Well, as long as the Overseer ship or structure isn't destroyed, expedition sites will stay active as long as the 24 hr timer doesn't expire. You may have inadvertently destroyed the Overseer before warping out or the expedition timer may have expired. As for the name - State Of The Nation - The only expedition name that even comes close to that is - Nation On The Rise - gained from Sansha Watch sites. Sansha High Security Unrated Combat Sites / ExpeditionsSansha Hideout = Drop Sansha Lookout = Slave Breading Plants Sansha Watch = Nation On The Rise Sansha Vigil = True Power Shipyards Anyway, after my ship was destroyed, I took a couple of screen shots while waiting for back up to come finish the site. Here's a screen shot showing the ships of the last half of the full spawn.Here's a screen shot showing the wrecks of the first half of the full spawn.Obviously I went into this both misinformed and uninformed due to incorrect and incomplete documentation. I was doing OK until I unknowingly triggered the Cosmos / last spawn. That's what got me. Can't do very much when there's 5 webs and 5 scrams on you with a MWD Armada bearing down on you. Not sure about the Overseer having to be shot for the site to disappear.
I honestly did not (could not) stay in the site long at all and only got a couple of frigates before fleeing. I actually sent in a Petition query about what had happened, since I had run the site before around a year earlier with no issue. And was surprised at the onslaught that ensued, and that the site had evaporated.
They said that pretty much everything was normal and the intent was for the site to be difficult, and I just dropped the matter. These episodes were at least a year apart though and that must have been that period when they reconfigured some of the missions, but apparently that included some of these DED spaces as well. That's all I can figure.
