I saw this Mach today and a Charon being bumped and was instantly triggered. Free killmails ahoy omg, I'm such a wh*re. I started burning out to the doomed Charon, trying to figure out which character/s I should send to join Amber for the free catalyst/talos dankmails (we were all on our way back passing through after a danksiege). But then I stopped and remembered the other day. and I legitimately felt bad for these folks hyperdunk that was being sabotaged by my fetish. All that work and bumping, getting folks together, stocking up the Bowhead and pulling it all off.
I'll try and reserve ny fetish for burn events. I can't promise anything though.

I did a blatant kill whore yesterday or the day before. We where fighting some randoms near our home system and got on some KMs legit. Then we killed a ship and had the pod in the bubble and the FC for whatever reason said don't kill him yet. I had to quickly turn off the arty before it locked as I had just done all hotkeys onto the pod, including a jammer.
After a second the FC said pop it and everyone else was faster than me, but I still got in on the KM cos I was sensor jamming the pod. Yay me!!
You'll have to speak up, I'm wearing a towel.

lol we do the exact same when we gank (not so much during bigger fights for obvious reasons). "EWAR on pod" is almost always called and everyone will say on comms when they're on it so it can then be popped. Sniping the pod before everyone can get on it is referred to as "lazerhawking" the pod, a tongue-in-cheek joke about pilots from that group who apparently got known for doing it a bit on joint ops or something.

No I get it, dude, but - just people bring it onto themselves and that's just how it is. Only reason I removed the snipe from the quote was not to be implicated in another lagl flame war. I tend to be alright with making minute details while scribing, but it's kinda had sometimes with the 0.3mm tool tips (which is as small as I can write letters without magnification).
I haven't really had too much practice with it (I didn't even know there was such a thing as engraving tutorials), but it's quite easy to pick up, so it was just a matter of getting a practical image and being prepared to make a bad mess of it. |
