Please change the Gallente Baby Boy colors....

OldWolfe The Scope	Posted - 2007.11.28 03:22:00 - [1] All the other races have those "easy on the eyes" colors that feels as if they're rough hardy bunch of spaceships...except the Gallente ships. They are all bunch of baby boy colors that doesn't give a feeling of the gritty pride in our ships, let alone the colors that matches the intense fight we have out there in space. Just...please change the baby boy colors to something else more in line with the gritty nature of EVE-online.

Paul Castrin Gallente Shiva Morsus Mihi	Posted - 2007.11.28 07:34:00 - [14] /not_signed Just got on and got all the updates downloaded and have to say that the teal/cyan color with the burnished metal looks kick butt. The older (lesser?) cruisers (Celestis, Vexor) look wicked cool and for the most part all the ships are improved. Of all the MegaT looks downright scary with the lines and paint blending in such a way as to look almost organic. I do have one wish though, give the Vigilant back its cool camouflage paint job it has now. Neaten it up of course but it looks rather sad and worn out with out it. Great job and really looking forward to the new skins. Peace.

I did go on to the SiSi server and it enforces my feelings even more. There is no sense of color pride to the gallente ships. It's all in colors that promotes a feeling of "dont take them seriously" mild to null uninspiring baby colors (even including command ship that should've had colors that gives out a sense of command). The only ships that has anything of the feel of EVE is the navy mega and the faction mega and the Deimos and the navy Vexor. Pretty much it. Come on, CCP, pick some better colors for Gallente....

Well, aside from the fact that I would have no problem driving a hot pink paris car, you realize that in real life you make design decisions on your own, correct? When you go to buy a car you could theoretically purchase any colour you wanted, and pink honda civics drive just as fast as black ones. Here no one is going to judge you on that basis, because you didn't choose to buy a baby blue spaceship. You chose to buy a gallente ship, and baby blue was the only colour available. Until CCP introduces customization no one will care what your ship looks like.
