Yeah, probably, didnt know how much value i had to attach to the "OMG, there must be a hundred wrecks on that gate..." probably meant both parties losses.. :) I did check the killboads and to be honest they dont say all that much, especially when it comes to losses people tend to "forget" to post them... They really should make an ingame loss system that fairly tracks losses.

Well, I don't really do updates when things are so up in the air.
Suffice to say we have been having fun and I am sure Triumvirate are having fun too
Triumvirate's Southern Campaign can be viewed here. Their KB is pretty accurate. Just the occasional loss missing but nothing to whine about especially when our KB is private

As you can see they have a lot of kills down South - including for some reason - an IAC Dread which undocked into 2 Nyxes and 50 assorted other Capitals in Misaba yesterday - and then aggressed of its own accord.
As you can see from Triumvirate killboard at the moment CVA itself is 'up' on damage done... however this is primarily because we are local and adept at avoiding the +100 man roaming nano gangs and catching the lonely stragglers and small gangs during Tri's quieter periods...
Tri vs CVA atm is:
94 (CVA) Ships killed (3253.41M ISK) 137 (Tri) Ships lost (7841.26M ISK) - according to Tri KB
and
143 (TRI) Ships killed (8450.53M ISK) 97 (CVA) Ships lost (3396.58M ISK) - according to CVA killboard
...so the two KBs pretty much corroborate each other.
On a tactical level this has been the biggest head to head so far:

On a strategic level Tri have whacked 3 of our POS in Misaba into reinforced and there was pretty much sod all we could do about it

In the meanwhile an Amarrian Fleet departed to the unholy cold north to bring light to the land of the midnight sun. We launch a devastating attack on TRI Home system managing to put the shields of one station service at 99%!!! All the ships thrown at us by TRI faced a assured death (1 crow and 1 Vulture) even if the last ship managed to tank the 50 Amarrian war vessels for about 1 minute!!!
All the objectives of Operation "Light in the North" were achieved and we burned the engines till Providence. The fact that TRI was attacking our POS's in Providence with a fleet of 40 Caps had nothing to do with it!!!!

I sat in my station in PB yawning when intelchannels lit up with a big fleet of neutrals in X-70. Intrigued I made our scouts check who they were. I simply refused to believe they were speaking the truth. Shame. Would have been fun ;D

Heh..genius choice by my friends in TRI. I think they have made a very fun decision here and I expect they'll get a pretty good fight out of our RPer bretheren (  ) CVA (and friends).
This is a group of people tied to their region and a set of ideals and I just don't see them pulling up stakes on a whim just because war makes life too hard.

The real reason for this post however is I've been taken back by the refreshing nature of reading a CAOD thread (now) with 2 sides of a war and posting without the intense rivalry spilling over into 'craptalk'! (I'm patenting that word - 1 Isk fee each usage tx)
I'm tempted to start a new CAOD post about it but we all know what'd happen there!

I am having fun and seeing a lot of mega-blob fights . Have taken some losses, but got some kills also . Ships are going "POP!" like popcorn on both sides here  Providence. The lag to defend CVA's outpost was horrible. My screen updated only once every 10+ seconds when our Providence coalition blob (CVA, Paxton, Severence, Sylph, and many others) met Triumvirate's blob. It was easily 100+ vs 100+ blob on blob, lag infested action. Its also been an interesting experience to coordinate the Providence coalition's intel sharing, vent coms, and pvp fleet operations.
