I did not get ganked.
They are violating the TOS with their corp name. The filter here seems to think so as well.
biggerdly, s*****rdly, snaggardly, figgerdly ????
I wish CCP would force and even investigate these things sometimes. Find some better GM's maybe?

CCP are clueless in this area, I wrote 6 petitions about a player called "PakiMosher" only to be asked why it is offensive. CCP might be good at making games but its seems they dont know there ********s from their elbows.

I think it's only in UK that it is offensive. 'Paki' is short for Pakistani and considered to be very racist, as racist as n****r. Mosher, or moshing, is when you aggressively push and shove someone, ie in rock concerts you have mosh pits.

my name was changed by a GM... My name passes the filter here with a perfect score. Why should this corp be a filter problem and have a corp named it in game?
The GM that changed my name should have been fired!

Well perhaps the reason they are able to use them(******edly for example) is because it is recognized word in the English language.(political correctness aside...the word is not derogatory).
Futtbucker is a play on a word. Anybody with sense can recognize it's vulgar origin.
Suppose I created a character with the name "Klit Oris",I would hope and expect the name to be changed. It is not a clever play on words and it's intended meaning cannot be argued.
Keep vulgarity where it belongs...in the rubbish bin.

I have no problem with saying it because I think it's stupid to take normal words and make them into a racist word. One of them being the 'n' word. Although I would say that one since I'd probably be podded :) Seriously though, things are only racist if you intend them to be so.
For example the story with that photographer who got the kids in a school picture line up from lightest to darkest. Now to me, I think that is the most non-racist I've ever heard. Seems like it's a taboo now days to mention colour. Now that is actually what is racist.

True, but seeing as I see two people recognize the racist element in the name "PakiMosher", it seems it's a well known racist remark. Official or not.
Its nice to play with words for a name. But keep it funny.

no problem with funny names
i do have a problem with offensive names
as futtbucker is clearly an obvious play on words i personally find it offensive and conclude the op is an idiot and an attention seeker, both to have a name like that and secondly to draw attention to it.

In the movie Idiocracy, "Futtbucker's" is the name of a store/market that at some point have gotten dumbed down with time, and eventually evolves further into, well the obscene anagram version of it.

****** One entry found.
******
Main Entry: nig+ger Pronunciation: \ˈni-gər\ Function: noun Etymology: alteration of earlier neger, from Middle French negre, from Spanish or Portuguese negro, from negro black, from Latin niger Date: 1786 1usually offensive; see usage paragraph below : a black person 2usually offensive; see usage paragraph below : a member of any dark-skinned race 3: a member of a socially disadvantaged class of persons <it's time for somebody to lead all of America's ******sàall the people who feel left out of the political process ù Ron Dellums> usage ****** in senses 1 and 2 can be found in the works of such writers of the past as Joseph Conrad, Mark Twain, and Charles ****ens, but it now ranks as perhaps the most offensive and inflammatory racial slur in English. Its use by and among blacks is not always intended or taken as offensive, but, except in sense 3, it is otherwise a word expressive of racial hatred and bigotry.
Any form of this word should be filtered in-game when creating chars and corps or the IRC ,imo.It would save alot headaches further down the road.

Quite easy to decide acceptable or unacceptable. If you have to ask CCP, GMs, mods, friends, parents or EULA then it is unacceptable.

Quite easy. What is the first thing you see or think when you see the name? If it is something bad, it is unacceptable.
A different perception. Use a metal kettle and boil the water. Try to touch and hold the metal kettle by its body. What is the first thing that comes to mind when you are about to hold the kettle? Holding the kettle by its handle is not allowed. --------- Technica impendi Caldari generis. Pax Caldaria!
