On the other hand everyone seems to do it nevertheless, if his gang is in the disadvantage, and there is no other way out (and you are in kinda expensive ships/clones and/or guarding a freighter/"basket" with all or the majority of your eggs in it). How to fix it, as no one wants to stop doing it himself? 1) I think, that bubbling or being bubbled should be considered "aggression". 2) Systems with souvereignty of a player-entity should only allow them and those blue to them to disappear after 15m if logging and having "aggression" - all neutral and hostile ships will just stay floating in space if their pilots log off (eventually only enemy/neutral ships that are meant to be cloaked, like covert ops, force recons, eventually also stealthbombers and the new black ops ships should be able to log off cloaked and stay claoked when logging off). Point 1) takes effect regarding the bubbling device of the heavy interdictor on sisi already. It should affect the interdictor, too. Point 2) makes souvereignty at least mean "something", if logging wihtin a POS-shield of one of your POSs shouldnt trigger a warp off, especially not in enemy territory then of course - your ship will stay within the POS shield though - if the POS is being destroyed, your ship can be destroyed, too. So called "farmers" will have a hard time if trying to log off in systems, which has souvereignty of another entity, which might be a nice side-effect, too. PvP raids into enemy territory might have to be planned a little more, or, if not planned that very well, should be done in less expensive ships... My two cents... Ah i remember that, i had been roaming all the way into cache if i recall and hadn't been to hzf before, hung around, killed an afk hauler mmining in a belt? and chilled in system for about 30 minutes having a look around. Gates were camped and probably was being probed, wasn't too sure because i'm used to hopping safe spots and belts recycling ss if needed etc. I did log after a fair while and went to the gym i think, believe i even said so in local. Edit - If i am camped in i usually make it a point to stay active and bounce ss and belts because of how i feel about logging. My screen never loaded. 25 minutes later, I relogged along with many others similarly situated after not loading the grid. I was surprised to see my ship and pod totally intact, as we took a beating on jump-in from reading IRC. Does this make me a loggoffer? Not to me, logging off made it so I could play. I was stuck. Did I care if I lost the ship? No, I have plenty. Would I have petitioned? We're not talking about crashing here - that happens to everyone, EVE can be a buggy game sometimes. But when I look at our forum, and I see reply after reply after reply from a very large sample of people who all say, "Yeah, they logged a freighter on me too!", I find it very hard to believe that all of these are bugs and valid disconnects. If you want people to stop logging on you, the only thing you can do is hold those around you to a higher standard.
