I am getting exceptionally frustrated and annoyed by tactics that certain war enemies are engaging in. Namely, using non-corp alts to persistently harrass and annoy Con'Mal and I using such tactics as pictured below:

Excentrica Gallumbits and Iwan Iwanoswitch are the most common offenders but I've included images of only one offence that I've managed to screen grab.
They (our war enemies not the above-named idiots) also spam Con'Mal and I with gang/convo invites whenever a colleague is trying to get beyond our camped gate. We have auto-reject switched on at most times but it's amazing how often one of us will switch it off to make a gang and virtually EVERY time we get convo invites - it beggars belief that they are trying it so continually.
I have also received numerous evemails from immature members along the lines of:

I realise baldour tinaka may not be an alt but his behaviour is so alt-like it's hard not to believe he's a 3-day old n00b (killing his cruiser with a cruiser was not "ganking" or "unfair" so I cannot understand his stupid evemails).
Also, a number of our war enemies pilots have left their corporation in order to continue working for their corporation un-molested. Is this fair?
Force alt characters to be in the corporation of the character with the most skill-points, CCP, or give us some way of ridding ourselves of pesky annoyances!

Agreed the alts should be made public.
And if you are going to harass someone with immature evemails than at least be funny. Those evemail were unoriginal and lame to say the least.
Oh and my current alts are Rootus Rootus and LeAnn Rice so it's not me

On the alt issue... I wouldn't like to have my alts public, cause I'm really playing them as 2 other characters.

btw, what ship has 8 med slots? Never seen one able to put 3 invul, 1 xlarge, 1 amp and mwd plus sensor booster? wth? |

I've submitted petitions (and so has Con'Mal) for the cases listed above.
I understand someone will consider that I'm being whiny and a "cry-baby" but I will not have my gametime ruined by other people's lame actions.
I have no other recourse but to move away when the "locking and warp-jamming a can" thing happens and that's not how I wish to spend my time playing Eve.
Orbiting players who are obviously camping a gate is also becoming a nuisance and it means I hardly dare use missiles even though cruise missiles caus less splash - I'm not risking 65M isk worth of battleship on causing 360dmg to some idiot who throws himself in front of my missiles.
I am now going to petition EVERY single instance of locking me, orbiting me, or anything else which hinders my gameplay without myself having the ability to take severe action against the offenders. I don't care what anyone thinks of this - this is MY gametime and I will not have it wasted by dumb idiots.

Looking at the patch notes, cruise don't cause any splash at all anymore, so they are 100% safe in empire.
I've had to turn off my auto targetting due to alts in empire locking you the same time as you enter a fight, and almost clicking a button to fire as the second target locks. This is really annoying.
IMO locking you, should be enough justification to fire back. It shouldn't be seen as an aggressive action, but you should be allowed to shoot without concord interference or sec hit.
This along with the 0 spash would fix 90% of alt problems in empire.

I just made a pertition for harrasment about 45min ago, I recieved an answer within 30min. Just don't let them get to you, dock for a while. Eventually they will get bored/banned.

In 0.5 and above you shouldn't be able to target any pilot you're not at war with.
That's a nice simple solution for one of the problems, eh?

Those emails are nothing compared to the emails I got from Xirtamvotf, and Blackmoonvotf a long time ago in curse. Together they probably sent me about 50 hate mails over a period of 3 weeks....
But it is lame that alts are used to avoid corp wars so much. And its even worse when alts are used to hide behind in empire space. A corp mate of mine lost a scorp becuase somebody we were at war with ran behind his roomates alt when he fired a couple cruise missles at him. And CCP does nothing about it...

Probably better to keep adding new instances to an ongoing petition, rather than file a gazillion petitions each week. That'd just get CCP annoyed at you, instead of them.
Yes, they ought to be banned for that sort of chicanery. IMO an alt should be either a completely different character in its own right, or shouldn't exist. It should *not* be used as a cover for what your main character is up to.
On a side issue, please change the name of those jpgs. I don't want anyone thinking it was me harassing you like that - my insults are a little more crafted than "Hey Joshua, you suck"

Well, something does clearly need to be done, but I don't think disabling alts is a good option.
Most people (such as myself) that use alts have them for a useful purpose: I use my one alt, Vala Dae'Tarien for taking care of corp business in empire space when I'm 45 jumps away in 0.0.
IMO, alts should be public: I don't care that you now know I have 1 alt as well as her name--she's a member of my corp and it's no secret that she's my alt.

Alts supporting pirates, spoils game dynamics. I like having pirates about, but Spy's / trolls, is just not Cricket.
Since stuck cases are not as frequent, one account for one character should be fine. This is ofcourse the final solution.

I shouldn't have deleted all the hate mails I received from t the old days of 60k gate camping. Could fill pages with them, but most of it would not survive the forum filter.
I never ever reported anything of it, because I know their day was screwed anyways, but if someone would send me convo/gang invite all the time then I think this is more than harassment, it's almost exploiting. This ppl should not be warned but banned instantly.
But I don't understand what that has to do with alts.

I have never understood the need for alts and have always been a proponent for a single character only per account....people will be forced to be more responsible. Certainly the overinflated member numbers of a corp would become ridiculous thing of the past
Get rid of them. Force us to choose our favorite of the three....allow us to merge the skills from the other two alts to our primary character (we dont want all that traing time wasted after all)
