I can't believe that this thread has gotten to page five without the mention of the following words:
Drag And Drop
Trying to gather and manage a gang / fleet using the current right-click system is so very painful. We can drag and drop items, why not pilots?

I think a green light is an easier visual for healthy than healthy and damaged all being different shades of red. Make them yellow, blue and pink, I don't care.
But all red is a bit weird I think.

Oh, and maybe, if there is enough time, make the drone healthbars visible for singleton drones while they are in the drone bay too? Prettyplease?
Would really help to send out the spares instead of the just damaged ones.

please try to make it so the ships/asteroids/whatever you have targeted can be moved. if they cant be moved to any spot in the game, how about more choices for static positions like just over our modules.

Abandon drone's placement is a little too dangerous for my taste but I like the feature in general.

Looks great. I'm really looking forward to those improvements.
How about also removing the annoying 'crosshair' lines for locked targets? One for the currently selected target would be great. But atm all those lines are more like an annoyance than anything else. They're supposed to be helpful, but with six or more locked targets it gets pretty confusing.

I haven't read through all the posts, so perhaps this has been posted before but it would be great to be able to create groups in your overview like you can with drones. So for example I could create a group for my gang mates, or a group for star gates. Then when moving a gang around it's a simple case of unfold the star gates group and gang mates group to broadcast the align point and check everyone's velocity. Or in a fight, minimise to keep them out of the way and stop those friendly fire incidents.
I know that I can achieve something similar with lots of saved overview settings, but this doesn't always stop you from having to scroll to find out every thing you need.

Yea so true! I'll keep playing on 1024 cause in heigher resolutions the font is far too small for me :( Because of that i doub i have a free place for all the new windows.

With drones not regaining shield when scooping, it would help to see their damage status when they are in dronebay.
Many dedicated drone ships have increased dronebay, to field replacement drones, but as you dont know which drone is damaged and which not, it id neccessary to move the damaged drones to a diffrent group while they are still in space, then scoop.
Thas a bit cumbersome, and could be helped with damage status visible while they are in dronebay.

There should be some unassigned role slots and graphical icons so people can set customized roles to different players. Wouldn't actually do anything except tell the rest of the fleet which player is performing a specific role that perhaps the devs didn't think might be used by players.

Those light-red dots at the end of the hitpoint bar are the indicator for "full hitpoints" while the dark red inside the bar is "damaged".

Depends on your monitor size a bit too. I don't like to squint while reading stuff so I didn't move on to 1280x1024 until I got a 19" LCD. It tends to be a bit small but at least in chat windows you can change the font size. And on that note, I'd like to be able to set a default there.. every time a conversation window pops up, I have to hit the increase font size button a few times.
Of course, allowing you to pick your own font and it's base size would be even sweeter.
Drone targeting adds an icon to the target? Cool, though I hope it doesn't resize the icons to tiny specks when you have a target with 15+ icons on it (5 drones, 8 highslot, web, scram, ew from mids).
I haven't been on Sisi, so are drones fine now and not like the dude in Memento? (Heavies take your attack command, fly about 40-50km in the direction of the target, and then do whatever the heck they want, usually attacking up to 5 different targets NOT including the one you told them to attack..)

I agree and not necessarily because we'd changed it so shield doesn't heal in station although that makes the problem a bit more visible.
This is actually not as easy as you'd think it would be but a whole lot easier than I originally thought it would be, so hopefully we can put this in the pipeline and fix it post Trinity expansion.
