Like, at one point when I upgraded from doing missions in a Reaper, I had only fitting guns and an AB.
So it was missions, missions, missions, and then go to the trade hub and attempt to fit as many essential items before running out of cash. And then do that process again.

Understandable. 
I always enjoyed making fresh characters too. Though for me it was the avatar itself and surrounding persona I had the most fun with. Having to worry about skilling them and choosing what path to follow actually felt like a hassle. At the end of the day I guess they all train ultimately for T3s. Wormhole pvp is literally all I do aside from RP, so they've absolutely no use to me until they can at least scan competently and fly a covops.

And I'm finding the whole covops necessary aspect as well, granted I'm new to it but it's always nice to have a certainty in training.

And yeah, been thinking about a new character recently a bit. Want to get the others tidied up first, then actually try to think of a role another character could play, pilot-wise. I already have far more than I "need" and most sit around doing absolutely nothing but skilling in the logoffski zone.
Though perhaps I'll save the slot. I do have an eventual idea for another character. "In good time" ....
