ranting will make things go faster ? no.
I am an IT and i perfectly know how unattended problems can lenghten a repair, especially when it involves hardware
I just can wait anyway

UPDATE: 9 minutes to server restart, 15 minutes earlier than the estimated 23:30 up-time! Granted, they did push the estimated restart time back twice, but it wasn't really that horrible to wait for them to fix some problems.

They are working on it... NPC transport and the auction system... I liked the old escrow BUT ya know, win some ya loose some.

Yeah sure, the game is down, it kind of sucks because we've all payed to play for a month and we all wanted to chillout a bit in the evening(or whatever your local time might be)... but alas, technology failed. booohoooo
If you want something reliable, go reed a book. Also, i heard someone complain about the skill system being "time consuming" - roflmaozedun, this is THE system that is designed for busy people. Show me -one- game in which you can actually progress while being offline. You have to be online at a "certain time" ? Well DOH, if you can't get online for 3 minutes to change your skill, then fucking PLAN YOUR SKILLS so that you have them all finish in your online-time. The only complaint i can think of about the skill system is that it takes maybe too long for new players to "catch up"(even though that is not actually possible, but still can be achieved to a certain point).

Aren't all the phones in the world supposed to ring at once when this happens?
For my 2 pennies worth, ccp seems to stay up longer than my isp seems to be able to. In the days of dial up, the isp would crash every 30mins on a bad day or not connect you at all. But saying that in alot of industries if you dont provide the service correctly you dont get paid.
