Kittamaru Gallente TARDZ Gods of Night and Day	Posted - 2007.09.11 21:50:00 - [1] Okay, you guys, you haters, you know what... go out and make your own game that can support 30k people at once and see how easy it is to keep it online... make it almost lag free in normal conditions (having 200 people in a single battle at once is NOT normal conditions) and make it fun, exciting, and easy enough for new players to pick up so long as vets don't ruin it. Make it with a real player controlled market and actual territory. I dare you... I really do. And after you fail, I expect you to come back and THANK CCP for putting up with your BS*$&# long enough to fix the servers few problems. KEEP ON TRUCKING CCP!

Yeah CCP, let us make our own game and charge people for the priliage of playing it online with working ISPS that cant connect to the game server - let us make stuff that doesn't work and let people complain to us.....yeah. LEt us make a skill system that requires us to be online at points to maintain skill progression, and let us periodically frustrate paying customers with un scheduled server issues. Yeah lets do that.

HOWEVER Did any of you stop to think that, maybe, just maybe, the random five million percent increase in dataload on the forums from people whining and moaning and complaining MIGHT make things a little complicated for CCP? I'm surprised they don't take the forums down when this happens... it's the same **** every time! WE HATE YOU! WE'RE GONNA LEAVE! Consider this: EvE: Medium playerbase Large community Single server supporting MANY people (largest single server I dare say) HUGE universe Many Servers in the cluster Power draw - Enormous Daily downtime for what maintenance CAN be done Free new content Free addon packs Mucho customizability Compare it to, say, WoW... you are lucky if you can get your character to look REMOTELY disttinct... not to mention the point click wait interface, the small numbers of REAL people on a server, ect... oh, and the fact they charge out the ASS for the new content... which is mostly more of the same old same old. How about Guild Wars, or SWG, or even Diablo 2... think about it... you get an AWFUL lot for not a lot of money...
