For a game thats been out for over 4 years this is the buggiest dang thing i've ever played. this game is worse than the old soldner portal.....
if you guys want to borrow some computer parts i've got some an old stick of 512mb dd2 ram laying around i could loan you guys.. not trying to be part of the problem ...im trying to be part of the solution....

The problem is, EvE Rev 2 is NOT the same game it was four years ago... even the physics and graphics ENGINES are being overhauled...

Then why are you still playing? You must like the game a lot, you've got a nice custom sig and everything.

ya i do like the game a lot... just started playing it 3 months ago.... i'm willing to put up the bugs because the game dosent require me to spend all day and night raiding to get a bad ass character, i can enjoy life and still skill up my toon...Thanks for the nice comment on my sig BTW. an awesome corp mate made it for me.

I gotta admit I agree with the butt kissers;
I too love CCP for the great job they did with EVE.
BUT
I also hate CCP for destroying it everytime they touch it.
Question: aren't patches supposed to fix things?

Consider this:
How about Guild Wars, or SWG, or even Diablo 2...
think about it... you get an AWFUL lot for not a lot of money...
You can't compare EVE to Guild Wars and Diablo 2. There is no pay / month like with EVE. And I never had a problem with the other games crashing.
Furthermore, EVE is crashing and they can't fix it because of design errors in the game. One I can show immediately is using one SQL database without ability to migrate to another vendor. That's been the cause of all crashes and Microsoft either doesn't want to help or doesn't care or doesn't have expertise. If CPP wants control over their DB, they should have picked PostgreSQL - at least then they can fix it if it craps out. If they wanted to have options and don't want to control the DB, at least have the ability to migrate the DB layer to another vendor.
Second, EVE can scale easily because each system is separate from another. Lag is generally not a problem because EVE is not an action game. It is strategy only. There is NOT even a need to have every system on the server or even same data center.
