I call shenanigans. Bourbon = horrible hangover. Guinness, not so much. Guinness is much darker than bourbon. Therefore, your argument is invalid. Naughty by nature, wicked by choice.-á |

Jun 17, 1885: Statue of Liberty arrives
On this day in 1885, the dismantled Statue of Liberty, a gift of friendship from the people of France to the people of America, arrives in New York Harbor after being shipped across the Atlantic Ocean in 350 individual pieces packed in more than 200 cases. |

Fellow Capsuleers,
During a routine Cosmos mission in Caldari space, my ship sensors picked up a strange Anomaly reading. I decided to investigate it and encountered a sleek rectangular object of unknown origin floating in space. It seemed to be solid with various shades of dark grey to black.
When my ship approached it, the object started to change and all I could say was : "My God, it's full of stars."
That's when my ship computer said : "Hello Dave, it's good to be working with you again."
Needless to say, my name isn't Dave. I knew something was wrong so I gave the order to dock in a nearby station for maintenance.
That's when my ship computer said : "I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that."
I had to regain control of my ship so I removed the main UUB Nexus Chip and Motherboard A.I. Circuits. Doing that resulted in a complete loss of all sensor readings but I was able to dock in a nearby station. After a complete reboot of my ship computer, I managed to retrieve one visual scan of the object.
An Official Advisory was issued with the object designated as :
Black Monolith - Warning - Use extreme caution when encountering this object. Close contact may result in 'Mainframe Meltdown' of ships computer.
Anyway, my ship computer seems to be working correctly now except for one small side affect.
It keeps insisting that I call it 'HAL'.
Oh well, at least it's not calling me 'Dave' anymore.

During a routine mission to my POS in my Orca, I encountered a strange anomaly.
It started out as two spinning circles, then began making me left-click, right-click, shift-click, drag, scroll up and down, click tiny triangles, then stare at spinning circles again.
After a lengthy engagement, I finally discovered this anomaly to be a new feature called the UNIFIED INVENTORY.
Exhausted, I retreated to my nearest station and logged off. Not only had I lost the battle, but I knew I had to face the enemy again soon.

Hello again . You know all the wise men, and one stupid woman, have been having a grand discussion on a new rule this week. Well we were blessed by having a few lawyer types in the discussion. I need to be careful, one's a friend of mine. As the usual lawyer types do, they get completely caught up on on how to decide what color there shoes are, instead of focusing on the policy at hand. To this end, I was inspired to provide a few examples of legal professional types, as, "I" see them. More likes please please.
A lawyer finds out he has a brain tumor, and it`s inoperable - in fact, it`s so large, they have to do a brain transplant. His doctor gives him a choice of available brains - there`s a jar of rocket scientist brains for $10 an ounce, a jar of regular scientist brains for $15 an ounce, and a jar of lawyer brains for the princely sum of $800 an ounce. The outraged lawyer says, "This is a rip-off - how come the lawyer brains are so damned expensive?" The doctor replies, "Do you know how many lawyers it takes to get an ounce of brains?" |
