MMmmmM coffee. Altho I admit shame that I don't like it black, and put in some stevia and creamer. Yes, even in the frufru flavored coffee I drink.
I think I should buy Keurig stock. I'm on my third brewer. ...maybe I should use bottled water. Hard water is murder on these things. :) Catch me Thursdays and Saturdays at Midnight GMT on Split Infinity Radio

If you use too few grounds in your coffee, it becomes bitter.
"Strong" coffee is usually less bitter.

random's idea of white vinegar will work just as well, i believe. probably cheaper too.
if you use either, be sure to run water through it a few times to remove the taste/descaler
descaler is nasty, nasty stuff to get in your beverage. very harmful. You can't take the sky from me

I refuse to drink the Flavia crap they have for "free" at work. It's horrid. It probably could be used for torture in most first world countries, but I think the Geneva conventions rule out that type of cruelty.
Agreed, better quality coffee is definitely easier to stomach. I have cut down on the things I put in, maybe one day I'll go cold turkey. :)
Hrm. I have done that with the generic home Keurigs, but I got an office level model off Freecycle when I broke my last one. It's working now, but I'm not sure what would happen with vinegar in the reservoir. I suppose I could go to the cold brewer or french press if things go south.

Run a pot full of white vinegar through that thing, followed by 2 pots of just water to clear that out.
