One that could match our needs for PVP and fighting, rather than mass blobs, lag and POS warfare? One that fights independently and wouldn't call in their mass amounts of friendly alliances? We're not stupid, we're not going to pick a fight where we'd be so outnumbered we wouldn't stand a chance in hell of loading let alone winning. So you see, you're preaching to the choir here, we'd like that target on a platter, we may not be as good as some people make us out to be but that's the problem with being the so called "flavour of the month", we have a long way to fall. Surprisingly refreshing i actually got a straight answer. Unfortunately your alliance, and this is something i noticed while in the alliance, seems to want to fight alliance warfare like its 03/04. If your waiting to get a fight that is pos/blob/ally free then your gonna be waiting a long time. The only alliance that i can even think of somewhat along your lines would be smash/rk, but they have been known to drop 35+ lrg towers in a single night. And to clarify, i never said you guys were 'crap'. I only said that there is nothing to backup the huge rep that the community hold you guys at.

The reputation TRI has, was formed from fight, after fight, after fight. 99% of those fights having no meaning what so ever other than enjoyment. We have fought nearly every major alliance in eve in some form or another, and have had alot of success against many of them. TRI itself back in the day when it was very small did alot for an alliance of its size, some remember that very well. Without a doubt i think we have an amazing reputation, one that is probably impossible to live up to, but alot of PvP and blown up ships forged this reputation, not just our conquest of space. But all in all while we enjoy compliments, our alliance is not dictated by "how will this effect our reputation?". If people dont like what we do when we do it, then why do we care signature removed - please email us to find out why (include a link to the image URL) - Jacques([email protected])

Then you'd consider Smashkill and allies, then RZR/MM and allies(arguably similar Pacts but still), then then GBC, then RSF. It's ******** to suggest that Tri would attack RA since that would mean attacking RSF and they specifically and repeatedly said that they want to stay out of blob wars. The only remotely logical invasion would be against Smashkill's allies in the drones and even that is going very close to node-killing blob fights. Of course this is all ignoring the simple answer: Tri can just roam around pvping and ignore pos and other stuff. But, hey, don't let me bring common sense into your CAOD. edit. Personally I remember Tri from before(during?) the ASCN war. They dropped a POS somewhere in the north, assembled their full fleet of 30-40 players and held it against hundreds of D2 and friends for several hours. Nothing they've done in terms of territory taking is as impressive imo.

If your waiting to get a fight that is pos/blob/ally free then your gonna be waiting a long time. The only alliance that i can even think of somewhat along your lines would be smash/rk, but they have been known to drop 35+ lrg towers in a single night. And to clarify, i never said you guys were 'crap'. I only said that there is nothing to backup the huge rep that the community hold you guys at. Give me a break. TRI aren't overrated - who's overrating them? They're pretty good, and more fun to fight than most, that's not saying anything inaccurate. Sure, Deklein folded pretty fast (Hi o/) but they did a good job and presented a unified front. After such a long time where the alliances were divided into the 'We hate you' and the 'We hate you more' camps, it's worth mentioning that there are good, newer alliances out there (or old alliances evolving) that are making an impact and not just NAP'ing everyone in sight.

As far as I can tell its all jump bridgeable, everything in the making for a great spot to build a powerhouse, especially when its just waiting there to be taken and comes pre-assembled.
