Ahhh thanks. Now I know. It is what it is. And yeah I agree with you Paul.
I had a close friend die about 5 months ago. I met her in 2005. We met while I was roaming about mother Amamake doing a bit of piracy. Was a good fight. She killed me tho. Lol. After a year of playing together (we became instant friends after that day) we met up in New York and flew to fan fest together. Been great friends ever sense. She'll be missed... Yeah, I couldn't resist pushing her over the 6k mark. Might put a smile on her face in the morning while she drinks her coffee
Anyway, fly safe, post responsibly and take care. I'm off to bed after a rather horrible day.

Although I was a huge fan of Alices hair, tats, and overall look, the new one is not bad either. The black is rather fitting. :)
Come on 1K! Not posted much this week so I sllowrd down a bit. Paul, you and Alice however have sped through nicely.
I love this thread btw. For the most part everyone here comes in peace. It's very laid back and chilled. Pilots come here and post and its more like a circle of friends in a chat. It's nice to take a break from all the trolls. But going forward I was wondering what everyone's position is on the winter expansion. Will be the largest content expansion sense exodus or crucible. What's everyone's opinions, thoughts, and views? Also what's up with the new destroyers? I really hope its new seaside and that their not making them all into missles boats. And one other thing. It would he nice if they gave us PURE SO too inject equal too that of all the other BCs to lvl 5 rather than just them injecting all the other race BCs to 5 or destroyer to 5. Assuming you have both dessie and BC to 5 when they drop the expansion.
Edit: cheers ill drink with you. |

Dessie and BC changes not actually coming this expansion, no changes to your skills. But It should be cool, I think CCP is keeping their mouths shut about another new feature and quietly smugfacing. I'm sort of hoping its UI changes like they showed us at fanfest. Its about time eve got a complete UI overhaul.
On another note, what do people think of my avatar? the 'rate your avatar' thread tends to give really rather truncated answers. |

Being a bit of a drone-hugger I'm looking forward to the new tristan, it will be nice to play around with a drone frigate that doesn't cost 20mil isk. It'll also be nice to see what kind of changes they make the to Thorax and Vexor. As for the destroyers it will be interesting to see how those turn out, I'm not sure what kind of role a Gallente one would fill that isn't already being filled by other ships.
As for your avatar Saede I like it, the voluval suits your facial structure and the dark braided hair looks natural, the shirt is a nice touch and the background meshes well. Some might comment that it's too dark overall but I like dark so whatever. "Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom must undergo the fatigues of supporting it." - Thomas Paine |

I like it. I myself have about 75 to 80% of my body covered in tats and piercings in RL including full sleeves and a decent amount of facial tatts. So naturally I like it. The darkness is not an issue I don't think either.

Yeah for sure im looking forward to the cruiser changes as well. And the focused skill requirements change to ships that now require the smaller hull type to be at lvl 3 or 4 before you can train the skill or lvl 5 will no longer exist. IE: COMMAND SHIPS will no require a cruiser/racial cruiser skill to pilot. Only BC to lvl 5. |

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to that. It'll simplify things a great deal.
I'm also honestly quite excited for the mining frigate of all things, it'll be a really good lowend platform so I can start building things where I'm living in 0.0 without dragging a easily killable mining barge out there. New destroyers should be shiny. Yay missile destroyer. |

I don't really get the point of a missile destroyer, isn't that basicly what the caracal is? "Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom must undergo the fatigues of supporting it." - Thomas Paine |

@alice: red hair, new avatar, much hotter. and congrats for the 6k likes
regarding the winter expansion... i think the idea of implementing new ships and new UI or all that kind of stuff might be nice and cool, but it also might be a bit like giving the old car a new paintjob and hope the sellprice goes up once again.
i dont want to whine but eve was once such a HUGE universe. now everything keeps getting smaller and much much simpler.
the smaller and simpler it gets , i fear it will attract even more douchbags, wannabes and "____"-heads.

not if it gets dumbed down more and more
skillwise i agree wholheartedly, but even that seems to dwindle because of changes they made. and i am not talking about the sheer complexity of the game. thats still there in a way.
its more like the stage the game is in. its getting harder and harder to "leave a mark", so help "shaping a galaxy" so to speak.
its a snadbox alright, but one where basically every shovel and every piece of sand is already occupied and taken by a bully. some bigger, some smaller. but unless you join them theres no real chance to get your own "piece of the sandbox".
it just doesnt work anymore to go where noone is and stake a claim. and be respected for being bold and trying to establish something. oh god i AM whining.....
