Hooray! More additions to the game that fall in the "currently inaccessible to you" category!
*sighs* no matter. I guess this just means I'll continue to grind ISK or wait for the price to drop while I skill endlessly :)

Better start stocking up on tech 2 components and moon minerals and products now. ;) With demand for them doubling or tripling due to tech 2 BS building prices are sure to rise!

If those numbers actually make it to live, I think we will be looking at 1.5bil+ for the highend T2 ships - and thats once the dust settles, prolly 2bil+ in the begining.
Makes we wonder if they are really worth more than cap ships?

So.. I'm lazy and at work to go see singularity but is there BP info for the jump freighter? (Cos if it's invented from freighter bpc.. how much does a freighter bpc cost to begin with..) It really shouldn't be T2, rather tier 2.
T2 BS seems like a good isk sink for rich players

So we can expect 5bill start price, lowering to 2bill over time?, as the required skills are not very pushing.

My wallet is overjoyed in seing expensive component cost for T2 BSs, since that means decryptors (in which I invested heavily) will be able to sell for so much more _

No your not. As with every single T2 ship the insurance will likely be that of its T1 varient, woot for 100m isk platinum. -------------------------------------------

wrong
high cost means less demand, which means less ship are built, hence less decryptors used, which in turn means lower decryptor value

Yeah. Heavy Interdictors and the EAS should cost around what I'd like them too. I lost interest in battleships about a 6-8 months after the very first BS was built so the cost of those T2 variants mean nothing to me.

ROFL, you're KIDDING, right ? Here's a newsflash... Caracal 4,560,000 platinum payout, Cerberus 17,950,950 platinum payout (sells for 69 mil). Moa 8,000,000 platinum payout, Eagle 17,062,524 platinum payout (sells for 52 mil). Ferox 24,000,000 platinum payout, Nighthawk 58,533,600 platinum payout (sells for 190 mil). Not necessarily, but it's a possibility indeed.
The reason is in the platinum payout. The more extra components are used, the more more expensive the platinum payout is, the less invention overhead matters when ship blows up. Marauders, for better or worse, will still be used in PvP. Now, would you rather lose a 700 mil CNR (and get 100 mil back), or a 700 mil Golem (and get 400 mil back) ? If ship would be much cheaper in components (say, at most equal to T1 ship cost, or less), would you rather have a 600 mil Golem (and get 200 mil back when it pops) ?
Well, ok, not QUITE like that, but you get the idea. _

That's because the drones do the damage for the ship, not the highslots. ---

You know...
To lower prices on the T2 battleships, CCP could simply allow more moon minerals to be mined.
High-sec moon mining anyone?
There's lots of towers in empire that could be used to mine moon minerals. Allow these moons to be mined, increases basic component supply, increase advanced component supply, lower the overall cost of the new shiny T2 BS's!
(NOTE: The above assumes that you can't moon mine in empire. If this is wrong, please have Tarminic use his forum-fu to mock me into oblivion.)

Exactly, because when capitals and super capitals were introduced into EvE all the new players quit and no new ones showed up. And when HACs and Command ships were introduced, no new players stayed with the game. Remember the mass exodus back in the day when interceptors were first released? Back when a really laggy day was 50 people in Yulai and 4k concurrent users was zomg 3 day weekend?

Ahoy o/ Was wondering what the build costs of the new shiny T2 ships is going to. However after long search on eve-o i found nothing, so i made a list myself.
Couldnt be arsed to do all the races so just caldari (for now atleast) These prices are the average of Jita market.
Before you read further take a look here. Now put on your tinfoil hat and download my sexy spreadsheet.
0 ME build cost: Marauder: Golem - 390'240'990,6 ISK Black Ops: Widow - 317'220'287,2 ISK Heavy Interdictor: Onyx - 28'785'832,0 ISK Electronic Attack Ship: Kitsune - 4'567'701,5 ISK
-7 ME build cost: (Real Cost) Marauder: Golem - 638'590'357 ISK Black Ops: Widow - 519'099'278 ISK Heavy Interdictor: Onyx - 47'105'135 ISK Electronic Attack Ship: Kitsune - 7'474'585 ISK
Too pricy you think? Remember theres invention cost and whatever else comes into that kinda stuff (im no carebear).

Where is your fking brain? You can easily check that all other races will be same +-5%. Except for gallente where you can look at even +10% (because gall components tend to get overpriced fast, and are slowest to get back to base price).

Given that the majority of decryptors will be used for the smaller T2 ships, I don't think the amount used for the new T2 battleships invention will have any effect on the markets. A much larger effect will probably come from CCP's stated intent of removing the decryptors from the static COSMOS complexes (and about damned time too....)

Not THAT cool. For double/triple/quadruple the price, I'd like to get double/triple/quadruple the ship. Why risk one Sin when you can suicide a half dozen dominix's instead with full insurance.
